Been told that on 5Live they've been saying VAR worked just as they had hoped it would?? Surely anyone who understands/loves football knows that VAR in it's current form is horrific

Don't get why we don't sing this more. That and having a weird obsession about changing the Ulloa song for a different player, just sing about Ulloa. Guy scored important goals in our greatest ever season, other teams sing great songs about former players

Need this to happen

Anyone remember when he got sent off just after coming on at Palace for calling the Lino a ginger ___ or something hahah

The West Ham away end was terrible but it's not an example we should use to completely discredit out fanbase. It's an awful ground, with practically 2 away ends in 1 miles away from each other and no great places to drink near the ground (other than central London and travel in) If our away ends were organised/got lucky there's always potential. We've had good ends and will again, people like UFS getting similar people together just needs to work a couple of times and people will get on board even those sitting. The club do need to help though with a consistent sitting base just indicate where they could go, e.g. front rows of a top tier in split ends.
-
Is there any way in arranging away ends in particular to get people grouped together in the right area? All the good ends I can think of in recent years (excluding Brugge) has had a big presence at the front near the goal (thinking Stoke when Amartey scored late, Spurs FA cup).

Westley Nathan Morgan - Appreciation Thread

Our greatest ever captain -
I'm not sure, I remember one Palace away after the league win where that song was sung very loud and long (maybe 16/17?), it was also alright at Fulham this year. Could have just coincided with the general decline in our away ends

Fulham 1 - 1 Leicester Post Match Thread

I actually went dreading our away end last night, pleasantly surprised by how good it was and made the evening 10x more enjoyable. More of that please -
Puel did well switching to 3 in midfield. Vardy just incredible again, and feel the need to say how good Morgan was today. Didn't put a foot wrong

Changing the topic a bit but did not rate our away end one bit on Wednesday. Last time out at Arsenal I thought it was great (maybe the game and the fact it was a Friday night rather than Monday) but still feels nothing like our away ends in the championship. Annoying as it makes me less inclined to make the effort when I get the time

Jamie Vardy to Speak at the Oxford Union
Sammy replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
Annoying because I tried to book him to come and speak at a different uni last year and got nowhere - sure it will be a great speech -
Fair enough with these points, I didn't clock the warnings on my fairly jumpy stream and having spoken to friends at the game it seems like everyone in the ground saw and got concerned about. The fouls individually didn't actually look that bad for me but the whole thing is clearly important Given what I've heard it does seem foolish he wasn't taken off if it really did feel like he was treading on egg shells
-
How many fouls did Morgan actually commit? Obviously the first yellow is clear but the second one as a single tackle is just ridiculous to be booked. I remember one other foul on Richardson that was made to look worse than it was. Really don't see how the yellow can be justified by Leicester fans other than 'oh it's Morgan he's so slow/rash'. Marriner then doesn't book Tosun for a late tackle on Chilwell later in the game because nothing is made of it. Angered me

Surely the best avenue to pursue is getting SK1 (and hopefully SK2) treated as an unofficial standing/singing area, enforcing sitting in other places in the ground. Would please police with rowdy fans away from the away end, and surely fans in L1 would prefer standing in a larger, louder 'home end' with players shooting towards you second half then giving it the big'n to away fans with no atmosphere? Only problem you have is those sitting in SK1/SK2 currently who don't want to stand/sing so offer them moves to arguably better seats at the back of K block? Then when rail seating is legal thats where it would go. Seems like the club aren't massively cooperating though? We must be one of the only clubs with 25k+ stadium that doesn't have an entire stand standing, I don't believe that's because of a lack of demand. Just take Wembley, unofficial standing area was shown and everyone stood behind the goal

What happened at the restart after the penalty was overturned? Was it a Costa Rica free kick for a dive (and therefore would've been a yellow) or a drop ball? Interested to know how refs are supposed to restart after that
-
I mean it's probably got something to do with him arguably being our best ever player

Absolutely desperate for our fans to avoid there being a twitter/instagram post off a nonsense football account along the lines of "Leicester fans singing One Arsene Wenger, class " Please can we just beat him once?!
-
If we're going to be sheite in the coming games/years can we at least get a song going about the title winning season and repeatedly sing it until we get accused of living in the past? And then some. Please? Those were the days my current favourite

Palace at the weekend ? Are we having a topic
Sammy replied to dynamark's topic in Leicester City Forum
you say as per as if Paul Konchesky didn't pocket him every time we played them in the Championship -
Not saying Labour would have to win. Having something like safe-standing in one party's manifesto would make it a fairly easy bill to pass should the other party win to show a willingness to cooperate etc provided there was enough public support for the idea shown during the election
-
Getting it in Labour's 2022 manifesto is the only way I can see it happening in the near future
