Sorry, Championship standard. Had one reasonable game. Game was won by great performances by Wilf, Soumare (never saw that coming), Viktor, Mads of course, BEK, Buananotte AND Coady and Jannik were decent.

We've butchered this season from Maresca leaving. It wasn't ideal but we had some time, I presume we struggled to get a manager in because the the impending PSR at the time. We bought some players in, Almost all are poor and haven't taken us forward in anyway, its was an AWFUL window. Rubbish = Eduoard, BDCR, Michael Golding?? Who?? Poor = Skipp (why did we buy him at £20m+??, I presume most fans asked the same question), Okoli is now looking an issue too, can't play and defending is starting to go backwards Passable = Ayew (but on his backside ALL the time) Promising - El Khannouss, hope to come good over time Wasn't bothered about Cooper's Forest links, and open minded on him, but after the 2 wins, and somewhat before that, such a conservative cautious manager, substition approach poor, late, uninspiring & confused + what was the Ricky issue. Patently confused the players, we lost any identity and he accepted poor performances by not making changes. Saturday, we looked a poor side, tragically we have lost Abdul, who knows with Winks and we are reliant on a 37 year old striker, who can finish and link somewhat but little else, and is a injury risk now. Top and his team have 9 weeks to sort this: 1) Moyes (short term) or Potter, if either will come, proven & reliable, no risks/punts 2)3 at least GOOD quality players, all must start or play (coming on) in most of the games once they are bought....and take that team forward and solve some of the issues, defending or creating, team spirit and doggedness And then we'll see BUT we have to find a way to stay up, that is expectation, and I think 17th or 16th is expectation, and should be reality, if we do some of the above, get an identity, a way to play, cut down on conceding and get some confidence.

So are the club in the position to spend decent in Jan? We are precariously placed, we look limited, the club needs an infusion of premier league quality, we wasted time & money in the summer with Skipp, Ayew, BDCR, Edouard. HOW MUCH money will the club gamble to stay up in Jan???
-
Though we need to beat Wet Spam
-
Absolutely, today proved over priced & never needed. I think 98% of the fan base would have thought we didn’t need him, so who countenanced this?. Rudkin or Cooper? Would love to know? But wow we could with that money now for January
-
I wasn't wrong, even more so now Abdul is out for the season. We say this every time of late but this is the most important window for a long time AND January always smacks of panic. But yes they MUST be starters, Vardy's living on fumes, Ayew & Daka aren't quality like Delap & Szmodics. The defence is a mess, Ricky gone, JJ & Viktor not good enough, Vesty too slow, Faes 1 game good, 1 game mediocre. 1 game bad on repeat. And just for confidence of this all for us, when was the last time almost all or 75% of the purchases REALLY took the club forward, thats what got to happen. So the muppets that just bought BDCR, Edoaurd, Skipp & Jordan (just about ok). Have to get 3 or 4 in that impact immediately. How confident are we of that?????
-
What an absolute sad, utter waste, in a squad that is limited in quality. A threat much of the time, carries goals & a great approach and mentality and smile on his face. Hope he plays for us again in the Premier League. Feel really empty on this one, and Cooper "I don't want any negativity and there won't be from me". YES but the negativity for the fanbase, is we are all confident he won't have a clue how to at least replace him without a Jan purchase. Coz Mcateer & BDRD just aren't Premier League class AND he hasn't given Alves enough game time that he can now risk him (muppet). Bilal, Stephy and striker as front 3 AND/OR give Alves the minutes as the sub/cover for the wings.

Hope they realise, like a puppy its not just for Christmas? -
They're not giving it away to the U22's are they?? AND They are squeezing it on the fossils too!!! Over 66's, isn't everybody else over 65. Does Rachel Reeves run the finances there?

Gods help
-
Mbappe isn't the player he was......we should exert caution
-
Fair question. Who is the guy on the left? The shirt tells us the guy on the right
-
You have to say, with the squad we have and the the way the season has gone so far, if either of them is missing more than or not available to select for more than one game, that is a disaster for us. That squad can't afford to have the option to not start Abdul and not be able to bring on Ayew in any game as a minimum. Was never going to be Andre Ayew, Kudus, Semenyo or even bless him Daniel Amartey........ Small mercy for Ghana not making the Afcon finals Fingers crossed, its all better than we think
-
I’ve lost my fandom for him BUT very hard to sack him WHEN he’s in a position we would all take now AND we are a few pts clear of the drop zone
-
And played very well, but getting a bit of a Darren Anderton
-
Allied to which its like having beer goggles, in the summer he wasn’t attractive to most, now we are a third of the way in & we understand the lie of the land he’s looking like Bella Hadid. This season is ONLY about staying up, look at those that have, comfortable in the top flight e.g. Wolves, Brentford & especially Brighton
-
As a local club runner from back in the day. IF you want to have to walk, run the Huncote Hash post Christmas, almost all walk that up to the top of the hill. The Kibworth 6 has Saddington & Gunley Hill, absolute killers, plenty of walking again even at the top end. When I lived on the Matthews, I used to run from home to Beaumont Leys School, Anstey Lane up wasn't the easiest especially right outside the school, BUT it was lovely coming back!!!

That is based on a poll of only 20k But Yes aside from White Men 45-64, all the majority numbers are for the Democrats. It was mildly funny to start with 8 years ago, BUT it all unravelled. The middle of the country has become so polarised in the last 20 years in their right wing extremism, its just very sad. Don't think it will be as funny this time AND it'll be very interesting to see how he ends these wars he told us he is going to do His coterie of fruitcakes like Elon will add an interesting dynamic to it this time!! Lets get ready for the ride..........Reliable in his unreliability

Ipswich 1-1 LCFC - Post Match Thread

And the summariser on the Sky 30 highlights said so -
Think its a 50/50, would expect ALL of the established PL teams to improve & get some surprise positive results, not sure that’s in the kit bag of any of the promoted 3. What worries me are the summer purchases have been truly rubbish & add NO Premier League quality to that squad. Ayes still isn’t very good BUT has scored 2 vital goals, but Skipp now seems not favoured, looking £20m well spent, BDCR & Edouard look an utter waste of time, Okoli shows some limited promise. Will they gamble a little in Jan, suspect that will decide, if not will be very tight….HOPE it goes better than that

IN a game that doesn't really matter in comparison to the one that follows, that is REALLY stupid behaviour. Ipswich Saturday is one of the biggest half a dozen this season, CAN'T LOSE and give them 3pts, ideally win
-
He's certainly STATIC We want this as much as them, win this and we have had a very very good mini session, 3 wins out of 4, cmon Lestah!!! You can do this
-
Are we shot of him at the end of this season??
