  4. 20 migrants jumped out the back of a wagon at work today and took off running. Quite the sight.
  5. I had breakdown cover with car insurance, no idea which company I'd just ring my insurance and they'd contact a garage local to me who would come out and sort me. Got back from a holiday, 1am Stanstead airport, car battery was so flat even the alarm didn't work. Called insurance, said they'd get someone. 3am a bloke in a van turned up, asked me to go to the car park entrance so I could get in and show him where I was parked. Absolutely reeked of alcohol, reckon he was hammered. Cones blocking car park entrance as it was full. He just runs them down to get in. Still, got the car started and off I went. I got AA breakdown cover for £20 for the year when I renewed my car insurance a few years ago. Had to use them twice and found both times to be excellent. On a bank holiday my starter motor went at the asda petrol station in fosse park. Pushed the car away from the pumps and gave them a call. Someone was there within the hour, diagnosed the problem, went off to buy a new starter motor, fixed it there and then and off I went. Had to pay for the starter motor (£100). I knew it was already on the way out and would've cost a fair bit more to have it done at a garage. So very happy with that. The other time I used it was for a flat tyre. Was about to leave for work and it was absolutely pissing it down, saw the flat tyre. Didn't fancy sorting it myself. Didn't have home start, so drove it slowly to an industrial estate round the corner, just outside the range classed as home start, and they had me sorted within the hour again. Left them this year as the £20 a year went up to £200, took out RAC cover with insurance but never had to use them.

  9. I thought the peroni alcohol free was absolutely disgusting tbh. Heineken not too bad, quite like the Free Damm. Got a load of asahi alcohol free cheap at the end of last year and been doing dry January with them and think they're pretty good.

    Vet prices

Wait, so I have a cat with epilepsy and he has a monthly prescription for epiphen. So I now have to take him in every month for a consultation to get his tablets? Best get on darkweb then.
  11. Santa helpfully brought me a keg for the perfect draft machine a week early, so I've got stuck into that tonight whilst the other half faffs around dealing with her family. Our first year hosting in our own home, thankfully its her family so I can drink to oblivion and not worry about anything.
  12. Merry and Happy Christmas to you all I'm getting hammered.

  14. That is much better.
  15. I was just thinking, despite never giving a shit about this story, the chant other teams do seems wrong to me. I see a grass as someone who tells on someone, reports someone to authority etc, which isn't what Becky did. She sold private info to a newspaper. Surely in the scenario that played out, Coleen is the grass for reporting it publicly, and Becky is I guess a mole, a spy perhaps, but not a grass. Its similar, but to me there's a difference. I hate myself for even spending the time thinking about this shit.

    Taxi

I've used uber around hinckley a few times and it's been fine, but going to Leicester can be a faff, if there aren't any around at the time of your trip you can't do much about it. I've pre booked an uber to leicester in the past when no local firms would even answer their phone and it set me back £45. Leicester to hinckley is about £20. Can't give any advise on local firms as I've never been able to actually use one.
  17. Finally got rid of my shit heap last week. Was going to cost a fortune to get through an mot. Got an a class, lovely motor.
  18. Gutted I wasn't there today, getting dragged to the radio 2 festival. But watched as much as I could with the shite signal. What a team.
