  1. This line is interesting in light of the kick off date? Man City (a) - Weds 2 April - 19.45 Tickets for this fixture will be posted out week commencing 1 April April Fool????
  2. NOBODY NOBODY should be spending that tenner, they let the club and the fans downs between 1st Jan and 3rd Feb by banking £7m not investing to stay up. Aside from the previous 3 years of debacles Go Away LCFC Merchandise arm
  3. Problem is, we almost step out at 3pm every Saturday or whatever stupid time TV takes us too and at that second when the whistle blows, this team is 2-0 down. So take it from there 24/25 Foxes........... Its a tough ask
  4. Thats a good shout BUT Stephy just isn't up to it at this level, impact sub no more, Soumare instead of Stephy
  5. Which 3 spectators behind the goal is he knocking out???
  6. The paradox we find ourselves in is that the upper echelons didn’t think a 38yo striker who scored 4 Premier league goals last time out with a more creative side behind him AND a 4 year proved striker who sadly can’t hit a barn door with a banjo AND possibly the worst ever loan deal the club has done were entrusted as our firepower for our battle for safety
  7. Think you probably got it about right, its over that 6 month period, Rodgers was getting bored/demotivated, Top & Rudkin didn't invest, Rodgers spat the dummy, we looked a couple of times like we might right the ship & then they left his sacking too late, shouldn't have had Waldorf & Statler in charge for Bournemouth & Villa, Madders missed peno & the club crumbled. Enzo took a strong base and got us back up, then PSR scared managers & players away. They wasted loads of money on Edouard, BDCR, Skipp, probably Ayew, and we are where we are. I said 5 years after we went down, wasn't expecting this immediate return, thought we'd survive, their PSR stupidity, never gave us a chance this season & then like domino's they make bad mistake after bad mistake & the successes are temporary or paper over the cracks, Mads, Fatawu (though he hasn't truly proved it yet in the top flight) & BEK. We'll go down at a lower base than 2 years ago, that is just crass mismanagement & stupidity.
  8. Know its not at the festival BUT saw Fatty Owls in London on Saturday & it was great, really funny. The bloke playing Basil Fawlty is brilliant. They intersperse the Germans, Communication Problems & the Hotel Inspector, TRUE comedy gold, recommended. This is a funny as it gets: Guest: "When I pay for a view, I expect something more interesting than that." Basil: "But that is Torquay, madam." Guest: "Well it's not good enough." Basil: "Well may I ask what you expected to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain..." Guest: "Don't be silly. I expect to be able to see the sea." Basil: "You can see the sea! It's over there between the land and the sky!" Guest: "I'd need a telescope to see that." Basil: "Well might I suggest you move to a hotel closer to the sea. Or preferably in it."
  9. Is that after we wasted a lot of money on Skipp, Edouard and to a lesser extent BCDR & Ayew, it was a horrendous window, get that 2/3's right and we might stay up, the only find was Bilal, 3 of those and we have a real chance. We decided to place our faith in a 38yo striker & the back 4 that took us down last time & isn't fit for this level. In terms of embargo, as Forest have proved, better to stay up and be in it, than down and battling the super competitive league & slog that is the Championship with no promotion guarantees. Different opinions, I would have gambled in Jan, not big we couldn't as we wasted it all last Summer, but certainly something at centre half & a winger or striker & blown Edouard out. Its gone now, we will be super lucky to stay up now, this manager isn't fit for a relegation battle AND the players aren't good enough as a squad for this level, I was at Everton, it was all there, along with Palace, Wolves & Fulham. They have to find some way to stop the ball going in the net & they can't. Tottenham was an aberration, they were worse than us, much as it was enjoyable to be there after being at the 6-2 last time out.
  10. The board & club gave up on the 1st Jan & just kept us hanging on till the 3rd Feb, close it. As I said on another transfer thread: Don’t know why we do these things to ourselves……….? So in July/Aug 24, was the thread who do we need………and we came up with……… Jordan Ayew BDCR odsonne Edouard Oliver Skipp, tell you what, let’s pay £20m for him So every common sense suggestion doesn’t get anywhere close to the quality that the LCFC brains & money trust come up with. EVERY time We have no idea what they as a group expect to achieve over the next 18-24 months AND they said they aren't getting rid of Ruud coz they can't afford to.
  11. I did get an invite and then forgot to attend, so annoyed with myself. BUT as I said I've been on both sides, didn't have many points from the start, so just had to do the hard yards on aways, been to about 60 over the last 6-7 season, so have now got up to 570+, but bad timing meant I didn't have enough to go to the FA Cup final. Couldn't get to Forest in the Cup, never Brentford our Bournemouth. But for me, the 50pts for home ST has always been an issue, they're getting a massive reward for NOT going to away games, thats why I couldn't get to the Cup Final, think I had already done 20-30 aways to that point, but didn't have more than 401/2 at that point. So an Away tickets should be worth 3-4 pts IF they continue with the 50pts, if they reduce that 50 in some away IF you go to every away you could prospectively get more than the home 50pts, so 19 aways=57pts for example. They are then being rewarded and actually gaining benefit from going to AWAY games. Which is how it should work. They probably need to redress over 2 seasons, to clear everybody down to 0 would probably be a bit mad.

  13. What we watched a long ball sail through our defence & lost NEVER seen that this season, not even last week, tools
  14. You have got that spot on, tbf he has had 53 opportunities to do it this season
  15. Great assist by Wout, knob
  16. As no Vardy is Edouard on the bench?
  17. Should be fine, they didn't try at all last week, so they should be full of running
  18. You can also get an idea here, I sat in SU4 for the cup last year & SL2 for the league game after a couple of times in the lower: https://aviewfrommyseat.co.uk/venue/Stamford+Bridge/sections/
  19. Me too, Midlands & London only
  20. I was born & raised on St Matthews could hear the fans when I was in bed if there was a decent crowd as couldn’t go on a school night on the midweek games, it was a mile & a bit, 27 years brilliant!! Now near Gilmorton, so about 12 miles I think
  21. Main thing is the entitled, just plain nasty (see Rice last night, Gabriel Sunday) and Arteta all the time, Arsenal got an absolute drubbing, and the worst side in Man U's recent history, and that is going some, knocked them out of the FA Cup. NOTHING has changed since their dressing room photo in 2016, entitled. They have the photo, we have the Premier League trophy. Howay the lads
  22. And of course they all know best, as we let Everton batter us on Saturday after 7 losses out of 8, jokers all. Cooper wasn't the answer but they are steaming towards relegation
  23. Think you'll be fine or there is a bow wave coming when they open the next block
  24. I know its bit late in the day BUT obviously we had the disaster of the January window coz of the cataclysm of the July & Aug cluster***k But can anybody actually tell me WHY Cooper was sacked?? What did he do that took Top in the direction of wasting even more pay off money? I'm genuinely interested to know........
  25. That game sent us down as much as the next home against Southampton & the 2 games Waldorf & Statler gifted vs Villa & Bournemouth and Madders penalty miss. BUT Rodgers spat the dummy at Top & Rudders coz of lack of recruitment in 80 degree heat and brought no subs on & Frank bought 5 on. It wasn't about the club but him, following the Forest outburst a few months earlier. We lost 2 pts, were relegated by 2pts. We wouldn't be here now.
