Chelsea have had plenty of chances, Kasper having a great game and Chelsea missing sitters.

Alot of talk about there being no creativity in our midfield, but what do you expect with Cooper playing a combo of Ndidi, Hamza, Winks and Soumare. Our creative players like Alves and Golding are getting a few minutes per game. Cooper needs to give these guys 60mins regularly to see if they can offer anything. I'm not sure why we keep persisting with Soumare, he's just not good enough.
-
That didnt take long. I wonder if he's going to threaten to leave, if Chelsea fans don't like his style.

I think we get too obsessive about size in England. I remember seeing David Silva and being amazed at how tiny he looked, like a 15yr old. Even the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Bernado Silva are like 5'7" and built like weeds. What Alves needs, is to play some 1st team football, which should be doable in the CAM role.
-
We've offered the most money, an amount Roma are un willing to match. If Soule wants to come here, it would be a pretty easy deal to get done. He wants to go to Roma but Juve would rather sell to the highest bidder. Completely understandable from both sides, but we need to think about ourselves. The season starts in a few weeks and this is a critical position for us. We cant let it drag on for another 3-4 weeks.

Southgate steps down as England manager

Comes across as a good guy, but the football in this tournament was atrocious. We played most matches with 10 men because he refused to drop Kane. Ultimately I think the players didn't really react to him anymore, there's reports that Jude was lambasting him on the touchline, during a break in the 2nd half. -
Well he should've freshened the team up then. Kane's been a passenger for 99% of the tournament, yet Watkins and Toney have barely had a look in. Shaw hadn't played a game since Feb and was injured, yet was our only LB. Guys like Palmer and Gordon have hardly played. Southgate picked the team and the squad, the buck stops with him. I know its fantasy, but some people mentioned Klopp. If he took the England job we're winning major tournaments.
-
In theory he should be more effective in the PL, considering nobody is going to defend with a low block and 10 men behind the ball. Cooper's counterattack should suit him perfectly, the issue is can he learn to finish. Those 4 goals he scored against Moscow, I dont think he would've scored even one of those last season. His confidence is at rock bottom.

He doesn't have any game awareness. By the time he spots danger it's too late, and he doesn't have the pace to get back, thereby giving the impression he's lazy. He's not, he's just not good enough. Sell him and take the loss.
-
Ridiculous, I hope this doesn't turn out to be another Bertrand situation.
-
Wish him the best, it's certainly a step up. Hopefully he has the impact of Kante and not Drinkwater.

Catches win matches and that one got India the cup. If that had gone for 6, Miller would've seen SA home. -
Group E: Belgium, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine

Bar a few games, the tournament has been pretty disappointing. People moan about England, but the football in general has been mind numbing. Most players look visibly tired. -
Group C: Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia, England

As someone once said, it's better to be a lucky manager then a good one and Southgate epitomizes that. If he moves back to club management, everyone will get to see how shit he is. -
35 pts would see us beat relegation 9 out of the last 10 seasons. With the same pts deduction as Everton, we'd need about 43pts. If we get less, we could get by with 40/41pts. Highly doable, considering Cooper got 38pts in his 1st season with Forest and its basket case owner.
-
I really hope so. Criticism regarding ability is one thing, but I've heard so much rubbish spoken/written about him, just based on his looks. Completely unnecessary.
-
Most thought CAM was his best position, but it seems Ayoze was always a left winger. I'm pleased for him. When he was here and talked about playing for Spain, I nearly fell over laughing, but seems he had it in him.

VK let himself down, dozing at the back. If he thought the Euros were his shop window to get a move, he's fuched that up. He's stuck here now after that performance. England lucky to get away with a draw.
-
I think it's the best we could've hoped for. We're still got issues with FFP so can't spend money, and we'll get a hefty points deduction. Personally I think we're more likely to stay in the PL with Cooper then Enzo. He'll have a simple game plan all the players can play.
-
I think Top's priorities have changed massively in the last few years. He's married, may start a family soon and I think football as a whole, and lcfc in particular, hasn't got the same importance in his life. I've just had the feeling the club will be sold, partly or in full, sooner or later. Up until then, we're just sleepwalking.
-
Dreadful transfer that will spend years on loan and then leave for free, like Slimani and Silva. Turks will try to have our pants down as usual.
-
Loved him when he was on loan here and was gutted when he left. Excellent player and by all accounts, an absolutely gem of a human being. RIP Kevin 💔

Find it amazing, that some people think he has no responsibility at the club and all decisions are made by others. We must be the only club where the DoF is a honorary title.
-
Very true. In Enzo's system the full backs either play as a CM or a CB. He gave it a good crack at CB and in the end displaced Doyle for that role. But in reality he's a FB, and he's fine if used in that role.
-
Never seen such a morose character. Even when we're scoring goals and playing well, he's sitting next to Top looking like he's being put through torture. And when it comes to player recruitment and negotiations, I don't think Top is ordering Rudkin to pay stupid wages or not sell fringe players, that's his remit. Unfortunately even though he's had a huge role to play in our demise, he seems above all responsibility or criticism.
