  1. Don't knock your time, that's great! Keep going. Agree with above, empty yourself for a PB over the 5k. I always feel like I'm going to vomit at the end
  2. Happy to join the boycott on this one. No chance am I paying that.
  3. Alternative is in to town via Vicky Park and New Walk, pick up the canal near Frog Island or Abbey Park, back to Aylestone and home. Extension to Watermead first if you're feeling crazy!
  4. Hi, Mine was £1500 fitted including VAT and connection to solar panels. I feel like it was a slightly high price but was very happy with the service and after service help. In terms of car I have a 2020 Kia E-Niro bought in December 2022 at around 2 years old. I've taken it to Scotland, 2 weeks in Ireland, Lens away game and a Belgian trip. I can get about 250 miles in Summer and a bit less in Winter, absolutely love it. My wife likes the app that brings it to 24 degrees before you get in on a cold winter morning!!
  5. Victoria Park parkrun cancelled tomorrow due to ice on route.
  6. Hiya, you'll be absolutely fine. Most of the problems have been in the Soar Valley north of the city and in north of the county. And it's starting to improve.
  7. I think you've made a good point here and I thought his when I went to watch Harborough v Kettering, so much less passing around the defence. It's all about reducing risk and creating space which seems to have made the game less interesting to watch.
  8. I was there as a neutral today, first time I'd been to Harborough and impressed overall. It beats watching Leicester at the moment! The weather was Baltic though, couldn't feel my feet in the second half.
  9. Not so many at Victoria Park for parkrun this morning 🤣🤣. Absolutely foul weather for it but first 5k of the year is done ✅
  10. Would recommend "Homebaked" for a pre-match pie if you're a bit early, they do run out later
  11. Scalextric in about 1983, absolutely loved it!
  12. I finally tried Market Harborough parkrun this morning. It was a good morning for running, volunteers were great and well organised. Overall a bit disappointed by the course. A bit too tight paths with too many runners. I'll probably stick with the Leicester options in future.
  13. Regular view £30, restricted view£45!
  14. Agree, and even then it'll be a bunfight to avoid the restricted views.
  15. Its definitely OK to park by the recreation ground but fills quite early. Newsham Drive is an alternative, slightly longer walk though.
  16. Usually the Arkles for away fans
  17. Why you're such a Coote!
  18. Usually bottom tier, far right hand side . But lots of stewards there
  19. Aside from anything else, the whole pace of the game was horrendous. Ball out of play, players on the floor, ref being pendantic, slow goal kicks, slow corners. Was it just me? It was driving me mad today
  20. Yeah, I stood with him in a ticket queue once and he was telling us stories of Millwall away with all his tattoos. He had some brilliant stories, full of top banter.
  21. I managed 21.03 at Worcester this morning, pancake flat course. Well pleased, it's my 3rd fastest parkrun ever and fastest for ages.
  22. Great plan, go for it. I'm off to try Worcester Pitchcroft today as staying nearby. It's supposed to be fast, round the racecourse
  23. Thinking of doing a Mull and Skye holiday in July next year. Would consider other islands though. Any recommendations on best places to stay or active things to do?
  24. I'd be up for this too if a few of us do it. Normally do Vicky Park but been wanting to try Harborough.
  25. Sorry mate but it really sounds like the calibration of the treadmill is wrong.
