  1. Personal favourite’s aside, has to be the title winning team can’t pick any other.
  2. At what point did I say Puel wasn’t? I was commenting on Rodgers, which was the topic heading. I think its now clear Puel will not be here next season.
  3. He’s a good manager, and if you try to argue he isn’t you’re just being cantankerous. He’s done a good job pretty much everywhere he’s been and trying to convince us Celtic is a piss easy job won’t work, he was excellent at Swansea and was also excellent at Liverpool. Hes a proven manager, and let’s face it, who else is there? Wagner certainly is not the one.
  4. It’s becoming more common amongst the big six so to speak. I don’t think I’ve ever been to one of their grounds where the atmosphere has been anything other than placid.
  5. Will he be available for tomorrow?
  6. He’s useless, absolutely utterly useless. Why we even entertained the idea of looking at him, let alone sign him is beyond me.
  7. In case you haven’t heard We went and won the league With Vichai as our leader, Ranieri as our king Bocelli started singing, and the spurs began to cry, as Morgan lifts the trophy, into the Leicester sky.... allez allez allez.....etc.......
  8. Ricardo, Ricardo he’s our Portuguese sensation ? Flying down the wing as the Leicester sing I cant think of the middle line, to the tune of Made Of Stone by the stone roses.
  9. Seriously? He is utter shite. There are no positives and I’m sure he will be binned off as soon as the club can.
  10. He’s a bag of honking dog shit, and there’s nothing else to it... complete waste of money and effort.
  11. He’s decent. There’s a lot of potential there once he’s become more experienced he will be a very decent player. There’s and air of Puyol about him, tidy on the ball and reacts to danger quickly.... the odd lapse in concentration which is to be expected but overall he’s a prospect!
  12. Someone summed his situation up perfectly not so long ago.... basically he hasn’t worked here, and he will never work. He’s not the type of striker we need. Best thing to do is offload him in the summer, unless we can somehow bring a striker in, in January who is worthy of a first team place. You’ve seen players in Kalechi’s position before, when they don’t work at a club they simply don’t work... we don’t have the quality, luxury or time to attempt to build a team around him.
  13. I’m more concerned about your “just as we start to get going” header..... when did that happen???
  14. Same shit different game.
  15. I reckon a stuffing is in the cards 4-0 Watford.
  16. Poison them? Probably the only way.
  17. Beyond the one at times is about right....
  18. This is the more likely outcome, despite one that I don’t think works. He might eventually turn out to be a great player, but I really don’t think Maddison is helping us at the moment, maybe a few games out of the side will put a rocket up his arse, not that he’s a bad player, but he’s too slow at everything, I don’t think he links well with Vardy at the moment... sometimes shaking things up doesn’t hurt.
  19. Maguire hopefully is fit again with Evans along side him, that’s probably our best pairing at the moment. I’d actually stick Simpson in at RB with Ricardo on the wing, and then Albrighton on the opposite flank. I’d like to see N’didi and Silva pair up in CM for a premier league game and Okazaki in to support Vardy. This lot will be a very tough test, physically strong and not bad a footie either, if we were to return to play like we did in the second half against Brighton, we could certainly beat them. I guess all we can do is wait and see.....
  20. Maybe an unpopular opinion. But I really do not rate Mendy, and I think he really, really stifles our attacking play. What does he do that King couldn’t? He may pop up in the right place at the right tile in terms of defending, but he doesn’t contribute anything in terms of attacking play. We don’t need two defensive midfielders, surely?
  21. Another dull, uninspiring drab and clueless performance curtesy of the tactical genius that is Puel. Another 90 mins of mainly passing sideways and backwards with the occasional hoof upfront for vardy or Kelechi to do not a great deal with, Southampton are on their arses at the moment and that starting 11 should have been good enough to beat them on open play. Couple of positives, I thought Ward was decent, and the old Turkish Puyol looked fairly steady, but for me as soon as Shinji and Vardy came together we became a little bit more lively up top. Some serious thought needs to be given to this so called “transition” because there isn’t one, currently I see a team being asked to play a style not all are comfortable with.
  22. We started to look dangerous when we started to counter attack and use our pace....... funny that....
  23. First half was a disaster, and madders embarrassing. I wasn’t impressed with Ouels starting 11, I tstill maintain that Shinji and Vardy need to play together, which I would like to see in the next game. Second half we were superb, effort was unquestionable and we got what we deserved in the end. I thought Evans was superb as was Ricardo in the second half. All in all not a bad trip out, definitely deserved at least a point, however, Puel really needs to start thinking a lot harder about his starting 11, yet again he started wrong, and these needs to be addressed.
  24. More than happy to help out. It would be nice to do a mega tribute to Vichai in Tifo form!
  25. I guess it’s purely down to what the gifts mean to the person with them. I’ll never get rid of them, it’s a significant part of the clubs history and a reminder to me of everything Vichai did for us. One thing I will say is don’t dwel on the negatives that have surfaces in this period... because Top and his family will only remember the kind hearted gestures of the thousands who paid tribute, and that is all that truly matters.
