What Will You Miss From The Championship?
FoyleFox replied to Skidmark's topic in Leicester City Forum
Winning...quite a lot. Not having VAR Jobi MacAnuff (having an interested and informed pundit). Genuine surprise at some results. Not necessarily ours 🙄 -
Sounded absolutely fantastic on the tv. Looking forward to celebrating properly on Saturday.

I feel a lot better about wanting an Ipswich win than I did thinking about needing/wanting a Cov win. Come on the tractor boys!
-
Surely, we'll just have that Sam(some talent show contestant) lass who's local, save on the transport/accommodation costs.

Can we get some more cushions, I think it'll be busy again next season

The Capri was my favourite car as a youngster. I think they'd probably stopped making them by the time I could drive. Lovey car @Parafox My 30th birthday present to myself was a convertible MG. Eventually, I also had to swap to something more practical. The bloke at Audi said he'd never sold a TT to anyone because it was practical

I don't want to think about a Vardyless LCFC and I certainly don't want to talk about it. After he scored on Tuesday I did have a sudden thought that could be the last goal I see him score and his last but one game. Did anyone else notice it was dusty on Tuesday night 😢

I'd like Ipswich and West Brom. Don't mind if Southampton win the play offs. I just want us promoted and I'll accept anyone with us.

Any Tattle users here who can generate an invitation code?

Our stops in Madeira and Canaries were part of a transatlantic sailing so just passing by, all were in Oct or Nov though, and I don't recall any choppy seas. Hopefully you have a great time. I really enjoyed our UAE cruise from Dubai. I also loved Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand - although we weren't actually supposed to visit them, but it transpired an Asia cruise from Shanghai in February 2020 became, a bit, let's call it, awkward and the itinerary changed a bit I know cruising doesn't appeal to everyone, but I love waking up somewhere new each day, or just relaxing by the pool on other days. Plus, if you want lots to keep you busy, there are lots of activities and entertainment. Or, if you're me, you don't have to join in with anything at all.

I don't get the point either. Your post reminded me, a few seasons ago, April 2018 or 2019 I was unwell at a game and after half-time wasn't able to go back to my seat. I sat in the concourse area in the second half whilst trying to talk the steward looking after me out of calling an ambulance. I've never been in the concourse after the second half kicks off and there were so many people, just standing around having a chat and a pint. Why bother getting a ticket? If you just want to chat to your mates, there are better, cheaper places. And with decent beer.

That would've gone straight back in my world! Can't believe you wore it, today as well

They always let him score, they love him too

Hello. We're still here

I don't understand this either. I flatly refuse to go anywhere near shops or visit anywhere at the weekend or school holidays. I plan it all for days in the week. My parents, other family and the old people I know are all the same but when i was working Mon -Fri, shops etc were often full of mature people.

Or on crack?!

You're made to walk the plank... Different cruise lines have different rules, I've never sailed with P&O but Milo has you covered.

I'd say they've lowered it due to being keen to sell. And, unfortunately as you're not proceedable, they're looking at getting interest from as many possible people. You can obviously let the agents know that you are still interested but from the sellers point of view, they need a buyer in a position to proceed. Have you had much interest in yours?

It's genuinely a myth that cruises are for old people these days @FoxesDeb Unless it's a longer repositioning cruise. Our last was 28 nights and the demographic was mature! All of the cruises I've been on except 1, I've had a cabin at the front and always on a high deck. Alledgedly the worst position for motion. 99% of the time I've never felt the ship moving whilst in the cabin, in normal seas, usually its only the vibration of the engines when departing port. Lots of the bigger ships have stabilisers these days to reduce the effects of motion. Are you going on P&O Azura by any chance? Madiera is beautiful. You can walk from the dock to the town. The cable car up to the gardens at the top gives great views of the island. If you're brave, there's a wooden toboggan back down.

I'm so sorry for your loss and know that I have no words which will help, neither can I comprehend your pain. I can't believe those who should support you are causing additional distress. If there is someone who you can call upon to help with some of the unfortunate practical tasks it may help you to focus on you. I'm sure that no one thinks you're failing your daughter either. Grief is such a difficult and personal process. Thoughts with you x

I can only comment on my EV but in order to reverse, it's just a touch button with an R. The D button makes it go forward 😁
