Its Rudkin who's in charge of salary negotiations, not Top. The fact Top is an ostrich and demands zero accountability from Rudkin is the other major problem.

Got the win, which is obviously important, but the performance for 80% of the game was rubbish. Slow turgid passing, isolated wingers and generally shit tactics, with Ayew and Skipp still getting picked. Marti may have survived this week, but I've got little confidence in him.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

We've rarely seen him in that no10 role, but today he looked great linking up play, as well as scoring. The issue is Marti, because he has this bizarre affinity for Ayew and Skipp. -
I'm blaming Seagrave
-
Some people are so desperate, even that is seen as a positive.
-
Put him and us out our misery, sack him.
-
This is why I have no sympathy for Marti, he continues to play Skipp.
-
Regardless of our players Marti doesn't help himself with some strange selection and tactics. Against Boro he was playing Okoli as a hybrid RCB/RB who was trying to help Fatawu in attack. When you know the weakness of a player is on the ball, why are you giving him that role. It would've made more sense to have Nelson in that position and Okoli on the left, where Nelson was playing purely as a CB. He plays Skipp, for what reason, he's never going to get better. When Enzo pushed Ndidi forward, he had a clear role of making inside runs for Fatawu. That's why he was pretty successful, whereas JJ is pushed forward but we dont see the same kind of direction from Marti. The one area he cannot improve is the strikers, but everywhere else he can certainly do better.

If we dont buy any players & make JJs loan permanent. (Presume Fatawu leaves) Stol Nelson Soutter Okoli Cover Hamza Braybrooke JJ Aluko Alves Evans Monga Or Stol Aluko Nelson Okoli Thomas Cartwright JJ Bobby Alves Monga Evans

The only argument I can make for Marti is, I'd rather have him over Russell Martin.

Kasey McAteer sold to Ipswich - Official

I think we'd have more luck trying to off load Skipp to Ipswich's neighbours, Norwich. Skipp had a good season there, and memories of that might mean we can pick up 5-10M for him. -
No issue with the result, we were terrible and the game management was atrocious. I feel for the defence, wave after wave of pressure, because the midfield and attackers couldn't string 2 passes together. I'm glad Nelson proved what we all knew, but let's see if Marti picks him again.
-
With all the things wrong with the club, the recruitment team get an easy ride. They gave us Skipp last season and Carranza now. What do these people analyse and scout.
-
Yeah was rooted to the spot for all their corners as well. Considering hes 6'7 and played 100s of games, you'd think he'd be more confident dealing with crosses.
-
we also paid 2 lots of compo to get rid of Cooper and RvN.
-
He's the new Ian Holloway, taking us down to L1.
-
Concede a last second goal to a guy that hasn't scored for 2yrs.
-
Scary part, this is his best performance.
-
Fuch me, missed that. Rubbing our nose in 💩
-
Clueless. There's so much wrong with that team. I'm just glad I've decided not to go

Leicester v Middlesboro - Tuesday 4th November

I dont think they give a fuch about us. Mavididi came out on the weekend yawning, like he'd just woken up. What kind of message does that send to the fans and the opposition. -
Talent has to be awarded financially or they'll go where it is. Vardy demonstrated that he was worthy of a fat pay packet and even in his last season, with a dire team, he got double digit goals. The problem is when you award mediocrity, weekly wages of 90k for Winks, 80k for Coady & Bertrand, +70k for Soumare and Daka, +60k for Vesty, Faes & Skipp. The list goes on. When you give such inflated salaries to mediocre players with zero loyalty, they'll leave you in a heartbeat, if they could get the same amount elsewhere. The fact non of them can, is why we're lumbered with them. They show no fight because they dont want to be here, and that's the crux of our problems, not Vardy.
-
Marti will only play the youngsters when he's desperate. He's getting to that point now, with us on a losing streak and several managers getting sacked. That's why I think we'll see a few academy lads coming in to the team, subs or starting.

Just checked his Wiki page to see what he'd done before QPR. The answer, absolutely nothing, and that's in Scandinavian football. No wonder he paid to come here, he probably couldn't believe his luck.
