I think I want Cannon to start. Vardy on the bench, with the way we play I think he is more effective coming on later in the game. I really hope it's not Daka who gets the nod. We need a goalscorer up top. Ihanacho? We've hardly seen him since the African Cup of Nations. Ricardo- I guess he has to start. We need to win. I really hope he copes with 3 games in quick succession. Perhaps also give Praet a go instead of Ndidi. Oh and we absolutely need Fatawu.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

I'd also add that our breaches are also partly because the Prem didn't get there points deductions sorted in a timely fashion. If they had Everton would have been relegated and we'd have stayed up. You could also argue if Man City had been properly, and timely sanctioned we'd have had two further seasons in the Champions League. I really do hope we go after this. Even if it means we get a massive points deduction or fine or both. It needs someone to have a proper go at defending themselves and pointing out the wrongs. I also don't see how we can be deducted points for an accounting window in a different season to both Forest and Everton. -
6 Games Left! - We are top with a game in hand!

Win our next two and the pressure builds on Ipswich and Leeds. Especially, as we play before them. -
Enzo's comments about the subs making a difference suggest he may start with Praet for Ndidi and Akgun for Fatawu. I'd also put Ricky on the bench. It's so important he stays fit. I've no issue with playing Hamza. I just wish he didn't have to play the inverted FB role. His natural game is as a combative midfielder. When he can play that way, like against Bournemouth in the cup, he is good. Ndidi is clearly being managed this season. He often gets substituted. He clearly can't start on Tuesday, which is a shame because he looked good today. Fatawu just looks knackered- perhaps mentally more than physically. I'd give him a rest and bring him on later in the game.

Oh I'm definitely biased and emotional! I'm also very angry with those running the club, including Top. Then I think of the journey Leicester have been on since I was old enough to enjoy football. The clue to that is in my site name. Top and his family have taken us to places I never thought possible. They are obscenely rich. Make ridiculous sums of money. They talk about 35 million like small change. He has already said financially King Power will continue to fund the club and the aims for Leicester City are still there. Keep the faith! It's a big blip in the road but with the money we have behind us the future remains bright. This only goes wrong if we lose the money- King Power/Top -
What would it take to turn on the owners?

We know our Top will keep putting his hand in his and King Power's pocket. I'm furious, just like everyone else, I just don't think we can afford to force them out. -

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm furious. My point is we can't afford for them to walk. -

I'm genuinely scared we turn on the owners and they walk. Then what? The money going out is obscene and unless the players earning those wages walk too we would be in financial dire straits. We need Top and King Power. -

I have no clue what happens if we don't get promoted. Do the Championship start forcing us to sell players? -

Hence why I think we will be breaching for years. If Everton go down they'll be in the same boat. -

It's just dawned on me why Forests points loss was so small and Everton's slashed on appeal. The Prem knew we were smashing FFP! They couldn't take big points of them knowing how much we were breaching by. 😂 -

So... Next season we will breach again as the 20/21 accounts are forgotten about. But £185 million plus this season will be beyond the allowed amount. If we are promoted we start on say -10, as our breach is bigger than Everton's and Forest's. And we will have another points deduction later on in the season, perhaps another -10. We could finish the season on minus points! Then the following season in the Championship we scrub of the £95 million but still start on £90 million losses on top of the losses for the previous two seasons (one includes this season which can't be pretty). We might as well just keep spending. What's the incentive to stop! We can't meet FFP in the next 2-3 seasons. So why bother trying. Or anyone fancy joining us in a Super League! To end on a serious thought if the Premier League doesn't do away with FFP I can see the majority of the 20 clubs in it breaking away. If Man City, Everton, Forest, us and the other teams reported to be close to breaching or breaching is true why not create a new Premier League without financial regulation. -

Just a thought. Without FFP would we the fans be loving our owners for ploughing so much money into the club? Does our situation kill FFP as it highlights how you're shafted twice by failing to reach your targets? I think that's our argument. We budgeted for success and instead had to pay off a manager, got relegated and lost a load of players on free transfers. Imagine Everton, Villa, West Ham etc going down. They'd be in the same financial dire straits as us. I hope we can keep kicking whatever penalties come our way further down the road as I think FFP as a concept is dead. Also as grim as the last season was with Rodgers, the players who wound down their contracts have a lot to answer for. I'm also angry that we continued to play some of those players but not others. I'd have played hard ball with them. Especially, with the World Cup coming up. You sign or you don't play. -
Still in our hands.

