  1. Elyou-no-si.
  2. It makes sense that his role wasn't a pure dmc, perhaps explains some of the confusion.
  3. I might be wrong but... 'City had hoped Soumare could develop into a box-to-box midfielder, a rival to Wilfred Ndidi in the holding role where the 23-year-old could use his strength and athleticism to regain possession, then surge through the midfield. But City have grown impatient with his struggle to adapt to their style and to the Premier League, and are now seeking a buyer for him. At Lille, Soumare played at the base of the midfield, but as City looked to expand his game, he found it difficult to adapt. There were particular concerns over his lack of tracking back and the speed at which he moved the ball.' https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/leicester-city-soumare-transfers-rodgers-7126871
  4. Soumare, as I understand it we tried to get him further forward than he had been at Lille, right from the off, and it was a bit of a disaster really.
  5. I think he can only really work if Ndidi goes, unless some bright spark thinks we can convert him to box to box. That worked so well for us last summer. I can't think of any truly mobile midfielders that are that big, and anyone remember the spanish fella who lived on the Saff, who couldn't really run? Same s**t, different season.
  6. Too big for box to box really (again), although with 1 game a week we might be ok.
  7. Signing for Everton is basically giving up on life.
  8. Attila the Hun is our man, easy to remember. I think he does have the required attributes, and defended really well at the Euro's, as did all the Hungarians, tbf.
  9. eyes are too close together... next!
  10. People who drop the 'always the victims' line should recognise they are plowing a furrow heavily amplified by the one man s***show that is Boris Johnson. I just think innocent fans, including children, being crushed to death because of the negligence of the authorities, is just not funny.
  11. Big Tunes here, so it's a yes from me.
  12. Cornet with a 99 please.
  13. Finished his milk eh? It's a yes from me...
  14. Pleased he got his customary goals against the Saints
  15. 4 points behind West Ham. Makes you think, doesn't it.
  16. His stats look like those of a no 10, so I guess we are looking at a 3 man midfield. Hard to see Madders and this guy pressing hard enough to be sustainable as part of the first 11.
  17. At least he has stopped Real being priced out of a move for him, with a season like he has had.
  18. We might well have bought a plastic Bertrand, for all the good he did us.
  19. On balance I'd take him, relying on Barnes on his own is a stretch.
  20. I'd rather stick with 3, but if not 4 would be far better than 5.
  21. Have you considered divorce? faking illness? or trying to subtly stuff a satellite dish in the car?
  22. Good to see Walsh mentioned again, how he never played for England I'll never know.
