I imagine before the game Maddison told him he wanted/was ready to take it. Its not about blaming Maddison more about how close he was to keeping us in the league. All things considered he did what he could.

We need to sack Rudkin. He was a youth coach who's job was to place cones in training for teenagers he is in over his head as a director of football and has always been coasting off the work of the recruitment team but now the recruitment got ruined by Rodgers and Congerton we are starting to see how inept Rudkin really is. Let so many contracts run down. Let so many of our players have inflated wages. Sanctioned bringing in Bertrand and Vestergaard and Perez. Aging players looking for a paycheck that do not fit our model. He broke our model of sigining young players on the cheap and caved into Brendan and Congeton. Now we are getting relegated.

A midfield of Choudhury and KDH wouldn't get promoted from league 1.

To be honest if the average player here is on 80k a week whats the maximum we could afford to pay a player in the championship. How are we going to keep Vardy on 100k+ a week?

Personally I would sack the whole club and start afresh.
