If this happens along, with the horrendous decisions made by the club over the past two years, means we will be in championship for a fair few years to come. It'll have a negative impact on the squad, give other teams chasing us a lift and demoralise the fan base. It's starting to feel like the people in charge are no longer capable of doing the job.

Leicester 1-1 Ipswich Post Match Thread

So frustrating. Should have put that game to bed but allowed them to gain confidence. You can't sit on a one goal lead in the championship, it's too unpredictable. -
Not a straight red. But if you're giving the ref a chance to give a red, it your own fault. Just so unnecessary after taking the lead.

Loan until the end of the season. If he's any good, we can sign him when his contract expires. Although it's not a particularly overwhelming signing.

Ipswich (A) 1 - 1 - Boxing Day - Post-Match Thread

A pint away from home against our closest rivals. Frustrating in the way it happened, but it's a point closer to our target and slows a rival down. -
We need 14 wins from the next 23 games to hit 100 points. Even if we lose tonight, we're still 3 points clear and can easily win 14 out of the next 22. The pressure is all on them to keep ahead of the chasing pack.

They'll do a job on us like they did with Ipswich
-
We just don't attack enough. Really poor against the worst team in the league. With the quality we have, we should have destroyed them
-
4 points out of the last 12.

Complaicant and over confident.

I don't find our style of play defensive, but we do defend by keeping possession. I just think he needs a more attacking/creative number 8. Most of the time our lineup only includes 3 "attacking" players in the striker and two wingers. KDH and Ndidi have good engines and come up with the odd goal or assist, but having an effective attacking 8 would give us more sustained penetration. I think Casadei was brought in to do that, but he's not really clicked yet. Maybe Praet would offer a more forward thinking 8, but that's yet to be seen.
-
For most teams we play setting up with only 3 forward players will be enough, but against teams like last night, especially at home we need to attack more. Leeds setup with 2 wingers and 2 strikers away from home, we only had 1 striker and 2 wingers. If you neutralise out number 8s, then we're pretty easy to defend against
-
Also, it would be great to beat them purely to annoy the EFL social media team who seem to love Leeds (and Wrexham)
-
Pressure is all on them at this point, we can afford to drop points and still be in a comfortable position. They lose to us on Friday and the chances of them catching are pretty gone. They have hit a bit of form, but lost to stoke recently and they've only won 7 out of 14. We should be beating them.

Expertly done! knowing full well as soon as you post it the opposite will happen! (but to be fair, he's been taken straight off!)

Travel disruption - trains, planes, automobiles and parking

There were also lanes closed off for joining the motorway at fosse park, despite no work taking place, not even a single van! they could have quite easily waited until the traffic had cleared before causing gridlock. -
Left-footed centre back, and a right-footed right winger for competition, we played 3 different players there on Wednesday. Shift out the likes of Daka, Ward and Iversen. But if we are still top of the league we need to be trying to sign premier league level players as a championship club so we don;t end up with them on the books for 4 years, but not good enough. I imagine this will be a challenge unless we're well clear at the top, so loans might be the best option.
-
No surprise that we lost, but lead for half the game. Plus we don't have to worry about the cup anymore

It's utter shite, especially considering they charge for it -
50% - 50% draw. No idea on the number of goals.

I think loans still have to be registered even if they are under 21, which means Doyle, casadei and Fatawu count towards the 25

I think if we get to October and the system isn't looking like we're improving then we can worry. At the moment it's a new system, new players and a new manager so it will take time. Hull weren't better than us yesterday, they defended well and scored a goal doing what we should have done more of. They had possession at the back and quickly got it to their wide player in space. There were lots of times where Doyle or Faes had the ball yesterday and the opposite winger was in acres of space, but it then goes through the other two centre backs and the Hull block moved across to cover. If we could switch the play a bit quicker that would stretch teams more and free up space for the number 8s. Having Ricardo come inside every time makes it easier for the opposition to press. It might be worth him staying wide on occasions to overload the wide area.
-
Slow, ponderous and predictable. Hull didn't deserve the win, but we made it easy for them. It always seems like we're narrowing the play before we try and get out to the winger, and by that time it's too late.

Surely just waiting for Daka to be confirmed before we complete this one
