I think we will play Ndidi as a CB next year. Enzo said something about him having a different role next season. I know he has got to sign a new contract.

I'd imagine there have been talks but nothing can be officially said due to the transfer embargo and FFP. Anyway bored of the above. Let's make it about positive memories of Ihanacho.

I've seen a few things saying he has rejected an offer of a new contract and is off. Somewhere was reporting his t-shirt the other day confirmed he is going. While I find him deeply frustrating and don't think he ever truly got to a level his talent deserved I'll be sad to see him go. Obviously, it's sadder watching Albrighton and possibly Vardy (pretty sure he is staying). I do want to say thank you to Ihanacho tho. He has scored some important goals. Played in some important games and I will miss having him around. He also scored the first VAR goal (I think).

I'm frustrated with Enzo. I like the style against teams that come to play against us, like Southampton did. However, if we can't overcome Plymouth, Millwall and Blackburn playing a low block (I think that's what we call it) then how will we overcome teams that do that to us in the Prem. Especially, when you look at say Crystal Palace and the quality they have that can hit you on the counter. Enzo said he tried something for the future yesterday. Was it to invert the CB rather than the full back? To break teams down that have packed the central area of the pitch you need to either get behind them (wings) or go directly through them. You need to create jeapody which means shooting. We've lost our way here. We will need a pair of 8's that can do this. But one will also need defensive attributes and pace to cover the inverted full back when it goes wrong. In the prem, I think Enzo's system will require our best players to be our defenders. They need to be great at everything and have pace. This is very rare and why teams will pay huge sums of money for players who have these attributes. Fofana being an example of the money teams are willing to spend and even Maguire (great defender but maybe not world class). I worry where we will find our CBs that have pace, size, presence, strength, the ability to control and play a football and positioning sense. So we do need a plan when teams come for a point, park the bus and shut up shop. This is where we need a plan B Enzo.

It would be great all round if he gets his move and we get the money. Sometimes things just aren't meant to be.

I'm not fussed by the title. I'd rather see the team bonding like they currently are and signing contracts (when we are allowed) for a go in the Prem. This team is a strong base to build upon. It's a great chance to play some of the kids as well. I'd imagine we play a much changed 11. Then get the lads out together for the final game at home.

I don't think the leagues know either! My additional arguments would be: You can't deduct points from teams in different seasons for the same accounting period. Forest and Everton have had their deductions. The damage the league has done to our finances by allowing us to be relegated by a point to a team in breach of the rules. Also our reputational damage needs to be taken into account. Check out what Leeds fans are saying about us. Although in a years time they may well come round if they to are stuck with players they can't shift and then falling foul of financial rules themselves. Whatever happens it's another blow to football in this country. Most people only see what's happening in simple terms which is Man City (winning titles), Everton, Forest (staying up) and now us with our promotion are profiting from cheating. My thinking is the Prem will ask for a sizable points deduction and the panel will whittle it down to a nominal 3 points due to a multitude of reasons as to why we have breeched. The crazy thing is we still don't know how much we have actually breeched by, if at all. It's all grey!

I don't think we are as far off as people think. Our starting team against Saints doesn't need a lot. Yes we might not be able to compete with the top teams but we have the basis. The Southampton game also gave us a blueprint on tactics. I'd like us to buy Fatawu. Sign up Vardy for the season, Vestergaard and Ndidi on short term contracts. Release Ihanacho and Praat. Sell Ward, Daka, Kristenson, Thomas and Souttar. We'd need a CB to replace Doyle or another loan deal. We need a couple of 8's. One could be Soumare, but it annoys me that he walks straight back into a Prem squad. I'd imagine the squad might not be happy to welcome him back either. A wide player and if Daka and Ihanacho go a striker. It sounds a lot but we will loan players. My biggest worry has always been that we get promoted and have a weaker squad than this season. KDH- depends on him. The money would be useful but we'd have to reinvest it into the squad. It all depends how much of a necessity it is to comply with the EFL's demands. My understanding is we could sell him in June under the EFL and then be able to use the money in July in the Prem. Bonkers. I'd imagine the club will sit down with the out of contract players this week. If they have truly gelled recently then they might be more tempted to stay. Let's face it. The money is good at Leicester. Will they get such good deals elsewhere? I know that's what's got us into a mess but it must be a draw for players knowing they will be financially looked after and the owner goes for it. I can't write let Albrighton go... I hope he plays or at least gets a half at home last game of the season. I really want to see him play with Vardy one last time.

