Oh, it's a watch. I don't remember putting that on

Two relegations in one season, 3 in 2. Outstanding work from the director of football. Deserves another promotion in my opinion.
-
Cancelled my renewal. I'm not signing up for one until there is a major change that shows that the leaders of the club know what they are doing. Plus, it's not going to be difficult to get tickets for a few years, so I don't see the need for having a guaranteed ticket anymore.

Rudkin will never have heard of him, and it wouldn't be glamorous enough for Top, but Dave Challinor has taken Stockport to the League One play-offs, having joined them in the National League. They'd been out of the league for 11 years, and he might even get them promoted 3 times in 5 seasons. But if he does, he'd be taking a step down to join us!

It won't be Fuchs. He is popular with the fans and a link back to when times were good. This regime does not employ people who will be popular with the fans or call them out. They have gradually removed staff and players who do this, such as Morgan, Kasper, and Vardy. It's no coincidence that this team has no fight or leadership. It's what Rudkin wants, so no one challenges him.

How do we resolve the fan divide issue
StonyFox replied to Jabbaranks's topic in Leicester City Forum
There will be some, like the "what does booing achieve, support the lads" group who will never call for change and are happy to detach their experience from the running of the club. They will go to games, clap the players no matter what because "thats just football". And I think the more others boo and protest, the more that group will clap. Winks told a fan to **** off the other, and when he came to take a corner near SK1 he was booed, but it made this group clap more than they would have done. I've thought about making a little one page infogram thing listing all the recent issues to post in response to these people, listing things like the number of managers, £ms lost on contracts running down, size of wage budget, time taken to find new managers, the huge financial losses, players signed and never used, etc. but I just don't think it would register with them. We'll be divided until the leadership sorts thier **** out, or we're sold. Both a worringly unlikely. -
They are not going to have a clue who to appoint. This is going to take months. Bournemouth already have their new manager even before Iraola has left, but despite relegation being a possibility for months I bet they don't even have a shortlist of potential managers
-
Shall we start taking bets on how many days before the first game of the season we appoint a new manager? My money is on 8
-
They'll do a lap and clap the fans, and most of the fans will clap back at them because "We've been in league one before", "this is our level", "we're a yo-yo club", "look at what king power have done in the community", "remember where we were before king power", etc. etc.

It doesn't matter if we get relegated or not, I'm not renewing for the first time in maybe 15 years. I have better things to do than support KPFC these days, and if I ever did want to go, tickets will be available. There's not going to be a sellout at the walkers for a very long time.

It wouldn't surprise me if he's been told he has to play a certain formation or system because Top once watched a Man City game, and that's how they played. I think the players are down to the manager, but we have such a badly built squad that there just aren't any good options. He only has the choice between Daka and Ayew upfront, and that's on Rudkin and recruitment.
-
So the organisation changes, but the people stay the same. Isn't there a saying "An organisation is only as good as it's people"? Maybe someone should tell Top! There is also a glaring omission of any mention of past mistakes or lessons learned. And yet I'm still seeing comments on other platforms along the lines of "good news, lets hope the players react to this and start performing". I despair!
-
I think we need to get to 50 points to have a chance of staying up, that's 16 points from these 11 matches. Only 5 of those are in the bottom half, with a lot of them chasing play-offs. Other than Wednesday all of them are fighting for promotion or survival, and our team have no fight in them. I'm struggling to see where we can get enough wins to get that many points! Away - Ipswich Home - Bristol City Home - QPR Away - Watford Home - PNE Away - Sheff Wed Home - Swansea Away - Portsmouth Home - Hull Home - Millwall Away - Blackburn

Not renewing my season ticket: I cannot be only one
StonyFox replied to LinekersLugs's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think I'm going to give mine up after this season, got my first one in 94/95. The joy of going has just been stripped away over the past couple of seasons, and it's slipped down the priorities of things I went to spend my free time doing. I've only been to about 5 games this season, and if I didn't have a season ticket, I wouldn't have had any issues getting individual tickets. It's going to take a few years and a change of ownership before we get to a position where games sell out quickly, so having a season ticket I barely use is a waste of money. -
Even without the points deduction we'd stuggle. With the deduction, we need 7 wins out of 14 to get 21 points!
-
We've taken 14 points from the last 14 games, but we're in the worst form of our season at the moment (7 points from the last 10 games, 1 from the last 6). So, unless there is a major shift in the momentum of the team, I can't see us getting anywhere near 18 points from 14 games! Looking at all the different stats available for attacking and defending, we haven't been unlucky or performing well and not getting results, so we aren't going to suddenly outscore opponents or start keeping clean sheets.
-
I've said no, although I'm not 100% no. But I'm going to find it hard to want to pay money into the club based on how it is being run. I've barely been to any games this season, mainly because I'm not moving other things in my life around so I can go.
-
Donated as I'm saving plenty of money not going to the stadium this season. (I think I'm going to stop referring to it as the "king power" stadium)

LCFC 3-4 Southampton, post-match thread
StonyFox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
****ing shit ***** -
And now they're running us into the ground.

Even if we get 40m, there's no one in place to spend it wisely and we're not going to have a manager in to buy players for their philosophy

Realistic Managerial Replacements
StonyFox replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Even without Pearson, look at those players. All professional and nearly all of them are better captain material than anyone in our current squad. Huth and Wasyl could take on our entire squad on their own and win without a scratch! -
Marti's gone, what happens to January recruitment?
StonyFox replied to Nalis's topic in Leicester City Forum
There will be no January business, they'll use the fact we have no manager as an excuse -
They won't do anything whilst the transfer window is still open, as they don't want to allow a new manager to come in asking for players. They'll also not sign anyone in the window as they aren't confident in the manager. They'll finally sack him some time in February and give it to Andy King for the rest of the season Then there will be the continuous radio silence over the summer not appointing a new manager to reduce the opportunity for them to want to sign players. Then they'll appoint a new underwhelming manager a week or two before the season starts so the manager has time to work with the squad, but not time to request transfers to improve the squad. The team will be under prepared, lacking fitness, and struggle again. Then repeat the process. So they will basically delay every decision they make to reduce the opportunity for any manager to ask for new players at the expense of the team performances.
