You win! 😄

To horribly paraphrase Brian Clough: I wouldn't say he was the worst player I've seen play for Leicester but he was definitely in the top 1. Seems like he was held in regard at Brighton... I thought the author was taking the p*ss to begin with! 😄

It's his workrate and desire to press that I like. He's effective going forward (particularly on the left) but he's got Albrighton-like levels of tenacity too. Sign him up!

Need a 'Spinal Tap' 11 to rate Fofana -
Wesley Fofana and Jonny Evans: Carlsberg don't do central defensive partnerships, but if they did...

Credit due to Rodgers; we needed to win, he made positive changes and it worked! Brave management and great to see 😀

For me, it's got to be Wasilewski missing out on a medal. A backup 'keeper gets a medal for, presumably, being an unused sub throughout the season; why not other regular unused subs? Can't say I'd ever thought about it before Wasilewski missed out. Am I right in thinking that Inler made enough apps for a medal?

Who have we rejected, who went on to become a top player?

And in another; Nicky Maynard and Craig Mackail-Smith... (and probably propping up League 2!) 🤦♂️ -
I'm always smiling before kick-off. It's often after the final whistle when you'll see me frowning...

Once saw Gerry Taggart at Loughborough leisure centre in the swimming pool; tearing it up in a rapid butterfly crawl (Gerry, not me!). Didn't think it was appropriate to approach him in the changing room whilst he was towelling himself down! 😄

When your team, at the back, has an Evans-sized gap...

Always thought this would be appropriate for us (particularly since the league win). Has no connection to us but traditions have got to start somewhere...

78% - maddening doesn't even begin to describe it! 😄 Thanks for sharing 👍 -
Exactly 👍 He's a good technical footballer but too many fullbacks are great going forward but neglect the defensive side of things. Thomas has time, and ability, on his side to fine-tune the defensive side of things before moving onto the offensive elements of the role. Also, he has the luxury of a potentially brilliant forward player in front of him, in Barnes, who is more than enough of a threat on his own (or in tandem with the likes of Maddison, KDH etc) It's not quite the same but think of the Simpson/Mahrez dynamic we used to have... I think Thomas is doing great. Very little better than watching an academy product 'come good' (particularly when he comes across as humble and grounded as Luke Thomas does)

I'd argue that 'world class' players would have a consistently positive impact on any team in the world. For that reason, as much as I like him as a player, I wouldn't include TAA in that discussion. He is very good, don't get me wrong, but it works at Liverpool because of the players around him covering for his defensive deficiencies. Why doesn't he get picked regularly for England? (aside from Southgate's player 'blind spots' 😄) Probably because, without a solid base of Matip and van Dijk backing him up and compensating, he can be a weak link defensively. Fwiw, this why I've never bought into the hype about Sterling. Put Salah, for example, in Norwich's team and you'll see a difference. Put Sterling in and he'd be a passenger.

Just loved his little smirk at the Burnley fans as he ran behind the goal after scoring.

Daniel Amartey 👏 immaculate. Vardy 😍 legend

Yeah, I get that, but we lacked penetration. Two strikers might've given them something else to think about... 🤷♂️

Lacking in confidence up front. Couldn't understand swapping Daka and Iheanacho like-for-like when we're chasing the game. Good to see Ricardo getting back to form though...

1-1 vs Stoke in April 1994. Jimmy Willis scored the equaliser (off the back of his head with his eyes closed! 😄) Like others have said before, one taste and you're hooked! No feeling like it.

I posted this in 'chants and songs' thread. To the tune of 'I love rock and roll': 'Kier-nan Dewsbury Hall; He's the Shepshed Iniesta, Kier-nan Dewsbury Hall; Running the midfield for Leicester City' 😄

Underwhelming signings that you were wrong about

Cottee was the one that stands out for me. I thought he was finished before he went to Malaysia (probably looked worse because West Ham were so 'hot and cold' at the time!) so when we signed him, I thought O'Neill had lost the plot! How wrong I was! 😄 -

Walking behind a Liverpool fan on the way back to my car and heard him moaning about their away support. I quote: "Shouldn't be allowed at away games until you've been to 100 home Premier league games." 😄 Probably not relevant to anything but it amused me so I thought I'd share...
