  1. The guy who won the Europa League last year. Non convinced that was a bullet dodged.
  2. Not claiming to be an ITK, but have friends that coach at Cobham and they're saying there's no chance that Chelsea will bid for him this Summer. They also said the chances of Chelsea bidding for him next Summer is very unlikely too - Maresca obviously likes him but the data analysts have other preferences and they tend to sway Boehly and pals. As such, they believe that the only reason Chelsea would need a new keeper next year is if this year goes badly - if that did happen Maresca would likely go anyway and so Mads would be even less likely to go there.
  3. People keep saying this but they don’t need him. They bought a new keeper earlier in the Summer and currently have 4.
  4. He’s 25 in December. He has potential to make a lot of money out of us, care of Rudkin.
  5. I think fan’s understanding of value for money has gone out of the window. Some of the same people who were moaning about the cost of Winks last year are saying this is a good buy. £15m for an Arsenal bench warmer who isn’t a priority position seems somewhat frivolous. We need a proper No. 10.
  6. We deserve to be relegated with that kit.
  7. If it were Spurs they would have organised the open top parade for it already.
  8. Only problem with that plan is you’d need buyers for those players, which we’re pretty poor at finding.
  9. So predictable. And we’ve now wasted a couple of weeks getting our face rubbed in the gelato when we could have used the time to negotiate a £15m deal for Craig Dawson.
  10. “These players appear to be clinically dead.”
  11. You know how Daka misses? Well Finegan never misses...the chance to defend Daka and his elite goalscoring skills.
  12. Rick Astley fans?
  13. I think it will also encourage a lot of the Democrats' traditional supporter base who have been too lazy to come out and vote previously to also turn out. There's going to be a lot of people thinking do I want a potentially senile man in charge or a genuinely mad man in charge. Not much of a choice for a lot of people.
  14. That's a misunderstanding of the level of partisanship in the US. What it will do is increase the polarisation gap further between the Reps and Dems, which has been increasing hugely over the last 50 years. It strengthens his base undoubtedly, but the Rep rhetoric of blaming Biden, Obama, Clooney, Springsteen, the guy from the Shake n Vac advert, Peter out of Heidi etc. isn't going to play well with floating voters. I don't think Trump has a problem with getting his base out so can't see this benefiting him hugely in the way some do. This election is going to be far more poisonous than 2020 and I'd imagine we're going to see some bloodshed on election day and an awful lot of chaos regardless of the result.
  15. Imminent Fosse Way tweet that Leicester have submitted another offer..
  16. This will just polarise people further. However, I’m not convinced floating voters are going to be compelled to vote for Trump on the basis that some loon tried to kill him. What this will do is empower the conspiracy, deep state, pizzagate, Qanon fruitcakes even more. That may well serve to push the floating voters towards Biden or they might be able to convince more undecideds to go Trump. All this ‘it’s delivered the election to Trump’ shows a misunderstanding of which voters are going to decide this election. One thing you can guarantee is he’s going to go hard on the imagery this has created. As Obama had ‘Change’ at the heart of his 2008 campaign, Trump is going to have ‘Fight’ at the heart of his. You’re going to have countless supporters projecting that he is God’s messenger/the president who cheated death/the chosen one. Won’t be long until Putin comes out and sends his best wishes. Worst timeline continues to deliver.
  17. Be sad if this doesn’t go through, thought he was great in Saltburn.
  18. If we see all that money I’ll be amazed. Give it a year and Swiss Ramble will have unearthed it’s owned by a Russian oligarch or some teenage crypto millionaire with fake accounts.
  19. 3 year contract? So he’ll be 38 when he leaves.
  20. If we were in the Championship he’d be worthwhile. In the Premier League, not a chance. He’s way below the level we need. 17 goals in 162 games in the Championship, does not sound like the stats of someone who is going to set the league alight.
  21. What about ‘Rooting through bins to fulfil PSR’
  22. MOR is linked with Atletico Madrid, Atalanta and West Ham. COH is linked with Sheffield United. Were you spouting the same bilge about Henrik Larson when Jordan Rhodes was around? As for the rest of your logical prolapse, you can be a great player in a supposed rubbish league and still be a better player than an average player in a better league.
  23. Oh great, it’s Nicolas Gonzalez all over again.
  24. I think you've mislaid a decimal point somewhere.
