Sick of the majority of these players that have leeched off the all too generous resources of the club. Sick of the mismanagement from the top. Marti has some questions to answer for sure, but I pity the bloke for paying out his own pocket to come here and work with this s**t show of a squad. Yes he could bring more kids into the fold, the lack of Nelson particularly is baffling, but a cluster of 16-18yr olds are not gonna be able to play week in week out at this level. No money to spend. James and Ramsey have been decent so far, Carranza can clear out back to Feyenoord or America from what I’ve seen so far! If there is no change at the top, things will not change. The rot has well and truly set in, and today really rammed home how much of a long way back it is. As golden as the last decade or so has been, the next decade is going to be a dark bumpy road. I can’t be arsed with driving there Tuesday. Saving the fuel for Norwich next week (must be mad).

Had a lovely week in Split last week. Great base to see the Dalmatian coast. Day trip to Dubrovnik - crazy busy still, and as expected not cheap, and visited Krka & Plitvice National parks. Second time visiting Plitvice, one of my favourite places on earth 🙌. Did the stadium tour in Split which was a decent way to spend half an hour or so!

Booked to go back next year! Felt fine in Palermo, Agrigento was interesting. Cefalù & Monreale are beautiful

Had a fantastic week in Palermo a couple of weeks ago. Good weather, plenty of sightseeing across that side of Sicily. Heading to Split for a week on Sunday. Booked a day trip to Dubrovnik, a couple of national park trips, and the stadium tour for Hajduk Split for something else to do!

Missed the first 35mins thanks to the traffic and the coach driver needing to stop as a result, but enjoyed the second half. Nice to see us kick on and learn the lesson of Tuesday night. Great goals. Felt their captain smashing Daka off the ball maybe fired us back up again going into the latter stages. Thankfully a much quicker journey home than getting there 🤣

Made it in on 37mins. Was worth it in the end thankfully! A tale to tell in the future 🤣

Traffic is horrendous. We’ve been told the coach driver has to stop for 45mins and we’re an hour away 😭

Encouraging to read about Sicily. Headed to Palermo for a family holiday for a week in ten days or so time. Back for two weeks then off to Split with a friend for a week in October 🙌

First half was a tough watch, bit of a hangover from last season. Wednesday took their opportunity first half. I thought they would tire as the game wore on and so it proved. Credit to Marti for being proactive and changing it at half time. Second half was an improvement. As the game progressed, we looked more dangerous (granted mainly after Bannan was sent off). We looked short creativity wise first half. Winks made a huge difference, whether he’ll be here come September is another matter. We need a new striker, but I thought Ayew had an excellent afternoon overall, and Daka had an impact off the bench. Pleased for Cifuentes to get off to a winning start. Making an effort with the fans is a smart move, more than Ruud did in his whole tenure! Plenty of work to do, but very much like Coventry a couple of years ago, three points the most important on day one!

Thought the Wednesday fans were a credit to their club today. You deserve better than Chansiri
