  1. Saka deserves that. One of our few bright sparks
  2. Reminds me so much of Enzo last season. Doesn't make changes, players tire, make mistakes. Opposition score, then makes changes.
  3. It's a great nostalgia trip. I loved it.
  4. Gareth Southgate chucks his yogurts away when they get within two weeks of their use by date
  5. Like telling Kyle Walker to stop having kids
  6. Agreed, but their flags a big plus.
  7. Micah Richards tries far too hard
  8. I guess we'll see. That presser just hammered home how much work there is to do and clearly he can't do it all himself. I like his collaborative approach though and his trust in the relevant experts to have the right answers. The challenge I see is how the hell to prioritize everything and then pay for it. Early days but I'm very impressed with his start.
  9. What an excellent, honest, open, transparent, press conference this is. I'm rapidly turning into a Starmer fanboy I'll be honest. Finally, a no BS PM I think I can trust.
  10. I had no idea about James Timpson, what a potentially inspired appointment (and apparently Teressa May also sought his expertise when she was PM tbf)
  11. Fvcking brilliant I'm going to have to watch TToI all over again. One of the best things on telly ever.
  12. Starmer doing a press conference at 1pm in a bid to show accountability from the get go. Good.
  13. Ah, I may have misread the constitutional bit
  14. I'm not a Labour supporter but I really hope they do. I think we all need to give them a chance. I think it was the Bild newspaper who said "The Brits have chosen dull competence to replace post brexit chaos" and I'm more than O.K. with that.
  15. Apparently last week before the result, Wes Streeting told the BMA that if he got in as Health Secretary, the very first thing he would do is call them and start talks on the junior doctors dispute. Sure enough, the first thing he did was make the call. It remains to be seen if they'll find an agreement but the point is, he did exactly what he said he'd do. I know it's only a small point but I think that's all most voters want really - politicians who keep their promises.
  16. Frances badge just looks like a big cock
  17. Kin el Ronaldo don't half love himself. Mind you, if I had his body and money I'd probably love myself too.
  18. Radical but an interesting idea.
  19. Lineker is right. ET needs binning off
  20. From the late 80's to mid 00's I could pretty much reel off who was in each of the top cabinet jobs. I think one of the reasons I became so disengaged with politics since then is the constant change in positions and lack of consistency. There's been so much flip flopping of cabinet ministers that it's all become a buggers muddle. Unless they seriously fvck up, I really hope this new cabinet get to see out a full term in their respective roles. Give them time and support to implement the right things and don't tinker with it all too much. A bit of normality and stability wouldn't go amiss for the next 5 years.
  21. This guy is the ducks nuts
  22. O'Brien sums it all up well for me in the first 10 mins
