Hopefully Ruud can keep Bouba's mojo high. And also identify exactly the best position for him. As he's got ability, but it's about finding the right place for it. For me he's not a defensive mid, his qualities are further forward in the transition.

I was quite shocked how easily WH won every header and 50:50 in that first half. We seemed really out muscled and powder puff. I think the 2 in midfield will ultimately evolve to 3. Certainly against stronger teams.

A performance to evidence there is ability in him. The issue is unlocking it consistently. As he's not overly self motivated. As otherwise we'd have seen him shine a lot more often.

Don't know if anyone else heard the Townsend commentary through the game. But I swear he was basically suggesting the players need to bin off the shite tactics and play some footie. It was almost like Townsend could see how clueless our manager is!!
