He does have a win ratio of 31%. That'd be a step on on last season.

It was Covid wot done it. Airport closures during travel bans were always going to his a duty free business hard. Unavoidable.

The charity pick a final league position poll for the season that has just finished landed a donation of £55 to the charity I chose, Air Ambulance Midlands. After the tax gift, this yielded a donation of over £65 to Air Ambulance. This upcoming season, I think is going to be hard to call with so many unknowns from what the team is likely to be to who will be the manager. It'll be a transition season but to where, we will find out. The rules are the same, £5 for every correct pick up to a maximum contribution of £1,000. The finish position is the official table position that may or may not be affected by possible penalty points deductions. The poll closes automatically on the opening day of the season. Only 20 permutations are allowed in a poll so those selecting 20th+ have 5 options of being a winner.

Fans’ heroes through the ages (well from 1966).

Its got to be Frank Worthington. -
Well my 18th pre-season prediction came in, points a little off though as I figured 28 so we fell a little short on that. I struggle to think of any highlights to the Season, still onward and downwards we go. Very few were with me on the 18th place so only £55 going to charity this year. I'll probably just do the Midlands Air Ambulance again.

When the forum has two goalkeepers as the top 'star' performers this years with our near -2 a game goal difference it shows how bad the season and the non star players really has been. Best forgotten or used as a how not to do anything lesson for future players and managers.
-
I'm expecting that King Power will proudly announce that Danny Ward has just signed a new 5 year contract and will be the number one choice next year following the departure of all other goalkeepers.

If you combined all the points of the newly promoted sides it'd be 8th in the league. The league has become a predictable bore when the three promoted teams become the three relegated teams for two successive seasons. It's time the top 6 fuked off then Man U could start winning things again.

Have to feel sorry for the guy. Way too much talent for us but easy escape route ruined by injuries.

Not quite your age but I recall way back to the 80's when the team was often poor but the play seemed more interesting, more engaging, more exciting. Games where you often felt the opposition had much better players but we would still scrap it out, often for a gutsy loss all the same. There were always characters in the side, it feels like we are about to lose our one remaining character. I have failed to get even slightly excited about the football for the last 4 seasons. It's been like going through the motions awaiting that final whistle for a reason to get on with the rest of your life. I'd rather lose in style than win by boring everyone, including the opposition, to death. 2014-15 gave me some of the most nervous energy I've ever experience in one season, a lived out roller coaster of a season. Leicester City Football Club has been playing itself into obscurity and not many will notice, except for us old enough to have memories of when we excelled at playing badly but it was sometimes exciting, interesting, engaging badness. Its become all so bland, predictable, stale.

Wolves win today ends our season. We won't catch their current points total until April and they have a much better goal difference.

Keep going to games after mathematical relegation?

The team is on track to land 26 points, 2 below my start of season projection. always the optimist. So we should be down and out around April 1st. -
Winks pass stats must be horrendous today.

Loving the hoof anywhere ball. It's like controlled panic.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Bazly replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
May as well appoint a player manager to the season end or promote the under 12's manager. It'll make no difference to the end result. -
Two shitty teams, just one is a lot shittier than the other. Both sides have fallen a long way in 9 years. Just one a lot further than the other.
-
I cannot recall ever seeing a lower rating for a player in a game. Ward is setting all kinds of records in his testimonial season.
-
I think it is sometime in May 2025. I also think it'll be the three that came up going back down, making history as the first time that has happened in two consecutive seasons. Basically the EPL is now a closed shop and we are outside looking in. From Champions to chumps in no time.

I didn't watch todays game unfortunately. This sports writer description probably means I saved a few hours doing something more productive. "Leicester took on the mantle of most inept defence from their opponents by conceding the meekest of openers. Nélson Semedo chipped a pass into the box but Jannik Vestergaard failed to deal with it, almost ducking underneath, allowing Guedes to hold off Conor Coady and direct the ball under Danny Ward, whose slowness in getting down to the shot showed why this was his first league start since March 2023.

A genuine gift that keeps giving. The opposition have to love seeing him on the pitch.
-
Look, we can pass it around the back 4.

Was but a matter of time.
