We're the left side.......

Also the more the other donkeys go, that might mean there is less chance of us letting Fatawu, BEK & Winks go, who look like they will drive the team this season and 2 of them next.
-
Based on Sunday, somehow (answers on a postcard), we have to keep Fatawu, BEK, Winks. IF they let them go/have to get rid, then their historical stupidity (new 3 year contracts Vesty & Hamza) on top of the financial disasters building over the the previous seasons will be the reason why. IF they were in any sort of decent financial shape, they could bat all the fud for the players away. 1st Sept can't come fast enough. Promise you as well, if those 3 go, there is NO contingency in place to replace them immediately LFL, more stupidity and disaster upon disaster. We will really struggle to get promoted without that quality.

The big issue on this is manager churn. They come in "everybody has a clean slate", the manager is under pressure to get results relatively quickly, you don't risk or blood youngsters, they tend to go with experience. Look at Cooper's choice's last season, and most of them not fit for purpose, PL experience. Ayew's been ok and no more, rest pants, BDCR, Edouard, Skipp.
-
Totally correct, said it before on here, how did Vestergaard get a new 3 year contract because he played well in the second tier AFTER the manager never picked him, strangely the next 2 managers in the top flight never picked him. Same with Hamza, 3 year contract for mediocrity and general failure. Probably more.

I'm not a fan of his. His first game was Tottenham A, 6-2 to the home team. He has been integral to stopping the ball going into our net for the last 3 seasons, we have been relegated twice. Unless I am mistaken Professional Sport and Football in particular is a results business. He needs to own some of that, and that perhaps is his worst trait, ownership of a multitude of mistakes, repeatedly over a fairly lengthy period of a time. Lets compare to a number who came before, Wes, Huth, Cags, Evans, Fofana, even Amartey on his day. Is he better? He described it as a "dream" and expressed his eagerness to play in the Premier League, well it must be the League NOT the club, because since we plummetted that first season, can't say he has ever exuded happiness or most importantly reliability AND he has been rinsed by the Belgian press at the time for his national performances, can't be coincidence. He does the job in the Championship, the guy is NOT a top flight defender, and along with Vestergaard and others, I wish the club would recognise that, 1/2 to 2/3's of that side AREN'T Premier league standard.

For me they're a jolly boys club. Its time to grow up. Aussie's would see that thru to the win. Root and Stokes have carried the rest this series. 3 attempts and they have never made the World Test final, so not even in the top 2 in the world. It is amazingly exciting, there have been some amazing series the last 5 years, BUT they are indulged. Batting - its always averages, ours are poor aside from Brook and Root, and Brook's will fall I think, the rest are around 40 or less, the best players are around 50 if not above 45. Duckett has improved, but questions are always asked about Pope and Crawley, Brook saved his series figures with the ton yesterday. Did Pope boss the 1st innings extra's fiasco? India were the better side overall this series, we probably got a bit lucky. BUT England are home flat track bullies, they beat most of the rubbish at home, 50/50 away and then have just drawn the last 2 series against the big boys at home & get battered away. And sadly when the heat was on Smith with a few tests under his belt and even Bethell having played test cricket bottled it. Nobody in the last 5 or 6 wanted to take ownership/responsibility to see it through. These guys have got to be told to keep the ball on the floor and don't fence outside off stump. Grow Up lads. -

Leicester City Fan Engagement Plan for the 2025/26 season
The boy Linacre replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
The club and most on here were here before they arrived and will be here long after they have gone (fingers crossed), they are TEMPORARY custodians. Respect that. Make these statements at least more personal NOT like some 6 month or 12 month company report, in times of failure and lack of success don't make it sound like there have been wins and successes when I suspect many feel more distanced from the club than for a very long time. 1) Accept and own the failure of last season 2) Explain the desire to be promoted and return to the top league and how they can make a better job than the last 2 seasons 3) This is a personal issue but I think a bugbear for a large number, the digital ticketing has been enforced when it doesn't have to be (PL Rules ONLY) in that case give something back to the fans, make it more games to be flexible. 4) Be more open and discussive with the Foxes Trust on their requests after their end of season survey. Try and fix a distanced and somewhat disconnected fanbase relationship in whatever way they can. -
Martin Samuel writes some really good stuff in the Times. He said these days (and he was focusing on Man Urd) selling is as important as buying to a club in the world of PSR. English League primarily Premier League players are so hard to get rid of if they are proved average or poor as their salaries are so high due to the UK TV money. Hence we can't get rid of Vestergaard, Faes, Soumare or even Wilf, to freshen it up or take a new direction.

I'm pretty certain my lad got fully into Cricket after that day, twas brilliant. We sat next to Josh Hull's mum & family at the game, though she then moved to the "popular" stand for the Craic & atmosphere. He's followed county all summer (lives in London) every time he comes home You Tube is on with some Vitality Blast game and he's off to Oz in the winter. -
WOW!! Brilliant and the MCG at Christmas I'll see them end of September back at Wembleee

The App is just a shop, the whole thing is selling stuff.... -

Odsonne Edouard's 16 mins at home when coming on as sub against Bournemouth 5th Oct 2024, to keep or hold the ball up for us Despite being a forward, he didn’t register a single goal or assist at home, and his overall attacking contribution was minimal. His shooting accuracy was 33.3%, and he averaged just 1.93 shots per 90 minutes said Co Pilot Surprisingly he didn't play at home for us again, and had 2 mins away at Manure & 18 mins in the LC Wow, that 16 mins told them a lot AND ME, SHOCKER

Has the digital ticketing boat sailed now and are we all stuck with it?

You are absolutely not wrong, BUT nothing has been done on this for years. Its actually just lazy by them and shows a sign of stupidity because they can't come up with a better way to make it fairer, and I'm on the right side of this. I managed to catch up over the last 5-7 years by going to more than half the aways each season, but I still can't get tickets to smaller grounds e.g. Brentford, Bournemouth etc. In fact I went to Bournemouth in the FA Cup 2 years ago coz, I knew it was the only way I would get a ticket for midweek game and Cups don't get as much demand the the League till the later rounds.

Is there an element of filibustering here?? The club were relegated on the 20th April, I know the survey didn't take place till end May, June and the results early July. But I suppose its about the sentiment of/from the club? Did the Trust attendees feel that those representing the club were capable of communicating the concern upwards and enabling/effecting change of some nature? I think in reality that's whats wanted here? It feels like there was an element of justification of the survey here by the Trust attendees. Not a recognition of mistakes or failure by the club over the last 1-3 years, and fail they have, after 9 seasons of top flight football they have been relegated twice in 3 seasons, they have disenfranchised a good cross section of the support with examples like digital ticketing when not officially required this season etc.. The fact that the club finish with: The meeting concluded with the Club thanking the Trust for sharing the results and reiterating their desire to hear and act upon supporter feedback. Are they aware that you have asked them to: Provide a comprehensive update on changes the Club have made as a result of the survey results by 31st August 2025 I suspect they will hope for a good start to the season, because with any of these things the clamour will die down as a result. It doesn't matter what the results on the field are this season, and even if we end up champions or promoted, there has to be change. I just think the owners and management team's running of the club has made a decent number of us apathetical and disillusioned about OUR Football club.

Working But TMS doing the business again, this series is really kicking off, with a bit of "heat". Last 2 tests will be interesting if we go 2-1 up. Briliant -
