Errrr..? I just don't get it, we've seen multiple managers now come in and pick similar if not the same.teams that go on and do sweet F All in matches. Why is Rowett now falling foul of the same? What's frustrating is that we as fans call for changes to be made to selections before KO and in many cases our alternative selections are vindicated when the player actually sets foot on the pitch and makes the difference we hoped for and actually needed from the 'get go'. If we can see it, and see tangible positive outcomes from our positions as "armchair managers" it beggers the question of 'why the fvcking hell can't the bloke in charge' see it also, expecially after witnessing the better players impact when finally playing, to have a goldfish moment, and revert back to picking the crap again next match. Or is there something in contacts that state someone plays if fit regardless of talent or form. I doubt it if I'm being honest, but it would at least offer an explanation to questionable selections.

Worst ever managers - we have had a few
Guppys Love Child replied to Bazly's topic in Leicester City Forum
From a true management view I agree with your first 2 but RvN in at 3 for me. But worst manager is Rodgers for me, the above 3 were just crap/ incompetent/out of their depth etc. The odious, backstabbing, gucci belt wearing, little troll is just a thoroughly despicable human being, who exhibited all the trates I hate in people in general. Hate is s strong word but I reserve it whole heartedly for that C U Next Tuesday. And breathe........ -

I know mate, and that alone should be enough for the KPFC clowns to acknowledge there is a problem and we have regressed regardless of them "saving us:" -

Actiually Milan Mandric saved us and King Power under Vichai took us to the next level and greater things. But regardsless, as the stament reads that is "history" and not a reflection of what's happening now. Using achievements 'Pre-Top' as "banked beownie points" and then cashing them in to excuse the current circumstances is a desperate and weak argument. The happy clapping KPFC brigade seem to dredge variants of this phrase and a dash of the "we won the FA Cup" up to counter our KP Out arguments. I've said in other posts, in other threads just don't argue with them, state the current situations facts than sit back, because as soon you answer and counter their 'KP past achievements' argument it validates its existence and in turn their, all be it weak, attempts to protect the Nepo Baby. They crave a response and chance to play "argument tennis" so if the majority of posts in a thread only have replies that are in response to a KP Out post and not a past glory their arguments are swamped and smothered. -
And here comes Ayew F F S !!! Gary man. He's not the fooking answer

Okoli is just a poor defender. But collectively the outfield is poor. Also ..sorry Ricky P but your time here is done

I just getting a little tired with Okoli's horrendous passing.

Iiiiiiiiiiiiiii To coin another phrase, what have we got to lose. Under the current circumstances and the yoke of King Power we are probably going to continue on our downward spiral, as they just don't seem to learn from one incompetent mistake to the next incompetent mistake. Its impossible to deny that both on and off the pitch we as a club are in a sh1t state, and over the last 5 or 6 years they have shown us that as owners King Power are now not fit for purpose. No one has a crystal ball to forsee our eventual fate, but unless Rowett can steady the ship and actually get a tune, some fight and consistency out of his bunch we are probably destined for League One, and I fear for us if that happens. There must be an Event Horizon point for King Power where the financial burden becomes too great, and the family's "duty" to Vichai's legacy has diminished enough to consider selling the club, but where that point is I haven't a clue. Maybe League One's football, it's reduced financial income, coupled with our crippling outgoings would tip us over the precipice and pushes us and possibly King Power into administration, and we become financially attractive enough to be purchased at a reduced rate to pay off a creditor, who knows. But I'll stand by my belief, that I have voiced in numerous posts that until we are sold we won't ever get the opportunity to heal and move forward again, as the damage caused by Top, Rudkin, KP et el is just to deep and far beyond there ability to reverse or they would have done so by now. Only new owners, new ideas, and a different way of running us gives us a least a chance. -

Or the first match of my LCFC sabbatical if that actually happens.... -
I bet we are holding out for an "Enzo Type" manager to fulfil the Nepo Babys fixation with possession based/B-Tec Man City football. I'm actually passed caring now, and trying to not let his actiona's and currently his in-action wind me up anymore , and I honestly feel much better for it.

You paint a bleak picture there may friend, so realistically the best option is for KP to fold and we are sold off on the cheap. So what happens with any existing debt, is that picked up by the new owners, how does this work? -

He'd fvck that up too -
I sure you could be right here. But what would you put his numerous poor performances down too, his continually being caught out by the oppositions winger and doing his favourite trick of drifting towards our 18 yrd box and not coving the cross coming in? he did it quite a bit last match, enough for me to shout at the TV. Is it due to the negative vitriol he gets here or is it just the plain and simple fact he just not good enough. Hence the comments he then receives? Bring a well liked and a nice chap doesn't shield you from receiving scathing comments if your performances are sh1t.

