Sheffield United (A) - New Years Day 17:30
09bballer replied to Fox92's topic in Ticket News and Travel
I'd say most people stand in their allocated seat. But people are more chilled than home games if groups want to stand together or one person needs to tuck in etc. Stewards don't give a toss -
Same here. Not regretted it yet.

Over 800 there, the start was crazy with the sun directly in everyone's eyes. Slow first lap before it thinned out a bit, then the finish was crazy busy. All good, no one obsessed by a time on Xmas Day and all in good spirits. -

No, all jump on Cov so I can get a Wrexham ticket!!

Thanks, roads sound easier than the M6!👍🏼. I was wondering about driving all the way there in stages or all the way by train.

Has anyone done Norway by car or train? (Not by cruise). Any advice or recommendations?

I took out a cheapish gym membership to get the winter training in. PureGym where it's 24/7 worked for me, did some crazy late night/early morning stuff. -
Had the thali at Sharmilee recently for £9.95. Group of about 15 of us, can't sing its praises high enough. Solid 9/10 for me.

You can park after 6pm for free on some roads. Eg Marshall Street. Or you can use park and ride and get the tram in.

I don't feel one bit guilty. I'd ask if the club feels guilty for the cr*p they're serving up. Everton away sealed the decision for me last year. Pathetic. So far I've only done Huddersfield away which didn't really make me want to throw any more money at the club. Might do 2 or 3 more games this season.

I agree, Knightsbridge are good and proactive.

Millwall (A) - 3pm, Sat 25 October

I've been twice, 30 years apart!! It was so different last year in the cup. I also took my daughter and we were fine, we chose not to wear colours but had a good walk around the home end, saw the lion mural and actually had a chat with Millwall fans while eating. No issues, you'll be fine -
LIncoln is alright for a weekend. Easy enough by train from Leicester. Can do the Castle, Cathedral and a bit of shopping/pub meals. We did the International Bomber Command museum which was fascinating. I even managed to watch a game at Sincil Bank too.

I managed a 22.09 parkrun at Penrose near Helston while on holiday in Cornwall. It's a fast out and back route if anyone is down this way. All on tarmac and most of the way back is downhill. -
Sanskruti is child friendly and decent Indian restaurant. Western Approaches museum is interesting if you're into WWII stuff. But children would be better in World museum or Museum of Liverpool. Anfield or new Everton stadium tour.

I did my hottest parkrun ever, just took it very steady -

Vibe is chilled. Very good intro to live football I'd say. Weather will be warm. Most people do sit in the seats they've bought but easy to move into empty areas or alternative blocks, particularly at half time. -
I quite like the Erdinger zero.

I binned off parkrun this morning and started at 07:10 to beat the heat. I did an 18km loop including Kilby Bridge to Aylestone Meadows on the canal. That's a great bit of running route for those that don't know it. 18km in 1 hr 39min, happy with that in the warm weather. -

You can definitely walk a parkrun and I guarantee you won't be last. They nearly always have tail walkers who walk behind the last person. -
If you live in London the Kent coast would work unless you've already done it. What about Suffolk Aldeburgh or Southwold?

Had a brilliant Beef stew and Leffe at the Brasserie de la Gare just outside Brussels Midi last October.
