Shame there wasn't a swap with Poch to be had, plus a few £mn our way and that would have still saved Chelsea a lot of money while given us a manager where we could lose in an exciting manner.

Labour are a bolt on who will largely have SNP and Green support if climate shut down and generous funding is available. We know Sir Keir is 99% certain he knows what a woman is and is humbled enough to take the knee to foreign inspired activist groups. As for policies, those will maybe come to pass later.

One of my mates is a Leeds Utd supported, he was gutted for years when we took him on.

Who could forget that: GARY Lineker recommended Leicester City make a move for Chelsea Women manager (now USA National team coach) Emma Hayes during their summer search for a new boss. It'd be good for a laugh and think of all the virtue signalling points we could garner.

The team going up is a lot weaker than the team going down bar the goalkeepers. If we had the 2 main keepers today, two years ago we would never have gone down and be in better shape today. I'll never forget the freezing out of defensive players under Rodgers who could have contributed in the failed season and his perseverance with one Danny 'happy to watch em fly by' Ward. Thanks for the FA Cup though.

Enzo isn't good enough to keep a poor side in the EPL. That takes a certain type on manager who can firm up defence and scratch out a win in enough games, usually ugly, to survive. That is your former Allardyce, presently Sean Dyche kind of manager. He has already shown he is a petulant emotional type, ready to start lobbing teddy bears if the mood takes him. There is no plan B for all eventualities, its the Rodgers managerial book of Plan A with a few personnel changes during the game to pursue Plan A with fresh faces. Relegation is pretty much a certainty with Enzo style which in the EPL will be pass the ball around until the opposition nicks it. I'd rather get the likes of Moyes in to firm up the defensive 9 that will be needed next season.

The charity pick a final league position poll for the season that has just finished landed a donation of £330 to the charity I chose, Air Ambulance Midlands. After the tax gift, this yielded a donation of over £400 to Air Ambulance. This upcoming season, I think is going to be a harder call but the rules are the same, £5 for every correct pick up to a maximum contribution of £1,000. The finish position is the official table position that may or may not be affected by possible penalty points deductions. The poll closes automatically on the opening day of the season.

To actually dream up and develop a game plan B because it'll likely be called for in most games.

The top 3 Championship teams that were promoted last year won 78 games in the league between them, a win ratio of 57%. They are the bottom 3 teams in the EPL as things stand today with 14 wins between them, a win ratio of 12%. It feels like the winning ticket is a return ticket. I'd expect all three promoted teams this year to repeat the feat achieved by the three teams promoted last season seeing none of these teams has dominated throughout the season and will without much doubt get picked apart with great ease in the Premiership. The coming season may be best watched while wearing a blindfold. Vardy, our number one goal scorer by a long way with 20 goals only managed 3 in the sides last EPL season. I'm expecting a weekly horror show so it can only be bettered or battered each week.

Wouldn't have happened if our player of the season had been in goal. 10 games lost in the Championship, next season I am sure it is going to be considerably more. About 25 seems to be the going rate for newly promoted sides.

Danny Ward, he has another year on his contract so he will for definite be here for the EPL return.

Charity pick a number - Our Season finish position
Bazly replied to Bazly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Well done to the team. There were 66 people registered the correct end of season position when the poll closed so £330 has today been donated to Midlands Air Ambulance. With gift aid tax relief that works out at a final donation of £412.50. I might do another charity poll for the 2024-25 season. -
According to press pundits, the EPL has yet to rule on whether to lift or uphold the contracts embargo. If the embargo holds then no new contracts can be entered into, including for those players like Vardy and Ndidi and Lurch whose contracts are ending. Then, to help lessen the financial breaches which will bring their own sanctions then money is needed from player sales.
-
Maybe you haven't heard but there is a ban on recruitment. Not from the board but the football league. Unless this is ignored or removed then its sell sell sell.
-
It'll be a guy called Enzo because we cannot afford to sack anyone on a fixed term contract. Even the tea ladies are safe.
-
With the slide the players are all on there is no doubt, the Foxes Forum player of the season is Jakub Stolarczyk. Well done Jakub.

I wrote weeks ago I was checking out of watching games until the playoff games. Reads like a good call, who needs the misery?

Promotion this season would be a disaster. This team with nothing to spend in the Summer and a need to sell to raise some money to offset against losses accrued would be cannon fodder week in and week out in the EPL. Starting with a points deduction Derby County's low point record season would not stand another year. I'd rather the team get to the play off final and lose, that'd rake in a bit more money. This side have a hope of staying up in the Championship next season, even with a points deduction that they do not have in the EPL. Get rid of all the high wage players like Vardy and Ndidi and even injury troubled Ricardo. It is only by rebuilding with players on £10k to £40k a week that the club has any chance of a stabilising the finances. That is where we were at in 2014. Leicester City is the latest club to fall into the chasing the dream and coming a financial cropper. Blackburn spent big won the title and got burned, Bolton spent big won nothing and got severely burned, Leeds spent big won nothing and got burned and we spent big after winning the title and are presently burning. That is the only difference, our fall being after the fact but the result will be the same. Years in the wilderness, I'd guess that will be at least another 10 years.

Was Dennis Wise at the game?
-
Indeed it was. It was a long time ago now.

Dave Nugent commentating........ He is watching a different game. Talking about 'we'' were playing good football, comfortably in control. Reminds me of his shinned playoff final goal.

No leaders on the pitch in blue. Who was the genius who came up with this pass around the back crap?
