  1. The return of Cooper Man 😂 or the appointment of Dyche …….or they have decided to finally stop ignoring Ruud and have told him to crack on with his plan.
  2. Would also suggest lots going on behind the scenes so maybe today is the day we start to hear more news regards managerial position.
  3. That thought crossed my mind as well
  4. No it hasn’t been fully controlled by the premier league and EFL, there are rules and our poor decision making has prevented us from righting those wrongs. the rules are shit but so has been the management of the club.
  5. Yes I do, there were good young up coming managers and players in the EFL and abroad who would have been available, jumped at the chance and better long term progressive signings
  6. I agree the rules are farcical. However the rules didn’t force us to appoint Cooper or RVN or spaff millions on shite like Skipp, Ayew, BDCR & Eduaord. The rules are frustrating and definitely in place to protect the big six but let’s not kid ourselves we have been masters of our own downfall with clueless decision making that has had catastrophic consequences to our club.
  7. After seeing this pic of Top doing keepy uppies, Rudkin is busy drawing up a 5 year contract at £80k per week
  8. Looking at it we are pretty much aligned, the main differences being I may have Daka’s and Soumare’s valuations out of kilter as I had Daka at £20m and Soumare at £23m. Okoli as I understand it was more like £7-8m up front with add ons etc taking it to the reported £13m. VK I have him halfway through his contract at a fee of £11m.
  9. It wouldn’t trigger the full accrual however we would need to have a clause in his contract and we would have to demonstrate it wasn’t a discriminatory act otherwise we run the risk of potential constructive dismissal claim. Garden leave would mean we would keep booking the monthly payments for PSR until dismissal was confirmed but I highly doubt we have genuine grounds to place RVN on garden leave.
  10. Nothing to do with PSR it’s do to with us ripping up our model and then spaffing big fees and wages on dross. Yes PSR is an issue but not to clubs who are well structured and well run, we have become lazy and stale, it isn’t the fault of PSR that we spunked £20m-+ on Skipp or paid well over the odds for Edouard and never used him.
  11. I agree, if the reason we are hanging on is to ensure we can get our no1 target then I am all for it, rather than go for a cheap and cheerful shit appointment now. We saw with Cooper the damage that can be done.
  12. I am sure if he was staying, it would have been confirmed and Ruud would be saying he has received the full backing of the club and things moving forward for the new season. All direct quotes from RvN continue to say he has had no feedback or direction from the club ahead of next season. Hardly points to him staying.
  13. How dare you say that, you do know we were in league one once and JR was here when we won the league and FA Cup so you aren’t allowed to ever question a decision he or his recruitment team makes. We should be grateful
  14. Agreed pal we could have got Hayden Hackney for half of what we paid for Skipp and he would have had more of an impact and even if he left this summer would have made us a profit.
  15. The state of this club at the moment is horrifying. 2 relegations in 3 years, a squad value that is diminishing, a season where we set a record for the number of games not scoring a goal at home, an impending points deduction, possible transfer restrictions or business plan and yet - - Manager is still in role - DoF looks so entrenched he will only leave when he decides to retire - Head of recruitment who has tanked in 3 of 4 windows we have been active in since he joined. - A CEO no longer fit for purpose and is slowly eroding the disconnect between club and its supporters - An owner who know treats us as customers and would rather fill the ground with day trippers, influencers and his mates. We are nothing more than a vanity project. not one of the above has left and if one does go it will be the manager, whilst the rest continue to destroy the club from the inside. I am sorry but whilst we may not be in Chansiri or Yongee territory just yet, we ain’t far away from it and make no mistake the continued distain shown to the fans and this ongoing stubbornness and refusal to communicate, accept any accountability or responsibility for what has been an utter shit show these last 3/4 years, suggests nothing is going to improve in the future, they will continue to double down. The lack of any formal announcement or statement regards relegation is a complete lack of respect towards its fanbase. The charade with RvN is absolutely amateurish and shows the level of incompetence currently running this club. We need systemic change and quick as honestly I can only see a long hard stint in the EFL and a club ending up on its arse. We have one roll of the dice left and that is to completely reset bring in new fresh ideas and a progressive DoF, Head Coach and Head of Recruitment, focus on young hungry players and our academy prospects.
  16. The big clue that RVN is leaving is the fact Vestergard is saying he wants to stay
  17. And people still try to defend this mob, that we learn lessons blah blah blah, our recruitment strategy is absolutely fecking horrendous.
  18. I don’t think the book values are on low side however the big issue is wages, but if reports are correct that this year wage reductions could be 45-55% will certainly make it easier and more attractive to potential suitors to do a deal and cover full wages
  19. A few have been asking about book values, so had a bit of stab although can’t always take into account add ons etc Hermansen - £3m-4m Stolrcyrk - Nil Riccy P - Nil Justin - Nil/Nominal Thomas - Nil VK - £5.5m Coady - £2.5m Vesty - Nil Faes - £6m Nelson - Nil Okoli - £6.4m Soumare - £4.6m Winks - £3.3m Ndidi - Nil Choudhury - Nil Skipp - £16m Ayew - £2.5m BDCR - Nil Fatawu - £13m Mavididi - £3.75m McAteer - Nil Daka - £4m
  20. Where do I seriously under appreciate Albrighton’s talent, all i am saying is I see similarities in that neither are particularly interested in doing lots of step overs etc they are both direct wingers and both give 100% each and every time, I can see Kasey becoming a very similar kind of player.
  21. Would be wonderful if we could move him on, book value of £2.5m, personally don’t think we will get much more but if we can break even and they cover all his wages than makes a lot of sense.
  22. Remove the emotion and this is an established international defender who has a book value of circa £6m so a fee of somewhere around £10m would be decent business for both parties. We bank £4m profit so roughly £16m-20m that we can spend or use it to pay off Ruud. Whist the buying club get a decent squad player for no more than £2.5m -£3m a year.
  23. As I posted earlier, this is the clearest indication for me, that Ruud is leaving.
  24. I think like FBS they will disappear and be replaced again by King Power
  25. Love it, I can honestly see Kasey being similar to Marc Albrighton, not the most technically gifted but a real effective player who becomes a real crowd favourite, made up for him he really is one of our own and seems to want to run through a brick wall for our club.
