Really like him. Puts himself about and is also very composed on the ball.
-
I thought he was very good today (again). Puts a shift in, no matter what, and, like you say, coped with Mahrez admirably.
-
Selected from players I've seen play: Flowers (suffered with injuries but I thought he was a real class act) Ricardo (as has been said by others, before his injury, he was incredible) Elliott (solid as a rock, good on the ball and a real threat from set pieces) Evans (Rolls Royce) Fuchs (Personally think that following this guy was something that Chilwell was never going to overcome) Izzet (could do it all) Tielemans (just gets better and better. When he's on top form, he glides) Kante (genuinely world class whilst with us and since) Mahrez (as much as he left under a cloud, it annoys me how he is wasted by Pep. Personally think he's second only to Salah in his position in the PL) Vardy (GOAT) Heskey (nearly went for Guppy but there were games when Emile was unplayable and even when was finding things tough he gave defenders a lot think about) Manager: Nigel Pearson Subs: Schmeichel Huth Kamark Lennon Cambiasso Guppy Cottee

Thought he was great today. So much of our good play came through him. Great to see!

Who's holding the camera? 🤷♂️

Poole Riccy P Elliott Huth Fuchs Albrighton Izzet Wilf Guppy Vardy Claridge Honourable mentions: Ian Marshall, Iain Hume, Lloyd Dyer and Mike Whitlow

I suppose at least Laursen and Bennett didn't cost anything (apart from a few points here and there! 😅)
-
Jacob Laursen and Ryan Bennett say, 'Hello!'
-
Thought he was excellent today. Yes, he's skilful and quick but his attitude is spot on.
-
...and, of course, Lee 'the magic man' Marshall...
-
Of course, Junior Lewis wore number 26 too, so there could be nothing in it...
-
Frees up the number 26 shirt...

Exactly this. Personally, I can't see the appeal for Madders to go to Arsenal at this current time; it's not as if they're completely rebuilding the squad and look to be going places. Also, I don't really understand why Arsenal would want him. He's potentially a very good player and, when he's on it, he's great. However, he's hardly a catalyst to improve the players around him which is surely what you'd think Arsenal would expect him to be.

Usually directed to the carpark opposite the shop

He's always looked decent whenever I've seen him play.

My husband loved LCFC and needs your support 💙

Signed and shared. So sorry for your loss. -
Let's just be grateful it's not Burrda anymore! (shudder)

That was on eBay for ages (going for as little as £60 at one point!) Had it not been red, I might have been tempted!

I think this why either: Villa need to seriously improve their squad Or Grealish needs to move At Villa, you can see he doesn't trust the players around him enough so often ends up holding onto the ball too long (usually resulting in a foul!) - you can see this with England, to a degree, too... If he's integrated into a team of better players, his effectiveness will increase massively IMO because he won't feel he's got to do it all by himself.

I'm sure I've seen Bertrand play left-side centreback in a 3 for Southampton a few times (under Pochettino, perhaps?) Maybe he's a target due to this (as well as being a leftback) - in the same way Justin and Castagne have covered the right side of the three on several occasions this season... He's solid defensively and decent in the air so it'd make sense.
-
Might look like the players have been run over...
-
He's keeping some good company there! Incredible to think he plays for us!
-
Sign of his world-class mentality: even when he's not having the best of games, he doesn't hide and always wants the ball.
-
I'll share the responsibility; I did the same! 😢

I think these would be my picks. Mainly chosen on value-for-money. Fuchs and Elliott unlucky to miss out, as is Youri who, despite the huge fee, is so integral to how we play. 1. Huth £3m 2. Kante £5.6m 3. Ndidi £15m 4. Evans £3m 5. Albrighton £0m (Only included players signed when in the Prem)