I get your point. But Southampton, Leeds and us had been Prem teams for a few seasons. We all have Prem players and Prem money. Next season will be different in the Championship if Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton are relegated as they won't have survived even a season of Prem football. I'd love for Ipswich and either West Brom or Norwich to come up with us as they won't have the budgets/spending power of Leeds/Southampton. If only one of Burnley or Luton can survive it would really help us out. All nonsense until we get over the line ourselves tho. Let's hope that's sooner rather than later.

My perception of our strikers has really changed this season. Most of us thought the one position we were stacked out with quality was striker at the beginning of the season. I honestly thought it would be Ihanacho's year and if he got injured we had Vardy. We signed Cannon as well. Then the goals weren't coming from the strikers I thought it was the system we were playing. Now having watched Vardy and Daka miss so many chances, Ihanacho look lazy and yet Cannon still can't get a look in I think striker is one of our weakest areas.

The pattern is actually that all 3 goals in our last 3 defeats have come from the side where we invert the full back.

That's his strength. That's what got him those goals in Europe. In this team he doesn't get those type of opportunities because we are so slow in moving the ball forward. He gets different type of opportunities. I think

I just want us to shoot. Not trying and pick another pass. Not spray it wide/back to go wide. Get to the outside of the penalty area and shoot. It's the only thing that makes defenders move. When you shoot you often find the ball lands at a player's feet in space as the defenders have moved to block the shot. It creates jeopardy. The last two have been hard watches. We are superior yet cannot score. Daka isn't the starter. He links play gets chances but he just won't score. Neither is Vardy a starter. We can't get the ball to him. It's got to be Cannon or Ihanacho in the next game. Please. Ok. Breathe. Perhaps we will have a better chance against WBA and Southampton because they might have a go. I live in hope

Daka has his merits but he is in horrendous form at the moment. Not sure what Ihanacho has done but he seems to have slipped in the pecking order. I'd like to see Cannon start tonight. If not Ihanacho. Style wise- we've come this far this season. It's not changing this side of the summer. But like most on this thread I think we will need to make changes to it to be Prem ready if we are fortunate enough to fall over the line. And dare I say it... It's the striker position that Enzo's system demands something different to what we have got. I think we will need to swap out Daka and Ihanacho for one quality Enzo style striker. Perhaps more reason to see Vardy as a finisher.

I think I want Cannon to start. Vardy on the bench, with the way we play I think he is more effective coming on later in the game. I really hope it's not Daka who gets the nod. We need a goalscorer up top. Ihanacho? We've hardly seen him since the African Cup of Nations. Ricardo- I guess he has to start. We need to win. I really hope he copes with 3 games in quick succession. Perhaps also give Praet a go instead of Ndidi. Oh and we absolutely need Fatawu.

I'd also add that our breaches are also partly because the Prem didn't get there points deductions sorted in a timely fashion. If they had Everton would have been relegated and we'd have stayed up. You could also argue if Man City had been properly, and timely sanctioned we'd have had two further seasons in the Champions League. I really do hope we go after this. Even if it means we get a massive points deduction or fine or both. It needs someone to have a proper go at defending themselves and pointing out the wrongs. I also don't see how we can be deducted points for an accounting window in a different season to both Forest and Everton.

Win our next two and the pressure builds on Ipswich and Leeds. Especially, as we play before them.

Enzo's comments about the subs making a difference suggest he may start with Praet for Ndidi and Akgun for Fatawu. I'd also put Ricky on the bench. It's so important he stays fit. I've no issue with playing Hamza. I just wish he didn't have to play the inverted FB role. His natural game is as a combative midfielder. When he can play that way, like against Bournemouth in the cup, he is good. Ndidi is clearly being managed this season. He often gets substituted. He clearly can't start on Tuesday, which is a shame because he looked good today. Fatawu just looks knackered- perhaps mentally more than physically. I'd give him a rest and bring him on later in the game.

Oh I'm definitely biased and emotional! I'm also very angry with those running the club, including Top. Then I think of the journey Leicester have been on since I was old enough to enjoy football. The clue to that is in my site name. Top and his family have taken us to places I never thought possible. They are obscenely rich. Make ridiculous sums of money. They talk about 35 million like small change. He has already said financially King Power will continue to fund the club and the aims for Leicester City are still there. Keep the faith!
