  1. Supposedly Buonanotte wouldn’t count as the restrictions apparently don’t apply under 21s, maybe because you don’t have to “register” them? if anyone could confirm? This is what I’ve gathered from what I’m reading but it’s a little unclear.
  2. But Maguire went for £80m? As Leicester fans we should understand more than anybody that the price of a player is dependent on the how much the selling club value him. Guehi is young, a top CB, and Palace don’t need to sell him. He’s just had a brilliant international tournament and hasn’t tried to force a move.
  3. He’s young, and will improve. I’ve got Norwich mates who say he’s amazing, they’re baffled at £7m. High resell value, cover across the whole front line, cheap, it’s exactly the kind of move we should be making given our current situation. would much rather this than spunking £25m on Asprilla
  4. £25m for Asprilla meanwhile Leeds are submitting a £7m bid for Jonathan Rowe… Club is all over the place at the moment.
  5. Match abandoned. Finally some good news coming out of the club!
  6. Definitely stupidity, but also how the PSR system is a complete mess and doesn’t work!
  7. When managers (Enzo) have one attacking way of playing and are unwavering in their approach: “he doesn’t have a plan B” When managers (Cooper) are pragmatic and adaptable depending on the team they have: “he don’t have a philosophy” Ah, FoxesTalk.
  8. We’re desperate for a central midfielder that wants to turn on the ball and run at people. Can’t function at premier league level without someone creative in there.
  9. People talking about Ward are forgetting about Stolarczyk - who was the clear number 2 last year and was excellent in all of the games he played. I almost felt bad for him that he didn’t play more. Time to step up? Would the £45m be spent better elsewhere in the team?
  10. People talking about him being older... he's 27. Christ alive, that's supposed to be your prime. As long as his wage drops, keeping him is a no brainer. We don't have the money to spend on ANOTHER central midfielder, especially one of Wilf's calibre. I think this is done, Mavididi posting on social media to him to sign it just wouldn't happen if Wilf was leaving in my opinion. Club are just as always slow to announce/holding off.
  11. Whether or not you think £30m is a fair price for KDH, it's clear that we would have definitely sold him for more had it not been for the whole world knowing we needed to sell for PSR reasons. Maguire wasn't worth £80m. Chilwell wasn't worth £50m. It's disappointing to see KDH go for £30m because if we weren't in such financial ruin he would have gone for a lot more. We just don't have the financial leverage to scam the big 6 anymore.
  12. Rudkin masterclass...
  13. Money to deal with PSR and Gallagher the other way would suit fine.
  14. I think we have to be very realistic about where the club is at right now. No budget, impending points deduction, we simply weren't going to be attracting a high calibre manager. Cooper is fine in my opinion. I think in a normal season he'd keep us up. I'm not thrilled, but I don't think realistically we're in a position to attract anyone I'd be thrilled about. The appointment is done. Give him a chance, let's see where we are after 10 games. UTF
  15. Potter, Cooper, or Moyes. Potter the clear favourite here as I think he's been a Leicester manager in waiting for years.
  16. I really hope we can get Wilf tied down to a new contract, as long as it's not a crazy wage. He's such a physically gifted player, and has improved so much over just a year with Enzo. We'll miss him more than people realise I think, and he's not going to be easy (or cheap!) to replace.
  17. Could not care less. Nothing was going to stop me enjoying Saturday. We won the league, we got promoted. I do not care about the small details of the lap of honour.
  18. Totally agree with you here re: language. Some of the stuff on here in recent years, talking about 'ruining his father's legacy', 'Vichai would be disappointed' etc just crosses a line for me. It's always made me really uncomfortable. People often don't take into account the human aspect of the situation. Criticism is of course more than fair but a bit of humility should be expected, really.
  19. A lot of talk about Top in the past few months/year. I think the celebrations at the end tell you everything you need to know about his relationship and commitment to the club. The way the players grabbed him, brought him into the celebrations, lifted him up into the air. He cares deeply about the club and clearly has a great relationship with the players. Being the chairman of a football club is not easy, especially with the expectations we have of the club and of him, and the added personal factor of the fact he's trying to do his father proud, someone he lost in tragic circumstances. he's made mistakes, some big ones. But I've never been of the opinion that he doesn't care or that we're not a priority. The players and staff clearly love him. You could see it tonight. That relationship is quite unique in modern football. He has lots more to prove moving forward, but for tonight, he deserves to celebrate.
  20. The togetherness in this squad is off the charts, it's so great to see.
  21. No picking Leicester players in my Fantasy Premier League for them to let me down on two fronts in one weekend!
  22. They actually started the season well but have fallen off in recent weeks, sadly. Theres a lot that's gone on behind the scenes this year too which hasn't helped
  23. Fantastic post match interview there. You can tell this guy is an incredible leader.
  24. Fair play Hamza! What a performance.
  25. Shades of Everton (H) last year now. Need to see this out second half.
