Daka’s all round play tonight excellent, linked play so well and great runs. Shame about the missed chance!
-
His best game to date imo. Got stuck in, didn’t look lost as he has previously. Slowly, slowly. Glad he got more time on the pitch.
-
Always under-utilised. Always under appreciated by the club and many on here. Always been a top player. Hope he gets his chance!

James Maddison completes move to Spurs

There’s a longer one on his instagram, can’t fit it all in in the twitter character limit -
Actually a decent message. Fair play Wilf, stick around and get back to your former glory now please!
-
Only way we’ll get decent money is if there’s a bidding war for him. Everyone knows we need to sell, so if it’s just one club they will wait and wait and wait

That is a point gained. We would have been smashed if we hadn’t gone that defensive. Not pretty football but it means Everton have to win on Sunday. First clean sheet in 20+ games. We played 3rd place in the league away from home! That’s not a bad result. one game to go. Get behind the lads and pray. We don’t deserve to stay up but let’s do everything we can for the boys. One to go

Gradual decline involving 2/3 of the club’s best ever finishes and our first ever FA cup win?
-
What a horrendous meltdown
-
This team are taking the piss. They only play when it doesn’t matter, or when they’re losing. As soon as their egos are in for a potential bruising they start to play football. Sick of it. Rather have passion in the Championship than this.

this guy is a titan

This second half feels massive. Not sure my heart can take it. Could do with some help from Palace and Liverpool

Dean Smith New Interim Manager - Official

I know the lads need a bit of confidence Dean, but surely putting them up against the u7s is a bit much? -
Looks like with Barnes and Ricardo out we’ll be playing narrow, hopefully 2 up top.
-
give us one last gift, Youri. Him back will change our fortunes massively.

We do not have a superior squad to our relegation rivals.

Ricardo, Castagne, Ndidi, Tielemans, Maddison, Barnes, Vardy. 7 players that started regularly for us when we finished 5th (FIFTH). Bar Vardy, who’s clearly just getting on a bit, these players have all shown that at times they can play to a European standard of football, so in theory, what’s stopping them from regaining that quality? Of course we have a better squad than those around us. Plenty of the players have the potential to be top 6 quality, we’ve literally seen it in the last 2 years. It’s just getting their performances out of the mud that’s the tricky part. -
Looking more and more ridiculous the decision to wait until after the international break now. Palace two wins in two, 7 goals scored, practically safe. Could have easily had 2 weeks for someone to come in and stamp a playing style on this team.
-
Not a lot can change in 48 hours. Villa 3rd in the form table since Nov. 2 points from safety. That was crap but let’s not give up. Long way to go folks.
-
Hope this first half shows Brendan that Kel needs to be the man going forward. Enough with the obsession of playing style. Goals keep you in the Prem and Kel knows how to get them.
-
This lad has always been class and is another of many under-utilised by Brendan. Hope he starts to play consistently.
-
Wolves looking at Amorim… this is the issue with waiting. Other clubs going to come and pick up all the good options. Getting silly now
-
Son is 100% scoring his first goal of the season here, isn’t he?
-
Of course he can. Football is a results business and if we win our next 5 games then suddenly everyone’s happy again. It’d need to be something drastic though.

Kel HAS to start
