Got the s23 ultra and it's just a bit meh. Reckon my next one will be one of the big fold series, at least it offers something different.

Carter completely lost his head.

That's ridiculous from Willian tbf.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-67920145 This whole justice comes swift because of a tv drama series about it grinds my gears. It's a sodding disgrace that it's taken this long and instead of talking about stripping the people responsible of honours we should be talking about slamming them in jail. People lost lives and livelihoods over this mess.

Will all come down to how the economy is doing over the next year. If it remains flat lined or even blips into recession then the BoE will have no choice but to slash interest rates quickly and hope that the greedy ****ers fueling inflation stop taking the piss. Backed themselves into a pretty shit corner by targeting interest rates instead of telling the government outright that they needed to do something about rocketing fuel and energy prices, the main drivers, or excuses, of inflation.

Looking like mine has timed itself quite well, luckily. Mine is due to renew in November. Wasn't looking forward to a £300/month increase tbh

Got a family member going through some serious legal trouble which is likely to last most of the next year at least, baby number 2 is officially on the way (yes, we actually know about it this time ) and my mum is being warned by the doctors if she doesn't reduce her stress levels she'll likely have a heart attack. So with that trifecta of craziness, an odd resolution to keep my head through this next year and have the strength to support all the people who will need me to be strong and see them all through this.

Merry Christmas all

Easy as that huh? Here's a bit from the octopus site that may have been missed. After leaving, you'll need to wait 9 months before switching back to Tracker

The catch seems to be when the next "crisis" hits you have zero protection from rises and they'll rinse you for everything you've got.

8 ball pool cues are smaller than their snooker cue counterparts. And both in turn are smaller than their plastic chonker murican counterparts. 8 ball size will give you more control over the white, however, if you are a novice/rusty starting with a snooker cue can be beneficial as you'll be less likely to miscue the ball.

Wouldn't have a problem eating lab grown meat or insects if it tasted okay and was cheap tbh. Most of this fake meat stuff around atm isn't too bad, but when it's priced higher than what it's supposed to be replacing then you're not gonna have much luck. I'm sure the world is smart enough to come up with better options eventually though.

William Hill have a special on today. A shot on target in the Newcastle v utd match. Max bet a fiver, but practically a free fiver unless it's the shittest game of football ever seen.

Pretty impossible situation for everyone tbh. Currently going through similar, one of my family members has been (wrongly) accused of something and been charged after some 10 months of "investigating". Now he has to spend thousands of pounds, several days in court and the emotional stress of dealing with all this crap over the next year or so because of an accusation that is not only outlandish, it's completely mathematically impossible. I can't imagine it being any worse, but I guess if he was forced to not work that would make it so. Only have to look at Mendy from man City. How long was he going through all that? 2 years or so? And then found not guilty. Innocent until proven guilty should count for everyone, even footballers. Imo the main argument for protecting women should be that the courts, police etc etc take far longer than is needed. More resources needed, not sacking people based on accusations.

Ridiculous goal. Bloody hell.

Really enjoyed it. I was honestly sceptical on whether they could pull off a real life version but they've come up with some great twists.

OpenAI co-founder Sam Altman will return as boss just days after he was fired by the board, the firm has said. The agreement "in principle" involves a new board members being appointed, the tech company added. And the world made sense again. Good job OpenAI employees, that board of donkeys owes you more than they know. And undoubtedly that means Microsoft get a seat at the table to hopefully curb their donkeyness in the future.
-
It just all seems so odd. If the man has done something bad enough to get the sack, they need to come out and say it. You don't dismiss a leading man in AI from an AI company without good cause and then just stay silent.
-
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-67470876 The plot thickens. Staff at OpenAI have called on the board of the company to resign after the shock dismissal of former boss Sam Altman. In a letter, they question the board's competence, and accuse it of undermining the firm's work. They also demand Mr Altman's reinstatement. Bring back the boss or Microsoft has a ready built AI department instead of funding middlemen.
-
Meanwhile.. Sam Altman is joining Microsoft, the tech-giant has announced, ending speculation he might return to OpenAI just 48 hours after his chaotic ousting. Less than 48 hours later one of the biggest tech firms on the planet snatches the old ceo up.

The new guy is twitch's ex boss. Guy built a video game platform without any competitors and it grew to such heights in spite of him and not because of him. Completely out of touch with content creators and users. If he carries on the lalala attitude when AI is set to have investments and competition from all over, he'll be bad for OpenAI, really bad.
-
OpenAI is reportedly set to name Emmett Shear as its interim chief executive just 48 hours after the chaotic firing of boss and co-founder, Sam Altman. How tf is that even possible?

I bought one of the fire tablets on sale a couple of years back for my nephew to watch youtube on, good enough for that, but anything else I'd avoid, the fireOS is garbage and full of amazon bloatware, if you want it for android use i'd go for the acer or lenovo ones, more expensive but will be better overall. -
So do dogs. Watched one tear apart a duck at watermead not 3 weeks ago.

Probably because they are most likely to reflect the shiteness of their owner and there's enough shitty people in the UK to equal enough shitty dogs. That and y'know the occasional mauling people to death. Cats >
