  1. Injured his gob talking so much shite
  2. He's better than anyone we have in that position end of. Harsh reality. The bullshit Foxestalk narrative of playing anyone under 22 and building for the future at the cost of any short term success is Football Manager esque nonsense tbh
  3. I know it's petty but I can't help but think of the big fat ugly lad who supported West Brom in university ten years ago and raise a bond-esque smirk as i pour a Jack Daniels at this late hour
  4. Watching The Importance of Being Ernest in the west end tonight and it clashes with this. Feel like I'm letting everyone down.
  5. This was always going to be the outcome. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ipswich do what we did for Forest in the League Cup game though.
  6. Wouldn't you be better just staying over?
  7. Get what Ric says about Nelson but i think the issue is managers don't have enough trust in the hierarchy that they'd stay in a job if they put future over short term. But this is why clubs are supposed to have Sporting Directors now to oversee a whole vision. Managers will only ever put their best interests at the forefront of the decisions and Faes and Vestegaard are our best centre backs. We really do need to be including him in at least the squad though.
  8. Id be very surprised if any offer would outweigh the money promotion is worth and by accepting any offer you are basically saying goodbye to promotion. In the 23/24 season we had a similar situation with KDH. I think we all knew taking him away would severely impact our chances and we held out until the summer. I think it will be exactly the same with this. We aren't as strong as last time and we need him if we are to have any chance of going up.
  9. Yeah you're right. Assumed because he signed the pro deal he'd be on there. Bit of a shame that.
  10. No Monga in our squad
  11. He had a point to prove when he first got here. It feels like last season was a bit of a reality check for him and others that they aren't quite good enough for that level. I still think he looks a threat and will be fine once he gets some confidence back though. Some comments in here well over board again.
  12. Agree with what you said about Soumare but Ayew has been really good so far this season and does far more for us than that.
  13. Literally. We had double their xg. I think unless we absolutely smash anyone this season the twats on here are lining up to moan as usual. I can't think of anything else in life where so many people actively turn up just to moan. Maybe the post office?
  14. We had loads more chances than them. What are some of you ****ing watching? 😂
  15. They're back at McDonald's
  16. Realise this is slightly off topic but Tim Hortons is nice for breakfast isn't it?
  17. Settled team with 5 changes. Love it.
  18. When he played at centre back against Sheff United
  19. I actually think the longer we go without playing them seems to make these games bigger. The Derby matches this season will feel 10x bigger than the games when we were playing them for the 8th time in a few years and getting about 20,000 in. Even though we were pumping them 4-0 every time.
  20. Althought Forest will always be by far the biggest game for me and most others, let's not take after some of them twats and pretend this doesn't matter. It's absolutely our biggest fixture this season for me.
  21. I always look at players reactions when we score and it feels like there was much more togetherness for the Ricardo goal than we have seen in a while. Really annoys me when a player scores and there's players who treat it like someone's just popped one in in training. The reaction to Monga getting his first goal was actually a disgrace.
  22. There hatred of Forest doesn't compare with the others but this has become the second biggest. Up until the 2010s I'd say Derby was comfortably the 2nd biggest game but this one has taken on a whole new level now they actually have fans in the stand and resemble a bit of a normal club.
