  1. The old “we used to be hard” gits throwing punches at youngsters is absolutely ridiculous. Who on earth do they think they are? Probably trying to re-live former “glories” by violence. They couldn’t verbally argue themselves out of a paper bag. The young ‘uns come off better here.
  2. How old are you?
  3. As in the moaners on FT? Careful, you’ll be accused of being a Happy Clapper and the cause of all the problems.
  4. This talk of people who buy STs lining Top’s pockets, is surely coming from people who just don’t understand the emotional and committed pull of supporting a football team. When I buy my ST.as I have for the past 40 years, my biggest thrill is knowing I have a ticket for every City home match. It’s my money I’m spending and my choice how I do. I don’t know who owns M and S, or Amazon or any other shop I use. If they sell what I want, I’ll buy it. I don’t go into the principles of the companies but respect anyone who does. I support LCFC both financially, spiritually and physically and am fed up being told my non supporters that I’m causing problems by doing so.
  5. All other teams that come to the KP, seem to have some sort of pattern to their game. They move as a unit , whereas we make a pass, (rarely forward), then stand still as though that’s our bit done. Other teams make their pass, then carry on running forward ready for possibly another pass or joining an attacking piece of play. Surely this is down to the coaching.
  6. Excuse my ignorance but what is the Tommy Robinson chant?Thankfully I haven’t heard it.
  7. Daka’s biggest contribution yesterday was to win a free kick in added time to give us possession. Never known any other player who can run around so much without getting near the ball. Will probably be brilliant at the AFCON!
  8. They are CITY supporters first and foremost. If King Power sold up, they would support whoever took over for whatever is best for LCFC. It seems to be a stick to beat the older fans by calling them Happy Clappers or KPFC supporters. They are loyal fans, who contrary to popular belief, do not attend matches out of habit. Some are quite infirm and struggle with mobility, but are willing to put up with health problems in order to follow the team they have supported for decades.
  9. They would have been there though, as the always are, supporting the City.
  10. If he’d scored 4 goals, we probably would have had 6 more points.
  11. Stopping the clock when play is stopped would give a more accurate time addition. Also, throw ins are taking longer than the 8 seconds the keepers are allowed, so should also be checked and penalised. 4 minutes was an absolute joke . Who actually decides on this time?
  12. KDH made Winks look better than he is by his superb box to box play in the championship. He plays the ball a few yards back to Faes, ad nauseum. On a few occasions yesterday he received the ball from Faes in space, but instead of turning and going forward, he played it back to Faes. Chance lost to progress.
  13. We are the most boring team in the league. The incessant useless passing between the CB s and FB is pointless. There’s usually about a dozen passes, with the defenders gradually moving nearer to the keeper, the ball is then played back to him who by now is under pressure, and hoofed upfield to no one in particular. Possession lost again. The tactics are non existent unless you count the above as a tactic. The manager seems to be the only person who cannot see that James is our strongest midfielder who should and can be the player driving forward and moving the attacks. So, where does he play? At no 10 where the ball rarely arrives and there’s little scope for moving the attacks. He’s a box to box player who is being limited to hoping that the ball at sone point, comes his way. I’m fed up watching teams attack us by simply playing direct football and we don’t seem to be aware that this is a good idea!
  14. Suspended
  15. Thankfully I can’t hear that one!
  16. I know that but it’s never been hit as loudly as it is now.
  17. I sit in SK2 and too often, the singing is drowned out by the incessant and far too loud drumming. I feel sorry for anyone sitting near the drum. Before I’m accused of being a killjoy, I always join in with the singing but find the drum far too loud
  18. Totally agree he needs to sell, but out of interest, what protests have you made at the matches? You tell everyone else what to do, just wondered what you were doing. Perhaps just not attending ? So easy to tell others what to do in the ground as it doesn’t affect you anyway.
  19. Not with Hoddle as manager. He stayed as we had a good side, regular trips to Wembley and European football. Not sure if playing abroad at that time, was beneficial for playing with England.
  20. The response when he signed was Mustafa Who?. Great player for us. Was top midfielder in the country, but Hoddle refused to pick him for England, bearing in mind he sold him and didn’t rate him. No judgement. Rare occasion of everyone loving a player. I went to a stadium tour a few years ago, after we’d won the league . Walshie and Elliott were the hosts. When asked who, if anyone from their era , would get in the league winning team, they both answered immediately, Muzzy. Everyone agreed.
  21. You obviously have a pathetic obsession about Vardy’s friendship with Top and Vichai. If someone has treated you very well for a number of years, and you consider them a friend, when matters that are out of your control occur, why do you suddenly have to turn on those people because of some perceived action of treachery. I find your posts quite offensive when you blame someone who did so much for our club, for the problems we have now. That is down in the main, to Top, Rudkin and Rodgers. Not Jamie Vardy. No doubt you will continue to bang on about it and spit your unfounded vitriol, ad nauseum. ?
  22. Why don’t all those who have declared their total disdain for City, and who are advocating a protest, rock up on Tuesday, and stage a sit-in on the pitch to make their point. They will be banned but it won’t matter as they don’t go anyway, but would have practised what they keep preaching.
  23. This exactly. We’ve gone from telling other fans that they should be boycotting matches, by fans who don’t attend anyway, to telling our Goat, who he should and shouldn’t be friends with. We have a worrying number of control freaks on here.
  24. The Tiki Taka football played by Barcelona and Pep’s early Man City, is nothing like what it has become over the last few years. In all honesty, Man City have become a very boring team to watch. Even their own fans have been encouraged by Pep to be more vocal. They’re probably chatting away in the stands whilst waiting for the team to reach the penalty area! The amount of goals given away by the passing about at the back with the keeper is ridiculous. I don’t think the idea is to keep giving it back to the keeper until he’s closed down and wacks it out for a throw in. I enjoy watching Bournemouth and Brentford far more than the so called big clubs. They play attacking exciting football. We are back to our centre backs having more of the ball than any other players. Surely you want your forwards in charge of pushing forward, not waiting for Vestegard to stop posing on the ball, then passing a short ball to someone who has to run back to get it, and whose only option, is then to play it back to Vestegard. Start all over again. I would be interested to know how much time we actually spend with the ball, in the opposition half.