Realistic Managerial Replacements
Guppys Love Child replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Sorry mate, I just can’t agree with you on this. Both are sh1t managers if we are honest and neither have the firefighter qualities we sorely need at present. Gerrard suffers from great player cr@p manager syndrome. Who again if we are honest has done sod all outside of the sub standard Scottish Premier league with the team and resources at the time second only to Celtic Martin is just a loud mouthed, BS spouting, loves the sound of his own voice fraud, who was found out incredibly quickly at Rangers as the incompetent tw@t that he is. -
I'd take that.. Not a major fan of Kristiansen, and he's probably is a bit ring rusty, but if it keeps Thomas off the pitch its a plus. The "problem" is that your team selection is potentially quite attack minded, (which i like) and possibly suits our squad better than the possession tippy tappy sh1t so we all know it won't ever happen, as that would take some actual brainpower from someone at the club to implement...

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Same boat mate. The bloke is a uranium enriched weapons grade bell3nd. And that's me being restrained in my comments. Rodgers is the benchmark gold standard c u next Tuesday but Martin is running in second, I seriously can't abide this fraud.. His brand of "football management " ( I use this term in its loosest form possible) is horrendous. A possession based bore fest, from a clown who dribbles postmatch BS out of the hole under his nose purely so he can hear the sound of his own voice. He's not what we need and NEVER will be.. OK rant over . -
Birmingham 2-1 LCFC, post-match thread
Guppys Love Child replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
I agree. And some people would happily have Enzo back for more of the same sh1t and in even larger quantities. The fascination with this horrendous style of football, for our club at least, simply has to end, but until the Polo Loving Nepo Baby 'does one" and sells up, I'm afraid it won't happen as he's fixated with it and still hell bent on us playing like a B-Tec Man City, hence we continue to see its influence in our play still to this day. It's why managers like Enzo, and Russell Martin (god help us) keep getting hired because of their devotion to it. -
I agree totally. Also surprise surprise, yet another backpass, so we can "build from the fvcking back"
-
Don't bother
-
Errrr... I'm OK with that I think. Surprised with Begovic's start (but down with it) disappointed Aluko isn't in for Thomas (or anyone really even a fan from the stands) Page in for BdCR, the rest looks OK to start. Whilst Daka is.....well..Daka at least he will press and work which is a 1000% improvement on Ayew's slowing of play, and stopping play when looking for free kicks in what may be a match where we have a limited amount of promising attacking opportunities, something his stupid antics will just stunt if he plays. For me it's also about how we apply ourselves today, along with a evidence of style of play. If we see less Tippy Tappy sh1t and a obvious shift say towards going forward, but crucially with some actual intent or whatever King thinks is best, I'll be happier. Just a few tweaks to the starting lineup, however sorely needed, won't be enough going forward, we need to see even just the start of a move away from "Marti's non tactics" until the new manager arrives and makes there own mark.
-
I'm inclined to agree, OK he's physically strong and quick, that's it. But for all of his above attributes he lacks the ability to apply them usefully. 1 His passing is hideously woeful 2 Positioning poor 3 Decision making....not great, yesterday confirmed that. 4 IMO he always looks around hopefull that someone with tell him what to do, like he's seeking constant clarification. His failings are all trates that even a half decent defender should be getting right. Whilst 'Wout Garfunkel' had his failings and some similar to Okoli's they were never on the same level. But I still don't want him back as he's a weapons grade knob.
-
Nay.. 1 Enzoball is 'Coma Inducing' to watch. I truly hated it last time and couldn't sit through it for a second stint. 2 Enzoball needs better players than we have at our disposal. 3 Enzoball as a style was 'found out' by the 2nd half of our promotion season, and even championship teams know how to nullify it now. 4 He jumped ship at the first chance, so I'd expect the same. 5 The only possible plus would be the players who are still here from his last tenure were receptive to him, so we may get a marginal improvement in moral, and applicaton, but that alone isn't enough to justify the negatives in IMO covered in points 1 to 4. I also call BS on the whole thing, this is media spin either to jockey prospective managers along or as a smokescreen for the club to say 'well we tried'
-
Spot On. I wasn't surprised at his team selection if I'm honest. (And posted as such on other threads) However he could have been a bit braver with starting Daka in for A'Hole, sorry Ayew, and also Aluko for Thomas, and whilst it's hard to change loads in a week, I was disappointed not to see at least a tweak in style or formation (OK we played a little less out from the back, but it needed more) 'Marti's set up' hadn't really worked so " it is broke and needs fixing" remember, these are professional players who should be able to adapt, like play a bit more narrow, or wider or more hoof ball ect. and specially at just doing the basics It was clear by the end of the match who where the best players in their roles and and more importantly their applicaton during the 90 min's and if he learns from this and then adjusts for the Birmingham match then I'll be a bit happier, but if we have a rince and repeat (Okoli inclusion excused due to him being a stupid tw@t) then sorry Kingy, 'you reap what you sow'
-
I guess without "fly on the wall" access to training sessions and team brief's we'll.never truly know. I'm not saying you are wrong in your view, and in all honesty I was hoping for at least a variation in tactics, and not a rince and repeat from previous matches. I wasn't expecting a radically different team selection truth be told, as his hands are pretty much tied which who's available, but he could have been a bit more adventurous, both in selection and instructions to the team. I'm past being disappointed now and quite 'meh' with everything. And have quickly learnt not to let if spoil my weekends
