Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
sm1 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Absolutely. All this talk of no manager keeping us up is rubbish. Dyche 17pts in 18 games, scoring 15goals. Moyes same players, same team, 13pts in 7 games, scoring 12goals. We probably only need 32/33pts to beat relegation, a competent manager could've achieved that. -
He doesn't have the energy to go up and down all game long. You can see him visibly tire through the 2nd half most games, and not track his man. He probably needs to work more on his fitness or be more selective in when he goes forward.

We never created anything apart from 1 half chance for Ndidi. Bobby and Ndidi had 2 shots from distant to pad the stats. Winks is useless, we need to bring Facundo back into the team if we want to create any chances. -
Winks I'd leave out and play Bilal on the LW, with Facundo as a CAM. Soumare Ndidi CMs. We can alternate between Vardy and Daka, both are getting zero chances atm.

Ruud has to be braver and play Facundo and Bilal together. They are our creative engine.

Ndidi transforms the team

How long have we been on a downward trajectory?

Same here. My son was saying Rodgers needed to go long before that game, but after that performance, I had to agree. It was a harbinger for what was to come. -
I take your point with Facundo, but the only person that's ruined Winks is himself. Pining after Enzo like some love sick puppy. He's a yo yo player, too good for the Championship, but shit in the PL.

He was fine yesterday, pressed high up, got behind the utd defence the one time the ball is played early to him, setting up a chance for Ayew. It doesn't matter who plays up front in this team, our build up is so slow, opposition defences are well set when we eventually go forward. Utd were very poor, acres of space everywhere, yet did we try to exploit it, no we just fuch around and let them get into shape.

Like a little boy trying to play men's football.

Winks is like a boy trying to play men's football.
-
Hilarious, he pushes Faes out the way to get to Hojland
-
What's the point of Ayew, Fuchin useless

Poor Ruud, came all bright eyed and bushy tailed, with grand plans. A few months later, he looks like he's aged 10yrs and now just putting his head down and taking his wage.
-
If Ruud didnt trust any of our youngsters against QPR, no chance Monga gets even on the bench against Utd.
-
Too busy mucking out in Top's stables to bother with a small thing like a transfer window.
-
One of Ruuds biggest mistakes, not playing Facundo and Bilal together.
-
Since he signed that new longterm 325K/week contract, Rashford cant be bothered. He knows he's sorted into his 30s.
-
Pep has got most footballing decisions right in his career, but playing Nunes as a majeshift RB isn't one of them.
-
If two out of work managers like Potter and Moyes didn't want to come here, Frank definitely wouldn't.

Ayew and Daka MotM. Must've been watching Liverpool and just took a glance at our game. -

That's the most disappointing part, alot of our wounds are self inflicted. Ruud insists on playing Ayew, pushing JJ high up leaving acres of space behind him that no one covers, and a high defensive line with snail like defenders. Not too mention refusing to play Bilal and Facundo, our 2 most creative players, together. If we're going down atleast put up a fight, Everton just played 3 long balls, scored 3 goals, game over.
