  1. Acts or Regulations? That’s a mad amount if it’s Acts.
  2. 😳
  3. Lobster and crab risotto. Yes, it looks like something the cat sicked up, but was fcking delicious
  4. That was great - hopes weren’t too high, tbh, after the last couple of days. But really entertaining race
  5. 🤫 Don’t tell anyone…
  6. A bloke punched my car whilst I was on my way home yesterday He was walking in the road amongst slow moving traffic, clearly the worse for wear on something and looked like he was agitating for a fight. Most cars swerved around him, I chose not to and he punched my drivers side window - quite hard I noticed a bloody, fist-sized smear on it when I got home Strange
  7. 2 episodes in of Brawn: The impossible F1story. Really good so far - excellent insight into the workings of F1 and the FIA. Take aways so far…Loving the politics of it all. A bit weird that Keanu Reeves made it. Bernie is a cvnt.
  8. Fckn pot holes 🙄
  9. I’ve just told them I’m booking my own recovery and will bill them. 5 and half hours after reporting the breakdown they are still trying to ‘locate a resource’ Just been told someone will be with me at 9. (but I was told someone would be with me at 3.30, 5.00, 6.35 and 8.05…so my hopes aren’t high). Twats
  10. Not good waiting over 5 hours for AA to recover me and my car back home. They’ve cancelled pick ups twice, without telling me. I only found out when I called them both times after the scheduled pick up time.
  11. Or you could just get a job on a ship and do a few of them whilst getting paid!
  12. What are Wolves fans chanting - “Premier League….” I assume something about being corrupt
  13. 960 mile journey, you say? Problem sorted, say I. There and back by elevenses The UK wants another crack at the world land speed record and needs a driver for its Bloodhound supersonic car. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-67349595
  14. Or better half?
  15. I had this as well... Good work!
  16. I don’t think it’s that uncommon, tbh. I’m the same - I’ve not used an alarm for years. (Very occasionally I might set it, but I’ll wake up anyway 10 minutes or so before it goes off).
  17. I was sat behind a similar thing yesterday - a Renault Twizzle (Twizzy)? Looks terrifying
  18. Yep - it’s definitely the biggest issue as to whether you should come on over to the dark side or not. I do about 9-10k a year - mostly shortish journeys so it worked out for me. But obviously it won’t for everyone. I’ve got a 350 mile round trip scheduled for later this month, and I’m already not looking forward to the faff, time and inconvenience of having to charge half way. But that’s quite an unusual journey for me. My brother in law recently did a Europe trip in his EV - no issues, just planned the stops.
  19. I’m 6 months in to my EV experience. I was pretty sceptical to start with, but the reality is that I'm saving bundles. My 6 monthly total from home charging is £146, with a few public top up sessions to add to that. In comparison, I was spending around £90 plus per month on filling up my old car. (I’m also saving a fair chunk on road tax/ULEZ/congestion/insurance and monthly payments). So, whilst I don’t love my EV as much as I did my old car, I can’t argue with the finances of it.
  20. Jackson has to be the worst player ever to score a PL hat trick
  21. Think it was still called Wembley, mate
  22. I refused the insurers first payout offer for my car when it was stolen. A bit of back and forth but they upped the amount to an acceptable point. From memory, I went through my insurance's (AA) complaints procedure. You’ve always got the ombudsman to go to (or at least to threaten your insurance company with). Good luck!
  23. But fvcking toothless…
