Will you go to any more matches this season?
MiDuck55 replied to hejammy's topic in Leicester City Forum
I've stayed away from more home games this season than I have in the previous 10+ seasons put together. I am not at the stage that seemingly many of those around me in SK1 are, who seem to have be able to accept the disastrous state of the club, the pathetic perfirmances and inevitable relegation. I still feel anger, angst and frustration at what I see and come away from the ground in a black mood that stays with me for far too long. So I have chosen not to go several times as its more than I can bear. However, I intend to go to the remaining home games as I expect it will be the last chance to see Jamie Vardy in a city shirt. There is only one person in the whole of that pox ridden club that deserves my support, and its him. I will go watch our greatest ever player in what are probably his remaining games for us and sob like a baby if our last home game is also his last game at the KP. I will go for our GOAT. This club does not deserve my loyalty. But he does -
If this is true it proves there is a God. And his name is Vardy

Why has the club stopped allowing those seated near the bottom of the stands to exit at ground level? You can only do this now if you are considered by the stewards to be less mobile in some way, when they will deem to open the gate. Previously this was a quick and safe exit via the tunnels under the stands (no crowded staircases with people impatient to get out). Now if you are seated near the front it can take 15/20 minutes to get out, as you are at the end of the queue for the stairs. There are plenty of stewards around to ensure no one strays on to the pitch (when was the last time that happened?) So I can't see.why they have made this change other than to piss off the fans by slowing down their exit. I know this is probably not the main reason people leave early, but it is the reason the couple next to me always nip out a few minutes before the final whistle. They can't be the only ones.

Really hoping Leicester born Che Adams can do us a favour and score

Player of the season? Can we all just agree not to vote for anyone

The players will move on, many will already have new clubs sorted, others will have their agents on speed dial as we speak The managers came in on a dream contract, keep us up you're heros, if we go down no-one will point the finger at you , just have a go. The board, well if Top FINALLY sees them for the ineffective frauds they are maybe he will take action. Maybe. As for Top himself, poorly advised? Lack of commitment ? Other business interests taking priority? Whatever he's massively dropped the ball the past 2 seasons. And Rodgers, rats and sinking ship comes to mind So all the above will either move on or carry on until they get a better offer or choose to spend their time on the golf course, beach, or watching their horses racing or polo team playing. So who is really going to suffer with relegation? Well its us, the fans of course Us who spend hard earned money for overpriced shirts, beer , food etc Who put up with endless petty rules and conditions from the commercial team and ticket office Etc etc etc Because for the players, directors, managers, even the owner, its a job for now, a contract for a couple of years, unless they get a better offer, a pastime to be enjoyed in the good times. For us fans, its FOR LIFE CITY TILL I DIE Right? We can't leave , move on cos this is our club! and we have been massively let down!! Sorry for the rant But I could just cry with anger and frustration right now and the thought of watching the rest of this season, makes me feel sick

Hey listen, I cannot abide Rodgers but.... He's pulled off a masterstroke getting out if this sh*tstorm He's probably sitting on a tropical beach right now watching the results come in and laughing hysterically into his pina colada

Massive credit should go to Cags for keeping himself at such a peak level of fitness despite being frozen out by Brendon. The guy has just played two full games in 8 days when he has hardly kicked a ball in active play all season. Given his contract is up shortly and if the rumours are to be believed his future club is already sorted, he could hardly have been criticised for coasting through training given that he was never likely to be selected again by Brendan Ironic that Brendan threw him under the bus by saying he was nowhere near the level in training Clearly Brendan got that wrong as well

With our fanbase, if we want more than just Sk1 singing its got to be simple lyrics to a tune we all know. How about to the tune of 'Its just like watching Brazil' Teté We just like watching him play Our Hurricane Teté With his Brazilian sway Teté

PROVIDE YOUR THOUGHTS ON SINGING SECTION TRIALS

94% of the people surveyed did not respond at all! Its a myth ( or you could say complete fabrication ) that the majority are in favour. -

I've had to relocate out of the singing section. You are not able to see whats available you have to say where you prefer to sit and the ticket office try to find something for you. You can relocate again once that period opens and more seats become available as people migrate into the singing section. There have been several comments made suggesting the club will make a financial gesture of some sort. Well the only thing they will do is waive the relocation fee £5 !! No discount if you want to move to another stand. I've raised this during 3 different calls and the response was the same everytime. Just want to set the record straight about how the club are treating the displaced fans. -

But how would you feel Bert if you were MADE to move and the only seats available for you to sit together were the back rows of SK4? -

Thats just the point, there aren't 'loads of seats' in SK1 any more. There are just 58 seats in SK1 that are not already held by season ticket holders and these are nearly all on rows A-C. Even worse in SK2 (27) & SK3 (38) There are seats in SK4 but mostly restricted view seats at the back, ones that the club struggle to sell nornally. In order to accomodate a singing section in SK1 existing ST holders who do not wish to/cannot stand for 90 minutes will have to relocate but the problem is the lack of suitable seats in the South Stand to move to. Ironic that you say L1 won't give up their seat for a SS. It appears those in SK1 who will be forced to move haven't got a choice. -
I thought the atmosphere last night was much better than it is for league games and sorry to say it, but I think the difference was down to the fact that many season ticket holders did not attend! This is not a dig at older ST holders, many would consider me one!, but I cannot for the life of me understand why so many reserved ST seats were not taken up last night considering the importance of the match. Whatever the reason, it resulted in an improved atmosphere with many fans, (several of my family and friends amoungst them) who can't get in otherwise. It allowed more members and friends and casuals (I would guess mainly younger, fitter and more vocal) the opportunity to watch the City play in their first ever European semi final, rather than the early round cup games, which tends to be the only games they get a chance to watch live. We can only hope that things will improve with the expansion allowing an influx of new blood into the crowd Bye the way I loved WYS last night! But Sweet Caroline - don't like it personally, but it did get people singing

I've never really bothered to find out how much things cost to run before now, but as I'm now on the standard tariff (bad timing on my part, fixed rate deal ended Feb), I'm rapidly expanding my understanding of what guzzles the energy the most. Showers! As the mother of a young man who would have two showers a day, totalling AT LEAST 30 minutes, frankly I'm glad he doesn't live at home any more. 9.5kw shower - 10 mins a day =£161 pa 30 mins a day = £480 pa £40 a month just for his showers!!
-
My son made a 240 mile round trip from Yorkshire to come and watch the final with me. I would have loved to have got him a genuine shirt with the FA cup badge on. Gutted that neither the club or Adidas have made the effort to bring these out as there is clearly a demand there.

Dave Henson a song for Leicester City FA cup winners.
MiDuck55 replied to Heskey2011's topic in Leicester City Forum
His Kermorgant song would be on my Desert Island disc Brilliant lyrics and still evokes the despair we felt after that match This song was written after we failed to get to a Championship play off final sometimes when I thimk about how far the club has progressed its more than i could ever have dreamed about. And we're still living the dream!! -
If Tielemans is not in this image its poor by whoever chose it not to include the player who scored the only goal There must have been many to choose from so why this one I don't believe its telling us anything regarding his future but that mainly because I really can't contemplate a future without our player of the season

They deserve to be relegated for having a human boiler for a mascot!

I can't complete mine. When I click on the link it comes up with a message 'Service temporarily unavailable' Not panicking yet. Assume it the number of people trying to access at the same time.
