Don't disagree with anything you've said, and this thread may on the whole be more supportive but I've seen comments on twitter/match threads wanting him shipped out on loan and just generally moaning. I find that weird. Obviously no player is beyond criticism but for a player with 4 assists and a consistent starter in 8 pl wins in a row I feel it should be easy to back him rather than get frustrated

One of the weakest arguments going. It's as if people forget one of the loudest things every game for a good 10 years home and away has been 'twvt you're sh!t aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh'. People don't seem to have a problem joining in with that Don't like 1 word replace it and sing it with your kids differently, but let them join in with the overall song

Stadium expansion is massive for our future atmosphere IMO. I reckon we'll be lucky where in the next 5-10 years we'll be getting a lot of young local fans who have enjoyed the best ever era for the club growing up. If the club facilitate them the atmosphere will improve. If we ignore their needs and continue to favour certain people then it will be like this forever. You can see it's worked with away ends where there's been a very obvious block for singing/standing (often sorted by ufs), NEEDS TO BE DONE AT HOME

Isn't this the plan with the fanzone around the redevelopment? Having been to arsenal both in the away end (not an option) and corporate (nice bars and restaurants to sit at) this sort of thing does make such a difference to your decisions. For example on Sunday if there were bars/an area it ay well have felt like an after party too

I'd bring in Praet for one of Tielemans or Maddison tomorrow with the other sitting out the Norwich home game. Praet is quality and the midfield (other than Ndidi) looked slightly off pace on Sunday

No point even having this conversation. 15/16 team won the league. This team is fantastic, and will hopefully win something but they have done nothing yet

We're coming in to a time of the season that will hopefully see us continue to have cup games midweek and the busy Christmas schedule.. he's going to rotate in and out and it's just a benefit that we have the midfield quality to do that

Genuine question - why has the Newcastle away end not been moved down to the bottom tier as was the Premier League regulations put in a couple of years ago (that away ends had to have at least 1 section in the bottom tier). I know the initial excuse they gave was that they didn't have time to implement sufficient safety regulations after being promoted from the championship but it's been a few years since then? If anyone knows? Putting that in the bottom tier would make it an unbelievable away

It was definitely more like it from us in my recent experience, even if the stands weren’t as good as the concourse. Keep organised blocks going, Union FS doing well tbf to them and a much better feel about the club!

An exaggeration but surely any football fans love the flow and sheer joy of moments like goals. With VAR checking everything you lose that, even watching Sterling's goals today I got the 'well this is getting checked' feeling. Until it is instantaneous its no good for match going fans - goal line technology is superb. Wait until a similar offside technology is created, until then don't ruin experiences by having a system basically being trialled
