  1. It's all well and good celebrating this, but he is one of our best players. Certainly our best defender. Maybe says more about the other defenders and more about the club that it does Faes himself. I mean, I'm all for a refresh and reset. But don't kid yourselves that sellingwill be some kind of miracle cure for our problems
  2. Potter is a modsrn CEO type manager. Culture and all that. Same as Southgate. As for tactics and coaching....
  3. No way he's 6ft 2. He's a hinge profile 6ft 2, ie 5ft 9
  4. I remember a boozer down there that had newspaper clippings framed around the place about the Yorkshire Ripper, who used to drink there after a shift in his lorry to the docks.
  5. One of those transfers where I really hope it works out for the player. His attitude was spot on. He's never, ever a winger and I'll watch with interest to see if he gets a role as an attacking midfielder.where I think he might prosper Good luck and all the best to Kasey.
  6. Not ideal the dark on dark shirts for colour blind! ...one of those games where I have to look at the shorts
  7. Mothballed I reckon
  8. 100% this. The hubris is off the scale. He will not sell. He'd rather see us defunct than admit his mistakes.
  9. I'm never 100% sold on him. He's talented and puts it in, but he ain't a match winner. .
  10. It's nothing to do with age. It's attitude. The front row brigade go for a day out. The results, the process, the direction of the club is almost totally irrelevant. It's about the sandwiches, a good ol' natter and a bus ride. It's not new. Cliff's brigade have always been like that. Difference is there's 400-500 of them now permanently hoovering up the tickets on autopilot (as opposed to 60 or 70 at Cliff's physical peak back in the day)
  11. I used to go too. Sunday mornings i think. Wow, love (and weirdly hate) these. I would've been there. It's quite upsetting in a way 😂 Sunday mornings they were on I think.. mainly youth teamers did them. Random names popping into my head who I did keepy uppies with Paul Friar, Rob Alleyne, Robert Jones, Ian Andrews as you say
  12. It's a given for me. I'm committed to the fact I'll never watch him again. Same with Ward after the Chelsea/Chilwell debacle. Never saw the tvvwat again. Edit; error tbh..I will watch them both play for Wrexham. And pay handsomely for the pleasure!
  13. ...who said to his wife after the interview that if he hasn't got the job, he's a 'Dutch uncle'....a phrase i still use to this day
  14. He had energy. Fitness. Strength. Poor Luke is just an energy hoover
  15. Cambodia flags. A passive aggressive move to humiliate him
  16. For those old enough to remember, this season has shades of 2003 under Micky Adams. Financial shambles, an overpaid squad of PL veterans and a general depressed gloom, made worse when Matt Piper was sold Second game of season we were bummed 6-1 away at Ipswich. The happy end is that Adams soon pulled it round ( a stabilising 0-0 for game 3) used the gloom to create that siege mentality and we barely lost again.
  17. I've always felt this gloom when he's selected. Literally from his very first games as a kid. Sadly he's an anergy drain. Runs like he's in a fever dream. That eternal 2 seconds or so as he tries to control the ball, Then after that, he looks up, sees 18 players ahead of him and you can see in his face, it's all a white noise of faceless players and he just looks pleadingly back to the safe bet of GK or centre half
  18. It's pretty clear he reads social media as, to my knowledge, the crowd have always backed Winks in the ground. Even on here, his exclusion was yes, backed by the Dutchman's cucks but still a good ,% sided with Winks (or at least gave him benefit of doubt)
  19. Yes. Agree with every word you say @Clogger_ was correct in saying that a large portion of the crowd aren't KP fans as such, just idle (and as such complicit) Natter. To get out the house. The ol' heartbreak excuse of 'only chance I get to bond with my son'. And the lame 'been seeing the same fella next to me for years, I can't let him down'
  20. Great post. Absolutely this.
  21. Ditto Whelan.. They know of the vile, corrupt corporation that KP really is
  22. No, I'm saying he needs to know that the fans will back a decision for a refresh. The owner would never give such a sign of support.
  23. Mate, I genuinely think Winks, Vesty and Faes are three of our best players. But we need to move on. We need to reset. Even if those three wanted to play for us (which is hugely under question) Freshness. Even if it means being worse. I think the manager would benefit from knowing the support would back his decisions to refresh the club and not just chase a 'quick win' by relying on the old guard
  24. What's the harm in him knowing the supporters are prepared for poor results in exchange for players who want to play for us?
  25. Make it personal and make it offensive
