  1. I think it will also encourage a lot of the Democrats' traditional supporter base who have been too lazy to come out and vote previously to also turn out. There's going to be a lot of people thinking do I want a potentially senile man in charge or a genuinely mad man in charge. Not much of a choice for a lot of people.
  2. That's a misunderstanding of the level of partisanship in the US. What it will do is increase the polarisation gap further between the Reps and Dems, which has been increasing hugely over the last 50 years. It strengthens his base undoubtedly, but the Rep rhetoric of blaming Biden, Obama, Clooney, Springsteen, the guy from the Shake n Vac advert, Peter out of Heidi etc. isn't going to play well with floating voters. I don't think Trump has a problem with getting his base out so can't see this benefiting him hugely in the way some do. This election is going to be far more poisonous than 2020 and I'd imagine we're going to see some bloodshed on election day and an awful lot of chaos regardless of the result.
  3. Imminent Fosse Way tweet that Leicester have submitted another offer..
  4. This will just polarise people further. However, I’m not convinced floating voters are going to be compelled to vote for Trump on the basis that some loon tried to kill him. What this will do is empower the conspiracy, deep state, pizzagate, Qanon fruitcakes even more. That may well serve to push the floating voters towards Biden or they might be able to convince more undecideds to go Trump. All this ‘it’s delivered the election to Trump’ shows a misunderstanding of which voters are going to decide this election. One thing you can guarantee is he’s going to go hard on the imagery this has created. As Obama had ‘Change’ at the heart of his 2008 campaign, Trump is going to have ‘Fight’ at the heart of his. You’re going to have countless supporters projecting that he is God’s messenger/the president who cheated death/the chosen one. Won’t be long until Putin comes out and sends his best wishes. Worst timeline continues to deliver.
  5. Be sad if this doesn’t go through, thought he was great in Saltburn.
  6. If we see all that money I’ll be amazed. Give it a year and Swiss Ramble will have unearthed it’s owned by a Russian oligarch or some teenage crypto millionaire with fake accounts.
  7. 3 year contract? So he’ll be 38 when he leaves.
  8. If we were in the Championship he’d be worthwhile. In the Premier League, not a chance. He’s way below the level we need. 17 goals in 162 games in the Championship, does not sound like the stats of someone who is going to set the league alight.
  9. What about ‘Rooting through bins to fulfil PSR’
  10. MOR is linked with Atletico Madrid, Atalanta and West Ham. COH is linked with Sheffield United. Were you spouting the same bilge about Henrik Larson when Jordan Rhodes was around? As for the rest of your logical prolapse, you can be a great player in a supposed rubbish league and still be a better player than an average player in a better league.
  11. Oh great, it’s Nicolas Gonzalez all over again.
  12. I think you've mislaid a decimal point somewhere.
  13. Caleb, that's not how you spell hysterical.
  14. Yeah, but Michael Jackson never wrote a song about Mavididi or Fatawu.
  15. Here. Goal scoring stats from Wikipedia. Pretty similar stats on fbref.
  16. I still don’t rate Daka. Maybe our style or the English game just doesn’t suit him. Stats are obviously contextual and the ones you’ve selected are favourable to his cause but I believe his individual Xg stats show his weakness. Last year, Daka’s expected goals were 9.85, he scored 7, so -2.85. Vardy, xg 17.41, scored 18, so -0.59. Cannon, xg 1.76, scored 2, so 0.24. Iheanacho, xg 6.43, scored 5, so -1.43. Daka scores regularly because logically he should get decent chances playing for a better team than any other in the league. However he’s profligate with the chances he receives, hence the negative xg.
  17. So this forward’s best attribute is clearances. Are we sure we’re not signing him as yet another centre-back?
  18. Absolute no brainer. Anyway, enough about his intellect.
  19. B.C.Game Behold! Championship!
  20. Good luck to the guy. Can't say I'm blown away by this but that's largely down to not really noticing him in matches. Which is probably a glowing endorsement seeing as I can't help but notice Faes every game.
  21. At this rate we're going to end up with Jonjo Shelvey , Rhian Brewster and Craig Dawson.
  22. Does it say ' Straight Back Down'?
  23. Bullet dodged.
  24. What? He made their goal. And has been decent every season, excluding the half season at a dysfunctional club in an unsuccessful relegation fight. And has 11 appearances for the Danish national team at 21. I’m not sure you have much of a clue about the guy or his ability.
