  1. I would go for Wellens or Fuchs if we wanted someone with a Leicester connection, if Millwall don’t go up I would be also looking at Alex Neill.
  2. Same could be said for the majority of the premier league clubs, our losses in the premier league far outweigh what we lost in the championship
  3. Or the ownership and Director of Football Operations (or whatever title he goes by now) stops pandering to these players and finally back a manager to sort the culture and standards out. RVN called it out last year pretty early on and did at least prepared to take the players head on but a mix of poor results and weakness from the board, meant he was sacked. In hindsight had he been given this season I am not sure we would be struggling to stay up.
  4. It absolutely boils my piss when people justify clapping the players off, after a performance like the last two, as being a real fan ….no you are not you are complicit and enabling of the massive drop off in standards and culture at the club and the level of acceptance of our demise. if you are a real fan then this current situation and our potential fall into league one and financial meltdown should be making you angry, sad, worried and extremely frustrated, not happily clapping this muck week in week out
  5. Just out of interest I wonder bow much we paid in settlements to sack Cooper, RVN and Cifuentes and their respective coaching teams, I bet it dwarfs any amount we would have had to pay out to secure a decent manager like Corberan, Rohl or Muslic and yet we shouldn’t say a word, we should just clap and be grateful for the good times.
  6. We also could have got Rohl or Muslic instead of Cifuentes but we always go for cheap out of work options and then pay out more in pay offs than what we would have paid to release a half decent manager
  7. I too would show that loyalty if I was over promoted and paid handsomely to perform so woefully
  8. Sorry disagree, Skipp has been head and shoulders above Winks who has been nothing short of a disgrace for the majority of this season, regularly downing tools and when he can be half arsed to turn up, just wants to spend the majority of the game slowing down possession and playing lots of one/two’s with the defenders. Pass completion stat packer.
  9. Fcuk me surely if you go home and away and watched us surrender our premier league place and now sit on the verge of league one, how could you not question Rudkin’s role in all of this.
  10. These last two games have shown up his limitations, two must win and very winnable games against one team on the beach and the other who has won one game all season and guess what he goes with the same old same old formation and tactics, and we end up having to rely on late equalisers in both to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat. He is woefully out of his depth when he has to select a team to go out on the front foot and attack the game. His stock tactic is to set up not to lose rather than to win the game. Hence why we bottle so many winnable games under him and our best performances have been away games against opposition near the top of the table.
  11. Two appalling results this weekend 4 points dropped in 2 must win games against piss poor opposition. Players can get to feck but Rowett needs to look in the mirror because that was nowhere near good enough. Too slow and passive in two such important games.
  12. If we don’t win today, then i hope if there is that much interference from upstairs Rowett walks and Rudkin has to take charge for the last few games
  13. Do we ever just absolutely go for it when we are losing, we are half an hour away from defeat in a must win game and we still strolling around like it’s a pre season friendly. Rowett is having zero impact this is fecking disgusting 🤢
  14. Well somebody needs to remind the owner that the insistence on that formation and playing style has taken the club to the verge of league one
  15. I don’t agree, when you run through the team there is no reason we should be anywhere near the bottom 3 most if not all this starting XI have played and performed at this level and if not above. The truth is because we pay ridiculous wages and long contracts the players have lost all hunger or desire. Standards and culture are in the gutter. then mix that in with rank average managers and this is what you get.
  16. 2 massive games over the Easter period and a real opportunity to secure 2 wins and 6 points in 2 very winnable games and so far he is absolutely blowing it. The players just don’t look like it’s that important you would think we were day in mid table with nothing to play for let alone supposedly fighting for our lives. Not seeing anywhere near from Rowett to suggest he should continue next season.
  17. I bet Rowett can’t wait to be able to select Vestergard alongside Lascelles and get another of these young whipper snappers out the starting XI
  18. The problem is clubs are losing a fortune in the championship chasing the premier league dream and the so called riches and then when they get there, despite the massive revenue increases somehow manage to lose significantly more. The game is out of control and unfortunately there appears to be a real lack of common sense being applied by the owners and decision makers. all business sense and acumen goes out the window when somebody gets involved in football. Madness.
  19. Culture and standards are absolutely on the floor. Recruitment has been dire, not only the quality of players signed but also the character. Under Pearson the recruitment focused just as much on the character as it did football ability. nowadays it’s all so stale and lazy in everything we do. Manager and player recruitment is honking and in a lot of instances heavily agent influenced.
  20. Are you a member of the trust? if not come and join, it’s a great opportunity to get your voice heard. The larger the membership becomes, the more it represents a larger proportion of the fanbase then not only do we become louder but we gain more credibility and influence.
  21. There is a real opportunity to have your voice heard by joining the Foxes Trust, the membership has doubled over the last 12 months but there are so many more who could sign up. it’s £5 per year, the trust will hold the club to account and will challenge on the important issues, so don’t sit on the sidelines, sign up and have your say and play a part in helping the trust engage with the club and help change the direction of the club. https://foxestrust.co.uk/
  22. Bumping this thread as I’ve recently started supporting the Foxes Trust in a voluntary capacity and, having spent a bit of time understanding what they’re doing, I thought it was worth sharing on here. If I’m honest, I was probably like a lot of people before. aware of the Trust, but not really clear on what it actually did or whether it was worth joining. The reality is, it’s a lot more straightforward than people think. Membership is just £5 a year, and there’s even a free Associate option. What stood out to me is that membership has doubled over the last year, which tells its own story. More fans are starting to realise that having a collective, structured voice does make a difference, particularly when it comes to engagement with the club. It’s also worth saying this clearly, this isn’t about being anti-club or pushing any one agenda. Fans will always have different views, and that’s part of football. But what I think most of us can agree on is that we want a club that is: Well run Open and transparent Accountable Properly engaged with its supporters That’s really what the Trust is about, making sure those views are heard in a constructive way. The last few years haven’t been easy, and it feels like a time where supporter voice probably matters more than ever. If you’ve ever had an opinion on ticketing, communication, decisions at the club, or just where we’re heading generally, it’s a pretty easy way to make sure that voice actually counts. No pressure on anyone, just thought it was worth sharing from my side.
  23. Fantastic piece of work, just thinking about this season, and I think the revenue may well reduce slightly from 2023/24 season as that year we had pretty much sell out crowds every week. Whereas this season there has been a drop off in attendances so wouldn’t be shocked to see matchday revenues drop off in comparison. Also I wouldn’t be shocked if we see commercial / sponsorship revenues also reduce in comparison to that season, as we didn’t have a front of shirt sponsor until October time.
  24. When he is fit and back in the match day squad you just know it wlll be in place of Monga and Gaz will have managed to move out every academy prospect under the age of 20
  25. I understand that but that does not excuse or justify such an horrific increase in losses, we made strategic decisions to buy the players we did and the timing of the players we sold, regardless of the timing of such decisions, largely we spunked a whole load of money on rank average players who have little or no sell on value. Our decision making last summer was largely horrific and has set us back 5-10 years
