Faes is not fast. Soyuncu was fast but he was inconsistent.

Vesteegaard is fine we just need to pair him with a fast centerback who can cover for him.

Nah he will be a decent PL player for sure but idk if he would be a great one in the Maresca system in the PL. If we get good money I wouldn't mind letting him go tho.

Yup even if we had sacked off Dean Smith because Rudkin is a tool that fellated his way into the DOF role he would have given the job to Marsch or Russel Martin and we would have been down the next season.

All our parachute money went to the banks we owed money as collateral if we ever got relegated didn’t it? All the money we spent this season was from the player sales. Even then this season our best players have been the ones who were here beforehand anyway.

@Collymore You are joking if you think we wouldn’t be better than the current bottom 4. Name 6 players of theirs you would have over any of ours in the starting lineup.

Of course theres no definite proof but who out of Burnley, Sheffield united, Bournemouth or Luton make it into our starting 11? Hamer, Billing or McAtee are the only ones from any of those teams I would take in our starting 11.

Thats like saying a Ford isn’t a car because it isn’t as fast as a Lamborghini. Burnley use very similar tactics to us because Vincent Kompany and Enzo Maresca both are heavily influenced by Pep Guardiola. One was a captain in his side and another was a coach for him. Main difference is one of us has KDH and Ricardo in midfield and the other has Brownhill and Cullen.

For example Luke Thomas who was shocking for us last year starts for Sheffield United yet currently wouldn’t even start for our U23s. The current bottom in the PL are shocking and players from our reserves get into all of their starting 11s.

Lets be honest. Burnley play the same style of football as us and they are 18th with a squad that is much worse on paper. Players in our reserves would start for them. We will be fine. We just need to buy a good Huth regen to shore up the defence and we will easily manage 15th or above.
