Let's just hope the previous managers don't leave Glassdoor reviews to put future applicants off I'm not sure how attractive it is. Massive rebuild, likely with teenagers, unmotivated journeymen and a points penalty... Part of me worries that anybody naive enough to take the job won't have the right qualities we need to go forward. But maybe I'm being overly pessimisitc.

I find the fan divide and confirmation bias one of the most troubling things. I have a stressful job and brilliant but exhausting young family. I go down to the football primarily to catch up with my mates and have fun. My natural instinct is to encourage our players. I feel like if I'm not a doomsday miserable bastard with one of the very few activities I do for myself, I'm dismissed as a "KPFC". I don't live in Leicester so get to about five games per season, and recently it's felt like a lot of fans dedicate their time at the match to constantly slagging everybody off. For completeness: I want Rudkin out. I want Top to sell. I have been kept up at night by concerns about the club's future. But I still want to enjoy myself, catch up with mates and support our football team. Is that such a bad thing?

I'm all for squads balanced with youth, peak and experience but he's 35 this year. Not seen him play to be fair but we'd probably do just as well keeping Ricardo Pereira (which we shouldn't!).

Not everyone will leave (sadly!). Not sure who would pay Skipp's wages. Nelson isn't very good, League One at best so why move on? You may be right on Souttar but not sure clubs will be keen to match his wages and/or offer us money.

This feels so obvious it is maddening. As fans we don't know what goes on behind closed doors and those people could all be bellends or thick as two planks, but surely there's a role they could be playing (other than in the cringe video before games and nostalgia panels).

Depends what happens in the next 6 weeks. If we've not removed multiple cancers by then and have a new board / manager in place, there's no reason to think we will be competitive in League One.

I think those fans just wanted him to encourage him to take a good corner and not see the club relegated mate. Winks was clearly unpopular amongst the fans. That doesn't mean they don't want him to score or assist a desperately needed goal. I was surprised he was included in the squad and the decision to bring him on after the first feel-good moment in months sums up Rowett's emotional intelligence.

It's now utterly undeniable that we need a full reset and change in direction. Bellend board members and players must be managed out of the club - Faes, Mavididi, Winks, Kristiansen, etc. Let's start treating character as a vital criteria. While this is the worst moment I've seen, but other proper lows like the Stoke relegation and the Watford play off were catalysts for some of my best times as a fan. Maybe we'll go down and grow a proper team with allegedly good young players with a bit of experience thrown in. Then come back as a financially-stable force with lots of improving local talent. ... and maybe Jamie Vardy can be persuaded for one last hurrah and hopefully finish his career on a high with another league title (Andy King's achievements in reverse 😂)... Seems his 17th birthday is on 10 July. Guess that gives him plenty of scope to agree a move before his pro deal kicks in.

If he were to leave would it be on a free / for a nominal fee? I don't think he can be properly under contract until he turns 18 (may be wrong!). Tbh I've not seen what the fuss is about, but presumably people who know what potential looks like can see it in him.

I heard an interview with him recently where he was saying Ruben Amorim was right to stick with the same system despite it not working. Said a manager should not change formations or tactics, if results are poor they should just change the players. Sounds like our board would love him...

I think the start of COVID. I don't think we've ever felt the same since. FA Cup win was obviously a massive high, but that was very much with the foundations laid before covid and a little bit of good luck.

Regardless of the extension I think he'll still move on this summer. Probably on a season's loan to some French team, with us still paying the majority of his wages, until his contract expires. Still worth it though - get him out.