I'll say it. They played like a bunch of players who know they won't be playing for Leicester City next season. -

I don't get what Mavididi and Fatawu are doing. We play them because we want wingers who can beat their man. Yet I can't remember either having a go. I was screaming at times. I don't get it. If they are coached to retain possession, turn back or play in an 8 play Albrighton so we can at least hit Vardy with an early ball. Ricardo looked off the pace when he came on. Clearly not been training. We've been massively found out. All our channels of attack are filled with opposition players who go 1-1 with us in midfield and hold the advantage of having an extra defender. They then hit the space with clearances knowing they'll get lucky every now and again. Vardy having a shocker Infront of goal didn't help. -

Have I got this right? The Prem are after us because we lost revenue due to not being as successful as we had in the previous 3 seasons so our money in was lower. We tried to meet their rules but even with not adding to our squad we have fallen foul of them. So by trying to stay in the rules, we've broken them anyway and been relegated. The EFL are after us because we've been relegated and automatically have a massive loss in revenue. They want to charge us when we don't even have a year of finance in the EFL which prevents us from even trying to get in line with their rules. Therefore, you might as well break the rules, be honest about it, and stay in the Prem with a small points deduction for being honest and cooperative. As if you follow the rules and are relegated/not very successful you won't be successful which will result in relegation and more financial woes and punishments. Everyone will think you are a cheat and your best players will be subject to low ball offers you're bullied into accepting in order to get within the rules you have already been charged on for breaking. Where is the incentive for a Prem League Club to stay within the rules when threatened by relegation? It seems our only mistake was not buying better players to ensure our survival. Losing 4 points in the Prem would be OK when compared to what we are faced with now. -

The failing to submit audited finances bit is the joke here. I think we were asked to submit our finances when the Premier League teams were and we've said no. As a Championship club we don't have to do that. We then plan to submit our finances when asked by the Championship (end of this month I think). So out defence is... Prem you can't charge us as you won't get out finances in time to do so and it would be unfair to punish teams (Forest) this season and us next for the same accounting period. And Championship its to late to charge us as we are now in compliance (sold a player or 2 in the account window early summer). Fun times. We might be dancing on a tightrope but with a bit of luck we might just be alright. -

Just imagine if the Premier League introduced a squad budget instead of FFP. Let's say you can spend a maximum of 100 million quid on wages and transfers in any given season. That would be financial fair play wouldn't it? You could add in a rule that England internationals could be paid outside the rules. Then English players would have an incentive to earn an England cap and clubs would want them in their squads. It will obviously never happen but it would even it up. -
Why aren't we making actual substitutions in games?

I'm sure he would. But you're more likely to pick up a muscle injury in the last 15 mins of a game due to fatigue. -

I've no problem with us going up after a scrap and I've no problem with us staying up next season after a scrap. It's not supposed to be easy! The 'golden years' were that. We will be remembering them for a long, long time. They are not coming back for a while yet (if at all!). Unless we have another Kante, Vardy, Mahrez etc etc up our sleeves. The leagues are littered with clubs our size. We've played Hull, Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday to name a few. We have no right to success. Just to dream those days might come around again. -
Isn't the money you get through promotion through the play offs more than both the Champions and Runners Up receive anyway? I'm guessing you make money from the ticket sales for your home leg and the merchandise you sell. Perhaps even from the Wembley visit, press interest, TV money etc. Bonkers if true. I wouldn't worry about how we get promoted until we are promoted. That said titles are nice and form our history. If we win it I'll have a few drinks to celebrate. If we are runners up I'll have a few drinks out of relief and if we go up through the play offs I'll need many drinks to calm my nerves!

I don't think Ndidi is fit at the moment. He was been rushed back in. Hopefully, he can rest, heal and get fit. I hope we aren't forced to play him on Sunday in the FA Cup. Also think KDH is carrying a knock or two. He hasn't been the same since Coventry away when he was wiped out. I think he is mentally knackered too. He seems to carry the world on his shoulders. I'm quite positive. We've had a blip and come back and got 4 points from two tricky away games. We've rolled our sleeves up, huffed and puffed and got the job done. A rest will mentally do them a world of good. Keep the faith!

I think Vardy was at risk of picking up an injury. I don't think he can play 90 let alone 100mins. Its not just the running it's the time on feet. Better to get him off, rest him for 3 days then have him back in training ready for the following weekend than injured. I think -
I worry for Villa. They are on the same path as us. They will get some form of European Football next season. They'll have to deepen their squad, pay bigger wages. However, they aren't in the 'big six' and I can see them, like us, having a massive fall from grace in the coming years. And then FFP will bite.
