Spurs first choice keeper out, so just signed another keeper. Considering our defence is atrocious, how have we not got anything lined up.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

If he has any self respect he wouldn't want to be associated with this shambles of a club. He'd get another job, probably more easily than if he stayed and went down with this squad. -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

You can't survive in the premier league without a squad of premier league players, and we just haven't got that. If we don't bring in three players this window that go into the first 11, Ruud should walk and I wouldn't blame him. -
Lack of quality all over the pitch, and the worrying thing is we don't seem close to changing that. New blood needed before QPR game and two huge home league games
-
He's been linked to West ham and Ipswich already, feels like an agent trying to get them to speed up
-
Deserved a point today, played well just lacked that cutting edge. Two new wingers and two new defenders needed in January
-
We got a higher xg against a full strength Liverpool than Ipswich did against arsenal without saka. They also had a higher xg against. They might have looked good at points, but achieved very little
-
Shows flashes of being good enough, got the assist for the goal. But doesn't carry a consistent threat and gave the ball away a lot. Other problems in the squad, but it would be nice to have another winger to compete with him.
-
Shame to concede just before halftime, but I'd have taken 1-1 at halftime against comfortably the best team in the league this season

It will happen eventually, the people involved aren't used to taking no for an answer so they'll keep pushing, throwing money at it, and paying off whoever they need to. It's happened in other sports already. For the likes of us and other major European leagues it will be bad. But for supporters from everywhere else it will be seen as good. The markets around the world want to see Ryan Reynolds Wrexham playing Leo Messi's Inter Miami, not Palace versus Brentford. It will all become about brand and celebrity, with no relegation, and fans who will support the spectacle rather than a team.

That's kind of why I think having an 8 playing slightly deeper than a 10 would give us more in central midfield when out of possession, and reduce the ease in which teams can play through us, and may also help with deeper creativity as none of our 6s are particularly creative. Creativity may improve when winks is back. A better 6 (and back 4) would be great, but I imagine the club would be reluctant to invest more in that position.
-
A number 8, KDH or similar. We have about 6 players who can play the number 6 position, 3 than can play 10, but nothing in between for a 433
-
Home games against the current bottom 4 Ruud We may only need 7 wins (and a couple of draws)
-
He's still only 21, one of the youngest players in the squad, and in a position that requires a lot of discipline. I think he's doing well, and will hopefully kick on with Ruud and improve even more.

It's the socks

Should have checked Armstrong first, he was clearly off. Would have saved about 3 minutes.

I don't think we're entitled, as we've outperformed nearly every other team in the country bar the top few over the past decade. But the media forget all that and only refer to the "miracle season". Just look at Forest fans for entitlement thinking they should be a prem side, just because they were good nearly half a century ago. Which the media very much goes along with!
-
He won't be getting the boot but should be. He's director of football at us and OHL and both teams have sacked their manager, that he recruited, in the past 5 days. If that doesn't get him sacked, nothing will
-
Wrong mentality from the start, just sitting back and waiting for things to happen rather than trying to play our game (whatever that is). Being pragmatic is fine, but this is not being pragmatic, it's just waiting for the opposition to have a lull and then just randomly attacking for about 5 minutes. We had 3 centre midfielders to their 2 and yet we were always outnumbered. Scoreline flattered us, which has been the case in quite a few games this season. Time for a change. Other teams around us are improving, we're going backwards
-
-
Lots of falling over, "injuries" and time wasting. I doubt the ball has been in play for more than 60 minutes.
-
Whilst he's keeping us out of the bottom 3, he's not going anywhere.

Jordan Ayew Signs 2 year deal - Official

Should be coming on in game like this for the last 20 to slow things down and win free kicks. For me he doesn't provide enough of an attacking threat to warrant a starting place. I think the only reason he's good at winning fouls is because he can't be bothered to run with the ball. -

Offers absolutely nothing.
