Sure I’d seen something this week to suggest the contrary, but possibly misunderstood given the litany of crap going on behind the scenes.

Who knows. If it’s anything like a frivolous appeal for a sending off, that can lead to extra game bans. Who is to say that can’t happen here. Only the legal side will know that I guess, but if we appeal, to me it just shows they’ve learnt nothing.

If we have the audacity to appeal this that tells you everything you need to know about the lack of accountability at the club. To say I’m relieved with 6pts is a crazy thing to even say, but that’s how bad things have got.

Came across as a decent guy. Happy enough in the summer, but he turned out not to be the right fit, even with the shockingly bad hand he was dealt. It’s getting to the point where it’s just sad to watch what this iteration of king power has done to the club. The performance today summed up the whole club - rudderless (sadly not Rudkin-less) The spine of this team is awful. A poor backup keeper as first choice (again), poor defensive unit, Hamza & a 17yr old in the engine room, Ayew as a number 9. Aluko for me the only positive today. Without JJ midfield we have nothing at all. I didn’t see anymore running than previous weeks, yeah we had a bit of a go second half when the pressure was off, but there’s just nothing about this group that you can get behind. I feel for the youngsters, trying their best but the pros they’ve got to guide them are just dreadful. But hey, we’re looking at loaning in a player who can’t get in the Southampton team in so I’m sure that’ll sort everything out! Top’s plan if we don’t get the playoffs this year is to get promoted next year. It’s looking more and more likely by the week that it’ll be trying to get out of league 1.

Don’t blame him to be fair. Why would you risk coming here when the manager that was here wasn’t sure about you. Now why would you come when you don’t know who the manager is and could end up moving country again in 4/5 months. No prospective signing in their right mind would join us permanently at the moment

I’d say having no money to spend and having a squad of which half probably doesn’t want to be here isn’t the best set of cards to be dealt. Probably why we could only bring in a Cifuentes calibre manager in the first place. But agree, the basics aren’t being met. The running stats alone speak volumes. We are outfought and outrun every week, and that is simply unacceptable

Feel for Marti with the hand he’s been dealt, but it’s reached the point of no return. Yesterday was the final straw. We are unfit, tactically inflexible and clueless, no threat and defensively a shambles. It simply can’t carry on. If only Top would sack himself too. The calls for Kingy are entirely sentimental ones, which to a point I get because people want to feel a connection again. However at present he is not the right man and it is not the right time to be putting him in charge. Nobody would be shocked to see them go after Martin. He’s Tops wet dream come to life. Hopefully he’s sensible enough to not want it 🙏. We need a strong experienced manager, and with hindsight maybe Wilder would’ve been the better way to go in the summer. This job whilst a poisoned chalice, is still a job where someone could be driven by the thought of ‘if we get it right’. I fear an out of work sideways and backwards merchant will be the way we (have to) go, as we’ve been so criminally mismanaged that will be all we can afford.

Run out of words, it’s the same every week. League 1 is beckoning and they don’t even realise. Rotten to the core and it’s not getting better anytime soon.

Anis Mehmeti gone from Bristol City to Ipswich for £3m!

We stayed in a room in split in the centre, and for two of us it worked out at £200 ish for 7 nights. Food was reasonable from memory. Split very walkable. Dubrovnik if you stay near there you can get a card that’ll save you money on the attractions there. Otherwise just to walk the city walls was €40, so we gave that a miss on the day trip!

Drab performance, drab squad, drab manager, drab weather, absent incompetent owner! Quick getaway on the coach best part of the evening.

I’ve been to Croatia twice, both in October and early November. Still nice weather, not too hot, and less crowded 👍. Flew with Jet2 from Birmingham to Split in October 👍. Zadar worth looking at too, not visited there I have to confess. You could probably do a day trip to split from there I’d imagine
