  2. I know it won’t happen but if the two of them genuinely care and want to do what’s best for the long term future in the club that is what they should be doing. The fact they would rather bring in bang average muck like Coleman or Rowett says all you need to know. This is all about appointing yes men who won’t rock the boat or question their cosy little relationship and the status quo will continue:
  3. Top and Rudkin need to swallow their pride get on the phone to Pearson tonight and offer him the keys to Seagrave get him in as Manager to the end of the season, then let him take on the TD role reporting direct to Top and get him to identify the next manager in the summer.
  4. I am not saying King is the answer but not sure why today shows he definitely isn’t. We were down to 10 men in literally the first 10 minutes of the game, 2nd half we came out and really gave it a go and had a great chance to get back in the game but Ayew took one of the most complacent penalties at such a critical time. As for team selection given there was no Skipp, JJ or Ramsey he was severely restricted with what he could do. Yes he could drop Ayew for Daka but lets be honest that is on par with having to choose to eat your own vomit or eat your own excrement. We desperately need 2 or 3 reinforcements but definitely thought we played with far more intensity, would have been interesting to see how the game played out had Okoli not had his brain fart or Ayew had taken responsibility and buried his spot kick rather than the half arsed effort.
  5. Yep would take him or better still Pearson
  6. 2nd half performance has been a lot lot better especially given we have 10 men, that awful penalty by Ayew is so frustrating as that would have really given us something to push for.
  7. He has been here since before KP. Feck me I have read some shit in my time but bollocks like this just makes me laugh 😂
  8. The sending off so early in the game has been a hammer blow to the game plan. The reaction in the 2nd half will be a good measure of Kingys ability to motivate and react in game.
  9. I would go 3-4-2 second half Stolarcryk Aluko Nelson Gray Fatawu Winks Page Monga Mavididi Daka
  10. Would have liked to see 1 or 2 more changes as for formation we don’t know it could be 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 I will judge Kingy based on performances and results.
  11. I agree entirely but instilling a culture and professionalism isn’t mutually exclusive with being someone who rules with an iron fist. What I am saying is I could see Kingy do this given time.
  12. There should be 3 chants all the way through today’s match …. Andy King We want Pearson back We want Rudkin out
  13. First time in a long time I have woken up excited for a match. Make no mistake so many things need to change at our club but having Kingy in the dug out is a massive boost and I already feel a reconnection. Kingy, NFP, Vardy and others like Sharkey are just individuals that will always bring the fanbase together.
  14. RVN tried that approach last season to disastrous consequences. We actually need someone who can operate somewhere in the middle, can earn the respect of the players and when needed have tough conversations. The days of managers giving players the hair dryer treatment and ruling with an iron fist and by fear disappeared a long long time ago.
  15. I got to run at Seagrave as part of a charity fundraising and I got to run and talk with Kingy for around half and hour, whilst I will never divulge some of the stuff we discussed out of respect to him. What I can say is don’t be fooled by the fact he is a genuine lovely guy, he is also fiercely driven. He absolutely recognises the issues at the club, however also is realistic to recognise it isn’t an overnight fix. He absolutely loves the club in the same way you or I do, this is his club. He cares deeply, not only about he club and players but also every other person associated. As we ran round he must have said hello to about 50 people including ground staff, academy players, staff and parents. He has a real way about him, he is the such a decent person, but here is the interesting bit, it made me realise and appreciate just what a consummate professional he is but also the love and respect he has from most people associated with the club, he is inspiring and he is the type of character that I would run through a brick wall for. He isn’t a wet lettuce or a soft touch in fact I would say he is a hugely driven and focused man that is respectful and measured in how he engages with each and every individual. Given time and our support and backing i honestly believe he will become a top top manager and quite possibly our next Nigel and Enzo. He is and always will be Leicester City through and through, he absolutely loves our club as we do, let’s get behind him as this could be the start of how we can all reconnect with our club.
  16. Cracking episode 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
  17. Really don’t have an issue with Sadler coming back, granted his spell as caretaker was shite but overall as a coach he is generally highly regarded and respected. Think he will be a good foil for Kingy.
  18. So basically it clears his remaining PSR value and we get rid of his wages
  19. His goals and assists are irreplaceable 🤣

  21. Agreed and I would also add he may have offered his services to the club on an interim basis and the leak has come from his side to raise his profile and get his name back out there in the public domain in the hope of securing a gig in league 1 or 2 when the opportunity arises.
  22. I wanted to reflect on what I heard and read before I posted as I didn’t want it too be an emotional charged rant. so here goes …….. Firstly It’s good that he has actually spoken at some length, i do genuinely think some of his responses are partly down to him maybe not fully understanding the context of the particular question, however there are elements where it is very concerning and highlights the lack of both football and business acumen and knowledge around the club. Regarding the manager I genuinely think the decision to part ways with Marti had already been made in just think he was unprepared as to how to answer without giving anything away as to what was to follow. In relation to the “get promoted” whilst it did across as a little bit cringy and naive I think he completely missed the point of the question, which I think was more directed to what are the impacts to the club of not being promoted this season. The snippet that really did concern me was the comment about not really knowing about PSR ….. whilst he may not fully understand it, I find it very difficult to believe that nobody else in the club did not. This would highlight a couple of things, either others were aware and tried to warn him and Top didn’t listen or the club was woefully under prepared and lacked genuine expertise to navigate this. Either way very very concerning. Finally the one that really did irk me the most was the comment about being a small club in the midlands before KP. This was very disrespectful to the past history of the club and in some ways ratified the feeling that in more recent times, the club is slowly but surely moving further and further away from anything pre King Power. That really annoyed me as I have always been proud of our history as a club.
  23. Agreed, in his interview with OPA he did mention the TD and said they couldn’t announce it just yet but soon, so suggests someone already in a role, I think the person will be on garden leave and an announcement will be made in the next of couple of weeks. I am also fairly certain Andy Goldie was ruled out a couple of weeks ago.
  24. I think a lot of the current links to managers like Coleman are very much agent driven leaks to the media. I imagine there will be agents and managers offering their services doesn’t mean we are interested or approached anyone. I think it will be a week or two before anything happens, much like when Rodgers left and Smith eventually came in, Stowell and Sadler were given the chance to to try and get us back on track. Think same will happen with Kingy.
