Soumare, as I understand it we tried to get him further forward than he had been at Lille, right from the off, and it was a bit of a disaster really.

I think he can only really work if Ndidi goes, unless some bright spark thinks we can convert him to box to box. That worked so well for us last summer. I can't think of any truly mobile midfielders that are that big, and anyone remember the spanish fella who lived on the Saff, who couldn't really run? Same s**t, different season.

His stats look like those of a no 10, so I guess we are looking at a 3 man midfield. Hard to see Madders and this guy pressing hard enough to be sustainable as part of the first 11.
