Anyone else fairly calm about this situation? I can’t see him going this summer. Imagine it’ll be a new improved contract with the caveat of “if we miss out on top 4 again you can go for a decent price if clubs come knocking”. He’s not going to be here forever so really it’s about extending the time we have him for. If we got another 2/3 years out of Youri i’d be pretty ecstatic.

I don’t know how I feel about Kabak. I’m not convinced he fits the profile we need moving forward, I know we’re desperate for a CB right now but I’d much rather spend a bit more and go for Tarkowski. Will Kabak be anywhere near the level we need when all our options are fit? Still need that experienced head to replace Evans eventually. I feel like if we’re dipping into our pockets, we may as well go for someone tried, tested, and experienced in the prem. I thought Kabak was OK last year, but the idea of a Soyuncu Kabak pairing at the back worries me a bit. It feels quite mistake prone.

can’t believe people are genuinely considering selling someone who could be one of the world’s best in a couple of years time. And at a time where half of FoxesTalk are stressing about not having enough CBs... The upside is massive on Wes. Even a couple of half-baked seasons and he’ll still be worth well over £50m.

Perfect night for an English City fan?

Shrewd signing. Given the way that Ricardo has been eased back into the team I can't see JJ playing much at all this season, even when he gets back in the new year. Gives us depth and an experienced pro on a free. No complaints whatsoever from me!

Summer break. Rest after a massive year. I’m pretty glad to be honest. The lads playing all the way through are going to be knackered. Should be able to hit the ground running next season.

Anything can happen on the final day. no expectations. Let’s just try and enjoy the last ride this season. Keep the faith

Marc Albrighton has to start every single game until the end of the season. Seems like one of the only players that has the grit and desire that's needed if we're going to get anything out of this season. I was so disappointed with us defensively. Every goal was preventable. Thought Wilf had one of his worst games in a Leicester shirt and could have easily been sent off. Last 20 minutes doesn't excuse the first 70 but at least there was something. 4 massive games now (prem). All must wins to be honest, the three teams behind us are in much better form. We need these winnable games to kick start us and get the confidence back. 442 please Brendan.

Defended really well. City are something else off the ball, giving us no time whatsoever. I imagine Brendan will make a few tactical switches to try and help us get up the pitch a bit more, but can’t complain too much, to hold City to 1 shot on target isn’t bad at all.

We are incredibly lucky. I just love this team and the feeling around the club at the moment. Makes me so proud. Really hope we can go all the way in the FA cup and lift it for Vichai - what a moment that would be.
