  1. He's now fouling more than the filthiest of dogs - a consequence of him compromising for his failing pace. Our recruitment seems to have been very poor in this area. How do we solve our current issue? I dunno. Play Evans more in the short term I guess and urgently look at our defence in January? Like others have said though, he is and always will be a club legend. It's sad to see his decline and sad that he maybe cannot see this and that it's time to let go and move on.
  2. Just reviewing the scores and seen I've inadvertently given Iheanacho 10/10. Was going to leave it as a default 5/10. Fat fingers and smartphones.
  3. No, things move on. Same as with Pearson, thanks for what you've done and you'll forever be respected / a legend but coming back now? I think it could end very badly. We're currently in a reasonable shape, IMO and the League Title is there for posterity.
  4. Thought I'd look on their main forum. You are correct, he was not held in great esteem at the end! https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/steve-walsh-no-longer-our-director-of-football.89863/page-469
  5. There's nothing impressive about public internet spats. They should take their grievances to PM and if they want to meet and sort out their differences in person, then we don't need to hear about it. Simple as. On topic, Harry was absolutely immense today! Fantastic!!
  6. Agree. Awful. The crowd seem to be getting frustrated as well.
  7. Dreadful turgid crap so far. 0-0 finish?
  8. Jesus H! No way would I be supporting Nigeria in the final against England, just because they had more City players in their starting 11. An England v Nigeria final would be an amusing thought though.
  9. I'll be happy when Serbia and Croatia depart. Commentary makes me feel like fumigating the house. It's a pity there aren't names like Arsic, Balsic, Fanyic, Pubic (pronounced properly ) to make it more amusing...
  10. I'm very unconvinced too. He strikes me as being a well spoken fool, which is obviously a dangerous mix. My opinion was formed well before he became the England Manager too. Mind you, I'd be really happy to be proven wrong and we advance a long way into the tournament.
  11. Interesting that the 'traditional' big 5 still occupy the top 5 places, even though Everton have been mediocre for years.
  12. I had problems on my mobile at one time with those menus but could just type in the numbers and it worked!
  13. Not from myself and people near me. It was spontaneous and really classy from us, I thought.
  14. I'd probably be sick of his 'great character' and 'outstanding' comments after about 3 interviews tbh. Mind you it'd likely mean we were getting good results, so I'd put up with it!
  15. 5-1. Can't stand the Blunts. Let it happen!
  16. The issue is that we need separate seating and standing areas. Simple as. I suffer with balance issues and standing in the same place for 45 minutes is an absolute nightmare for me. But I'm nowhere near disabled in a normal situation. Anecdotes comparing a middle aged woman with an 80 year old are laughable and naive.
  17. Pretty decent!
  18. Your embarrassment threshold must be low.
  19. I'm in two minds about this. The players show a proper spirit of togetherness and we win something like 3-0, or we play like we're shellshocked by the recent shenanigans and lose 3-1. Please be the former scenario!!
  20. We've certainly been slated on their board! (fans and the city itself) Weirdest footie forum I think I've visited. Just need to spank them on Saturday now and while I'm not sure they're the team I'd like to see relegated, they deserve to do some major sweating till the end of the season!
