  1. Saka our biggest threat again. The rest need to step it up
  2. Haha, run into the back of Giroud and break your nose. Muppet
  3. I've been against politics threads on here in the past for various reasons. Partly because they go off-piste, party because they get too personal, partly because they become offensive, bitter and nasty, and partly because the 'left' have always dominated and there's been little balance. However, I've enjoyed this thread over the last few weeks and learnt a lot. It's rekindled my interest in politics and I'm hopeful of the future under Starmers government. Lets not collectively fvck it up this time and maybe instead focus on the positives and trying to make the country a better place.
  4. Bradley might be an inspired choice or equally a car crash - could go either way. I really didn't like him after his spat with Jimenez and his previous RC antics but he's grown up a bit since then and I've warmed to him. The fact he's never been a vice captain could work against him but he could also start a riot at Bethpage with his patriotism. Interesting times...
  5. On the bog with Jacob Rees-Mogg
  6. Imagine if we’d signed that Spanish defender Juan Annolli
  7. Either way, I love his mental toughness. No fvcks given. A bit more from a salty Novak Djokovic. I focus on the respectful people that pay for the ticket, and love tennis and appreciate the players. I played in much more hostile environments, trust me – you guys can’t touch me."
  8. Yet season after season after season we all keep coming back for more. Football fans are addicts.
  9. Yeah, that Dutch team of 90 were class and still had many of the same players as the Euro 88 winning squad. We should have beat them in that group game really, we had plenty of chances. Gazza absolutely running the show.
  10. A repeat of this would be nice. One of the all time great nights.
  11. Rumors that Keegan Bradley set to be named US Ryder Cup captain. Didn't see that coming at all.
  12. Listening to all these recent cabinet member speeches just hammers home how much work there is to do. Wtf were the previous lot doing? Really impressed with Starmers collaborative approach so far but my concern is they'll all sit down in a few weeks and realise everything they want to do is going to cost a fortune. They'll have to find a way of raising billions without taxing joe public.
  13. Really enjoyed that. Looks like a united squad who all get on well with each other to me.
  14. Lewis in bits. £300m in the bank but it still means a lot to him.
  15. That's brilliant from Hamilton. Nine wins at Silverstone is incredible
  16. I fell out of love with F1 in the mid 90's but this has got my juices flowing again. Great stuff this.
  17. Looks like it's gonna piss down soon. Should be fun.
  18. How about Sam Carling, an MP aged only 22. Fair play to him. Massive head, must be clever.
  19. Beverley Hills Cop was one of my favorite films as a kid, I loved Eddie Murphy in the 80's I can't believe it's 40 years ago now and 'Axel F' on Netflix was a great trip down memory lane. Same music, same characters, same set, same jokes, same predictable story line, but all good fun none the less.
  20. Saka's a really nice kid ain't he. Pleased for him.
