My God! The shed thread about which is the best shed has gone. What complete bastard would delete the shed thread? It must have been something like fifteen years old, it had so much to live for. Now, nothing.

We had a marvellous close season thread here once about sheds. I’m all misty eyed just thinking about it. They were good days. You’re thinking of @Raj I work on the Wurlitzer, making the chairs spin round really fast for teenage girls for no clear reason - and we wasn’t in your town, if the coppers are reading, that was another crew. We was in, err, Louffbro. Nah mate, it’s that Raj you’re thinking of, he’s a proper wrong’un. He glues those ducks y’knaaa. Glues ‘em and makes the sticks too short like. That’s why we call him Dave the Duc…oh, hang on, no you’re right, that is me.

He’s coming to the Poppies first. He is quoted as saying that the Southern League Premier Division Central provides managers with the toughest challenge they’ll ever face and fancies putting himself up to the task. The fact that I’ve seen him in our One Stop buying a discounted Pot Noodle just strengthens the rumour.

Tell me you’re not of the short persuasion and ginger. This could be awkward.

“Get off in Kettering” is our slogan. It’s a way of anticipating people calling the town a pile of wank.

The traditional Trust membership is strong in this thread. I wonder if some of you have ever been to a football match?
-
Never underestimate the stupidity of FT members. I did and my thread became a disaster by the second post. Closed threads with a one option poll is the only way.

Starmer has a season ticket for Arsenal, he’s held one for as long as forever and sits with school mates - who he plays five aside with every week. You’ll not find a more informed or enthusiastic football fan in parliament - he lives and breathes the sport. Sunak is a bandwagon jumping **** who wouldn’t know a Matt Le Tissier from a Mick Channon.

I don’t even care. I fvcking hate the professional game now.

I don't go cycling at the moment, so...

It'd make more sense to have a tournament that is open to all players and brings it into the modern era. So, something like a Jeux San Frontiers - where players compete for a thick brown envelope, chase a 15yr old girl into a hotel room, or battle with journalists to keep a story out of a newspaper. That's what primetime audiences want.

The sooner Gebeebies is driven into the history books the better.

Safe standing - time to act
Daggers replied to Safe Standing Roadshow's topic in Leicester City Forum
It's absolutely impossible to implement safe standing because we've got season ticket holders who have sat in their seats for decades and will never be mov... Oh... -
That’s my advice, talk to an actual lawyer - a good one who costs a bit of money and comes with recommendations. A specialist. My feeling is you win this with witnesses but you kill this with a counterclaim. But I’m a know nothing bloke who shouldn’t venture opinions outside his sphere of experience and knowledge.

Today, I’m back to being an aviation expert - plus, I’m now also an expert in espionage, counterespionage, and covert acts of terrorism. Feel free to ask me anything. *especially if it’s about Middle East relationships or the works of Kylie Minogue.
