Mentality so disappointing. We should have been licking our lips after the red, looking for a statement victory. Instead we looked complacent. Not for the first time. A real shame because the first 20 mins was probably the best we’ve played all season

It is too late. Club needs to stand firm and not be bullied. Still 3 years on his contract.

The first 2 league games of the season were very poor and extremely worrying. But plenty of positives to take from yesterday. I don’t think Martin is the answer but like any manager he deserves 5-10 games to see where this team can get to. If yesterday’s performance is the new normal, we’ll be fine. Whilst I do not like his tactics, I struggle to criticise them yesterday because we dominated MK and should have scored multiple goals. If Cullen or BDCR had scored we’d be 9th/10th, talking about how we were on the up. margins are so fine at this stage of the season and league position incredibly volatile. We could be in the top 6 in a week’s time. I’m obviously not pleased about the start of the season. But I think we’re all so used to doom-mongering that some people are cutting off their nose to spite their face.

Easy to be negative about Leicester at the moment but I thought there were lots to be positive about in that half. McFarlane, Braybrooke, Page all really good. We’re moving the ball MUCH quicker. Some good one touch stuff in the final third. Should have scored. Better intensity. I think with a more settled starting XI we have the potential to be a good team in this league

When’s the presser for this?

Think he’ll be an excellent impact player this year once he gets up to speed and clicks with the team

I’m baffled we haven’t heard any real links at CB since last Saturday. I know deals can often work very much in the background but to hear nothing at all is pretty concerning. Last weekend at CB was about as egregious as it gets. If that’s not a call to action to sign someone, what is?

Burton game is huge for a bit of momentum. Next 4 in the league - MK Dons, Plymouth, Oxford, Stockport - 4 teams all probably challenging for playoffs at least this year. We’ll have a much better idea of where we are come mid-Sept

To be fair, this has been the issue at the club for years now. How long do we wait?

We are making this so much harder for ourselves. Easy out ball to Howell there for McCarthy which is would have put us on the break, instead we piss around with it and give them another opportunity

We’ve got into some really good areas this game and then the ball has come to Thomas or BDCR…. Swap them out and we’re in business

Another step in the right direction. We were never going to get everything we wanted today, but Braybrooke, JJ and Alves all in the XI great to see. Aluko too will play a huge part this year. Faes and Mavididi hopefully on their way out. 2 weeks left of the transfer window, I imagine this team will look very different come October/November.

Such a shame this is going down the way it is. Absolute shambles. Seeing some of the old guard together today has brought back a few smiles, but if anything it makes me angrier at the club. An anniversary ruined by mismanagement and a complete lack of awareness. it is truly astonishing how far our club has fallen

It’s an absolute travesty the way that this has ended for him. At his best, one of the best RBs in the country, but the sh*tshow of the last few years has tarnished his legacy

Most worrying thing was the way he completely gave up for the first goal. Lets his man go, pulls up thinking he’s about to shoot, then is too slow to get to the eventual shot. Not the attitude we need
