Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official

Looks an exciting talent, capable of some sublime stuff in posession but also works his bollocks off when we are not in possession. Early days but very exciting debut. -
Leicester 1- 1 Tottenham Post Match Thread

1st half absolutely awful and honestly feared we would be down without even a whimper but play like we did 2nd half and regardless of the outcome the fanbase would accept that. 2’nd half reminded me of the O’Neill years. Creidt to the players and to Cooper as they left everything out there 2nd half. Massive point 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 -
5 or 6 more performances like the 1st half tonight and he will be gone. This is poor no defensive organisation and nothing going forward, this is appalling.
-
Weirdly for a team offering so little attacking intent and yet we are being carved open at will, very little defensive security and no potency going forward, buckle in for a long long hard season Facundo looks a real talent, will probably get hooked at half time. Cooper has his work cut out big time.

Not sure she is, pretty certain Rudkin reports direct to Top.

Just asked my Spuds supporting brother about Skipp, and says very similar to Winks, more of a holding midfielder than box to box, says he will be good for us, didn’t really fit with Ange’s playing style at Spurs. At 23 he is a solid acquisition with plenty of opportunity to push on and in 2/3 years could well be sold on for a decent profit.

I am going to cut the club some slack on this, we have no idea what the structure of the deal is. Of course Spurs will leak the very maximum they could earn from it, however it is far more likely the initial fee we are paying will be somewhere between the £8m & £14m that has been quoted with the remainder made up of a number of clauses, some fairly easy ones and some based on future success of the player and club. IIRC the Perez deal was reported as £30m by Newcastle but was later confirmed to have been an initial fee of £16m with the rest subject to performance and appearance clauses. The selling club will often leak the total potential fee to soften the blow of losing a player.

Whilst he cannot be held accountable for the lack of signings, he should no way be given a free hit regards team selection, tactics and how we perform. Pre season has been a bit of a shocker across all aspects of the club, let’s hope come tomorrow we start to get our act together, otherwise I think quite righty everyone should feel the pressure.

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Just a list of potential attainable players that I think could be decent additions and in the event we do go back down would give us a great foundation for the championship. Ziann Flamming - Millwall Gus Hamer - Sheffield United Keane Lewis Potter - Brentford Tom Fellows - WBA Mikey Johnston - Celtic Johnny Rowe - Norwich James Hill - Bournemouth Alfie Doughty - Luton Morgan Whittaker - Plymouth Tyrhs Dolan - Blackburn Joel Piroe - Leeds -
Absolutely pathetic from the club, the reason they couldn’t recognise the contribution of an absolute club legend was because it would have seriously detracted from the hangers on that came to bask in the glory of the trophy presentation. This just about sums the club up at the moment, fecking clueless and so far removed from reality. Truth is the fans on the day would have preferred to see Albrighton honoured on the day than be subjected to a bunch of day trippers and influencers flouncing around the pitch.

Just needs games, he showed in the glimpses where he did get decent game time that he can contribute but with every young player there is a risk and I think Enzo and now Cooper preferred to go with the more experienced and proven strikers such as Vards and Daka. if Cannon gets given a decent run of games he will develop into a very decent player, whether he will be afforded that with us remains to be seen
-
I wonder if he was scouted to play the hybrid left back/left centre back role in the Maresca system, effectively the Callum Doyle replacement. And the club in its infinite wisdom decided to press ahead with the deal despite Enzo leaving.

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Maybe this season the club should have considered reintroducing release clauses that would have given us a competitive advantage in negotiations for certain players. I know after Kante we moved away from them, but beggars can’t be choosers and given where we stand, we have to be realistic and this could offer us the best chance of securing some of our targets this season. For example Hlozek if had signed him for £18m on a 5 year deal it would have been a PSR write down of £3.6m per season so at the end of this season his book value would be £14.4m. So if we agreed to a relegation release clause of £25-30m we would still make a decent PSR profit of £10-15m. This strategy might have to be the way forward for the next few seasons until we fully establish ourselves back in the top flight. -
Don’t have a clue to be honest.

Clubs such as Brighton, Bournemouth, Southampton and Ipswich have all been this week whilst Rudkin sits on his arse. 3 weeks we have been supposedly close to bringing in new players, it’s a feckin circus 🤡
-
Couldn’t agree more, we should have been hoovering up the best of the young EFL talent. Criminal waste of this transfer window so far
-
Sounds like a Steve Martin film
-
Nice guy and as I have previously said he is a yes man and fall guy for Rudkin and Top. Don’t expect him to come out all guns blazing but some of the shit spouted today was utter club PR and the manager towing the party line
-
I think in fairness we are lining up potential replacements in the event Hermansen is sold, highly likely there is some strong interest. Give the club some credit in this instance they are succession planning. I doubt he signs unless Iversen and Ward go or Mads is sold.
-
His lunch got hijacked before he could pay for it …..poor fecker 😂
-
I am not sure having King Power on the shirt is much better to be honest 😂
-
Would have been better too have been a lovely shade of diarrhoea brown as a nod the current management and administration of the club. joking aside best of the 3 kits this season but given how I feel about the club I will not be spending another penny until Rudkin has gone and if that means KP have to go to make that happen then so be it.
