I tuned into the Final Whistle podcast and listened to Stringer's comments. There is no doubt that every fan has a lot of respect and give credit for KP being at the helm when we were winning trophies and had our European nights but Stringer criticises the fans for how they are now voicing their discontent. If it's not chants and banners, how else do we do it? A handwritten letter to Top? I think much of the frustration comes from the silence. The fans get absolutely nothing. What statements have there been? A very occasional sentence or two in the match day programme written by the Intern and a few woolly paragraphs on the OS trying to wildly justify **** ups like shirt sponsors and PSR.

This always amuses me. Where are these 'positive' comments? Responses to official posts always seem to be pretty disparaging.

I don't think he can stay in post. He is not a better option than us bringing someone else in early in the summer as the simple fact is that we'll be starting the season with zero confidence. We lose the first game and that's it he'll be hounded out. We'll inevitably keep him on for a dozen games, get rid and then the new manager 'not having his own players'. We need to start a fresh, at the very least to cut the new guy some slack at the very start of the season.

I disagree with the KP out banner - as others have said, the response will simply be "you ungrateful b*stards, you've had a premier league and FA cup". Premier ambitions much more relevant and meaningful
